Just how many kinds of life insurance are there? I don’t even know the difference unless I sit down and read about it. And I thought there’s only life insurance. I was surprised to hear about term life insurance from a friend. Oh so this kind of insurance only lasts for a predetermined period of time. No wonder it’s very affordable and a lot of people opt for this. If you want to get yourself covered, then this will be a good start. It’s a good thing insurance companies thought of this, this is kind of bringing insurance to everyone.

I was due to have a root dye. I don’t know if you noticed in my photos that the gray hair are already showing. I should be doing this thing once a month but then if I can stretch it to two then it’s better. Normally this happens when I don’t have special occasions to attend.
Anyway I was having second thoughts of using auburn. In my mind now that I’m in my 40s, I can’t get away with any color. Yes, I’ve mellowed down already and not as crazy anymore. My choices in hair color have toned down a bit. Ah look what age can do, heh. Going back, again I did it myself. I used Revlon in auburn, and not bad. It didn’t really turn out as red as I thought it would. I am relieved! I think I’ll stay with this color for a bit, but not with the brand. I used to get my hair color at Healthy Options (the paraben and ammonia free), and I think I’m gonna use that one.
*I’ll take pictures tomorrow so you can see the hair color. I’m attending a party!

I’m turning 44 in less than a month, is that even a reason for me to get scared? I am not scared, not at all, a bit worried probably. Hhhmmm so what am I trying to say here? Well, I see the need to be frequenting the page where the best wrinkle cream can be found. I should start early especially now that fine lines are very visible. I see nothing wrong with applying creams and all if only to slow down. To me it’s part of taking care of oneself, not that I am addicted to things like this like it is my life. It’s just that I want to look younger if not I want to look my age at least.

Uh oh…what is this again. I totally get scared when I read these two words, side effects. Scared because I might have used the product in the past and am using it now only to find out that it’s kinda bad because of it’s side effects. I wonder how those males would feel if they read the enzyte side effects? Man this is scary, we are talking about the “manhood” here and if there’s truth to this claim, my oh my! But at least there is an ongoing warning and I am good with that. It makes me aware whether there is truth to it or none.

It wasn’t as cold, but colder than Manila’s 38, so I couldn’t complain more. It gets colder though in the early mornings and late evenings. It took us 4 hours to get to Baguio from Bataan (Subic) again via SCTEX (no Noynoy controversy here). Traffic was somewhat heavy because it was a long weekend. You know how it is when it’s a long weekend here in the Philippines, everyone goes to their fave destinations. First thing we did when we got there was to check Ukay-Ukay coz Ish wanted to own a leather jacket. I told her that she wouldn’t be needing it actually so she should not spend a fortune for it (she was considering buying either at Zara or Mango). I was the one who suggested to get it instead in Ukay. Success! But we found it the following day though when we really spent time going through all the stuff, coughing along the way. We got a few things too, she found 2 bags (not branded but pure leather or should I say of good material) and I found a cute bag too (rabeanco) in the color that I really really love. Nope we haven’t worn or used it yet coz we needed to airdry (whatever it’s called) it out in the sun. I think I’d make a separate post for our Ukay finds.
Anyway, Baguio was fun. All we did was walk and eat and sleep. We didn’t bother going around since it was the nth time that we’ve been there. Burnham Park couldn’t be skipped though coz the kids want to go biking, and of course no one misses going to Burnham without riding the boat. Hhhmmm what else did we do? Oh did I mention that we ate? Haha, I gained back the pounds that I lost even if we walked a lot, do I need to tell you why? Dang the good food that MIL fed us.
We enjoyed this once in a lifetime bonding, it does not happen everyday you know. We are all thankful that my MIL thought of bringing us together and have fun. This was her way of celebrating her 68th birthday instead of having a grand celebration. Well this is a grand celebration in itself since she spent a fortune too having 19 persons (drivers and yayas included) in the whole entourage. Fun, fun, fun!

