It’s so hot nowadays. I am tempted to use wood blinds instead of my curtains. I’ve been contemplating on having one installed because I can no longer tolerate the heat. The a/c just doesn’t give the temperature that I want simply because my curtains can no longer shield the rays coming from Mr. Sun. Another thing, my curtains gather dust and I keep on washing every week. I won’t be having any of these problems when I have blinds installed. So yeah, I think I am now convinced to have blinds instead.

I’m not the one confined but my darling doll. She had fever for 3 consecutive days which is very unusual when we are talking about plain flu. I didn’t really suspect that she had dengue, it was farthest from my mind. When it was confirmed that she had it, it was pretty hard for me to accept. I was doubly worried because I’ve heard of worst cases happening. I kept praying and trusting God that He will completely heal her. I still worry a lot even if I know that I have a God who heals. I think it’s the mother in me, the ache I feel when I see my daughter so helpless.

No Reason to Be Rude

Have you encountered some call center agents who are just plain rude? I can never forget my experience with that person. Getting through the line is a problem by itself, and then you encounter such person? Thing is, the problem is not even close to being resolved and then they hang up on you. Instead of them referring me to some person who can understand, hanging up is their solution. They should follow the example of this telephone answering services, that being passionate of what they do. It’s a completely different story if one is passionate about his work rather than just having work to earn a living. I hope I encounter more courteous call center agents in the future.

I Want a Nice Tan

I gotta have that nice tan, but I never did. I am frustrated when it comes to getting a nice tan, and I don’t actually know why. I need to know all the best spray tan products so that I will be able to achieve the color that I want. I try to get a really nice tan every summer but it does not happen. Now I wonder why. I think I need to live by the beach in order to achieve it. What do you think?

I am so glad that I found a Manang (seamstress) who can actually sew and the bonus part is she lives very near our house. I don’t know if you have heard about hgh. It’s actually a growth hormone, something that will make you grow taller. I’ve read about it in a couple of articles and it made me interested. I heard that it has helped a lot of people already. Since it’s hype some years back, hgh supplements has been in demand in the market. A lot of people want to buy hgh. I myself want to try it, not for myself but for my children. But for some reason, I have not gotten into doing it. One of the reasons probably is because it is not yet widely used here in my country at that time that I thought of using it. Yay! I am discovering a lot of things whenever I am online. I’m no ignorant now when it comes to a lot of stuff. Admit it, you learn a lot using the internet, especially google. Haha, it’s becoming my best friend. Anyway I am talking about Mighty Mite Bodies. These are guitar parts. I saw a purple body and I just know that my daughter will love it. She’s fond of anything violet or pink, well she’s a girl after all. I know too that she can create a very nice color combination which will make her look like a real rocker whenever she will hold that guitar. I can’t wait for that day, after all she asked us to let her study guitar.

It’s summer over here and a lot of my friends will go out of town especially this coming week which is Holy Week. We too are spending the week somewhere else and the kids are already excited. We get to do this once a year so we really look forward to it. It usually involves swimming either in the pool or out in the beach. There are a lot of fun activities that is expected to happen. I heard that we can go snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, etc. Of course I won’t miss the spa which I heard is the best. Hopefully it’s still well maintained. I wonder if they use raypak for their heaters. I read somewhere that it’s pretty durable and I think they too are the world leader when it comes to the pool and spa.

School just ended. My girl would be in her 3rd year and the boy first year, both in college already. Gosh, time flies too fast…seemed like only yesterday. Anyway vacation only means one thing in this household. Games, sms, radio, everything involving power, batteries to be exact. Good thing I was able to stock up on them, but I’m sure I will run out one way or another. Vacation is more than 2 months, so I guess I need to get more of those ones. Let me know if you find a better deal compared to these batteries I found online which I fondly call battery world.

I’m glad that my cystic acne are no longer acting up after I went to the dermatologist last Friday. It’s quite disgusting, I mean the look. Like last Sunday when I attended a function, everyone was like “oh what happened to your face?” Now can you imagine how disgusting it looks? Anyway, I asked my derma what causes it to erupt. It could be hormonal imbalance for one, a “dirty” face is another reason. Oh! I think that’s it. I have been putting a lot of makeup lately and seems like I wasn’t able to cleanse it properly. I need to find the best makeup remover so that I will not encounter the same problem again. The face needs to be really cleansed in order for it not to be clogged. Apparently, the makeup remover I have is not really working. Now the search begins, I am not sacrificing my look so I gotta act fast…internet shopping here I come!