Accidents do happen. We do not know when and when it happens we are never prepared for it. What’s worst when accidents happen it’s so hard to get compensation claims. I hear a lot of stories regarding that and sometimes it makes me think why these things are happening. Indeed we live in a cruel world. If one can get away with it, then they would. It’s pretty unfair if you think of it, for one you are entitled to claim the compensation that you need. Like I said an accident is not your own doing.
Now there are others who do not want to go after such claims. Maybe they think they do not have the resources to do so. The others are not physically fit to go through all the requirements or the paper works that goes with the claim. Now if you fall under this category, let me tell you that someone can help you out with your Compensation Claims. Their services is totally free. I know what you’re thinking, it’s too good to be true, right? But I tell you it’s free, you need not put out a single penny. If you are successful with your claim, then you get it 100%. Still too good to be true? Again let me share with you that fees involved will never be charged to you but to the third party’s insurance company.
Getting interested now? All you need to do is pick up your phone and call. If you can’t do that, you can always go online and fill up the form. They have experts who can help you out with your possible COMPENSATION CLAIMS. Don’t waste you time anymore and don’t let the agony linger. Who knows, the compensation you get would help you out with your ongoing medication. That claim can go a long long way. The more you act with hesitation, the more harder or almost impossible for you to claim.

Ish has been requesting that she’d be allowed to learn how to drive already. She’s already 16 and she can now apply for a student permit. Funny how her Dad reminded me to have my car insured. Yeah right now it isn’t, but I am scouting for an auto insurance already. The hubs is right after all. It’s really right to have my car insured so that when anything happens we won’t be the ones shouldering all of the repair expense.

I’ll be going to Manila City Hall again this afternoon. I’ve been asked to come back for my Statement of Account about 4 times already. They gave me a number to call to inquire if it’s out already but it’s real hard getting through. I will again attempt to go there this afternoon and hopefully it would be out by then so I can get our Business Permit. There are probably too many business owners in the City of Manila, or probably I didn’t bribe the people there so it took me forever to get my permit. I applied on the 14th of January and what are we now, February 8? They moved the deadline to February 26, after which a fine would be added for late filers.

Do you know what’s common among all of us in the family? Blackheads! This is one of the reasons why we go to the dermatologist once a month. It’s annoying having it especially when you touch your nose and you feel that it’s a little rough. Since this is a problem that does not go away, I have to find ways and means for us to be able to save, you know how it is to go to the dermatologist once a month and there’s actually four of us. Good thing I was able to look for a remedy which can be found at http://www.blackheadextractors.org. It might help me with my problem who knows.

Acccckkkk! Fine lines! What’s next? Wrinkles! I know it’s inevitable but not so soon please? Haha that is the plea of every girl I think, well someone vain though. Sometimes I do think of that too coz you know why? I’m only partially vain. I can say I am not that scared too because I found the best remedy, I have the list of the best face creams in town. How did I know? I am an internet junkie remember? Of course I found the list online. I am not at all surprised since everything can be found in the internet nowadays.

I don’t know but sometimes I get bored playing FB games already. I don’t get excited playing Restaurant City in fact I just play it so that I can get the free ingredient for the day if I am able to guess. I do it for my friends so they can trade whatever ingredients they need to they can cook a particular dish.
Pet Society, for some reason I still get excited playing it simply because of the clothes that are coming out every Monday. I love to play dress up and making my pet a cutie. If you can only see my Smiley, she is always hip like me.
Initially those were the two games I played. Then I was introduced to farmtown, then farmville and the latest is cafe world. I still play it everyday, until when? That I really don’t know.

I wrote in my other blog the reason why I wanted this color so bad. At the back of my mind I thought I will be able to get away with the color since I’m a bit on the fair side. According to my daughter Ish, you must be fair to be able to wear the color without looking weird. Ok, I’m fair so I can wear it without any problem, until I got a lot of nasty stares. Nope it didn’t end there. While browsing through the Greenhills tiangge, I overheard a girl say “Ay mukhang japoks.” Japoks is short for Japayuki. The common notion of a japayuki is a filipina who works in Japan in some club or something. I turned my back and started going towards her, she backed off with a scared look on her face. I was just holding myself not to slap her and of course I won’t stoop down to her level if you know what I mean. At least I can pass off as a japayuki, meaning I look good. But look at her, oh never mind, magkasala pako if I start describing how she looks like.