I’ve learned how to make a basic skirt already and I think this time Teacher Mo will teach us how to make different styles of skirts. Unending repairs…these are some of the problems that cause stress in the household. I really don’t know what went wrong, but it seems like it’s never ending, one after another. It’s a good thing our water pump is no longer giving me headache. I think we found one that is really durable and can withstand our demand for water. I learned my lesson, will never get something that is really cheap because in the end it will cause major problem.

I go to the gym almost everyday. I spend on the average around 2 hours, doing a bit of weights, a lot of cardio and dancing. I am enjoying it to the max in fact I feel sad whenever I can’t go. My system is looking for it. I’ve developed friends which is a plus. I am very observant too, always mindful of my surroundings. I noticed that people have all sort of drinks. I’d like some energy drinks but I don’t know which is the best. I heard that crystal light is good. What I did was check online to see what makes it good. I liked what I discovered. A zero carb drink, woohoo! It’s low calorie and sugar free too. Now I found my perfect companion!

I don’t know if I mentioned to you guys that my daughter auditioned in a radio station to be one of their student jocks. Anyway, she made it and she’s part of the radio station now. They are still on the orientation stage and hopefully this wouldn’t take long as most of those who made it had experience already one way or another. I’m sure my daughter is already familiar with rane mixers since she has been boarding in their school radio for quite sometime now. I get excited when she tells me stuff about how her day went at the station and I always share her happiness and achievements.

I can’t contain my happiness so pardon me if I post everything here My Kindle touch finally arrived and we are so happy about it. Thanks to my cousin Charity for buying it for us. We actually saved a big amount because we asked her to buy it for us in the US. I’ve seen some shops sell it at P15k and I was like, WTH!!! My other cousin was able to buy it here too for P7k, this one is not bad at all. Anyway, we got ours for $99 at Amazon plus we got free shipping too, hurrah for that! I know, I know, I talk too much, it’s the excitement!!! Teehee!

I am privileged to travel out of the country at least twice a year. These are pleasure trips. I am very thankful that I am provided such privilege since not everyone is being offered this. Anyway, in most of this trips, I am always with my sister-in-law. She loves to travel a lot. She’s been to different countries not once but countless times especially if the country is in her list of favorite places to go.

There’s one concern though that I am trying to raise with her. I really do not know if she is protected every time she travels. I am not, to tell you frankly, but I am looking into doing so before I leave again. Maybe I can also offer my sister-in-law to do the same. I’ve actually been looking and scouting around the net for companies that offer this and I came across Travel Insurance Direct. This is the kind of company I want to deal with since it covers almost everything I am looking for. What I like about it is that I can be covered with just a fraction of my pocket money so to speak. Well none of us really want to get sick while we are out of our mother country. For one, expenses would be a headache since hospital charges are not the same. I love Skype. I talk a lot with my sisters who are based in the US using Skype. Gone are the days that you need to pay a lot just to be able to hear their voice. Thanks to VOiP for bringing us closer together. We can now talk anything under the sun. After updating ourselves what’s new in our lives and that of our loved ones, next to follow would be fashion. They would share with me the new in thing there, what people are crazy about. Apparently the thing that people are crazy about this days are these pandora jewelry. I looked it up in the internet, and oh boy! Now I know the reason why people go gaga over these jewelry. I myself wants to own one. I’ve seen a couple of my friends wear them and it’s just beautiful. I think I’m making that my next project.

I accompanied my daughter to audition at 94.7’s School of Jocks at Market! Market. We came in a bit late because of some Bourne Legacy filming along the way. I think we were stuck in traffic for about 45 minutes. I didn’t read an advisory or something otherwise I would have taken another route. Anyway, there were about 90 who auditioned and only 25 will be chosen. By God’s grace, my daughter was one of them. She was very happy when she got the call and she couldn’t believe it. She’ll start training anytime soon and I will be her chaperone and driver whenever she has a schedule. I thank God for the talent she has given my daughter.