I’m sure most of you got what you wished for this Christmas. Others may have gotten it outright from Santa Claus on the eve of the 24th. I remember my own son wishing for a ps3 as birthday and Christmas present around 2 years ago. Of course the ever generous Santa (ahem) gave it to him. Now he is enjoying the console and once in a while we get to play too. It’s a great bonding time for the whole family whenever we are in front of the TV playing ps3 games.

I need a water treatment at home. I’ve been scouting for one and this water softener took my interest. What caught my attention really was this benefit. It leaves hair and skin feeling smoother and less dry. Haha I know I am vain as you can see, why not? Well there are other more benefits, so I am not considering this because of that particular benefit, duh! I just think that I need it because of the many benefits. I wonder if we have that here already.

I still haven’t mailed it, but I will tomorrow. Hope it gets to the recipient before winter ends so she can use it. This will be my first time to try our mailing system, I mean the one at the Post Office. I normally use DHL so I know how fast it will get to it’s destination. Hopefully this one will reach in just about 2 weeks, as promised. If it does, then I’d be sending more since it would really be affordable now.

I only have the leggings and the dress, don’t scream it’s not the same dress. Of course I can’t afford all the items I posted. I am just lucky that I found a dress similar to that, I said similar. Oh the bag? It’s a dream, will remain a dream until Ish graduates from law school and find a decent job. By then I would be a happy Momma, owning a real Chanel Caviar Quilted Bag…haha I so wish!

Oh no! Why am I talking about diseases/disorders? Do I sound like I’m scared? Of course I am, so I need all the information I can get about disorders I am not familiar with. Yep I also know that I should consult the doctor about it if ever someone in my family comes across it. But it helps me understand the disorder more if I do a little reading.
Take for example this pancreatic cancer. This is considered a silent killer according to some readings that I already did. You know why? You really do not have any symptoms early on in the disease. Normally it is diagnosed when it is already in the advance stage. But I am glad though that there is so called pancreatic cancer treatment.
Now let’s talk about lung cancer. There are actually two types of lung cancer. One is called small cell lung cancer which grows rapidly and spreads quickly and the other one is called non-small cell lung cancer. There are 3 sub-types, and at this point I am not in the position to explain. Better do some readings if you are really interested in it. I read too that lung cancer is the easiest to treat. Yes, there is lung cancer treatment, and don’t forget this is the easiest to treat, cooperation is needed though.

Not many of us know about cystic fibrosis disease. Is this really a common disease? Do we know how to go about it in case one of our family members is inflicted? Sad that my answer to it is a no. But now that I know a few things about it, I’m quite confident that my little knowledge will go a long way. It is actually a genetic disorder of the secretory glands. Known cystic fibrosis symptoms include excess mucus production, coughing, shortness of breath. In other words, it affects the function of the lungs. CF which is short for cystic fibrosis can damage the lungs. Not many people know this, that’s probably the reason why many people do not pay much attention to CF.
Did you know that probably one of the reasons why you have poor growth and poor weight gain despite the fact that you have a normal appetite might be due to CF? Did you know that this can cause infertility too? It’s hard for me to explain everything, but I think you have to do some reading so you will get first hand information. I am just scare that I am not explaining it right, if you know what I mean. But at least I am giving you an idea, in case you still don’t know about it. And yes there is a cystic fibrosis lung treatment. It’s not the end of the world for those people suffering with CF.

It’s an Imarflex hand mixer, yeah I am excited about this latest purchase. Probably because part of the money I bought that with came from my allowance as a scholar. I’m happy that I was able to buy it, with that I can be more creative with my baking and i can let my family taste my chocolate mousse. I can’t do whipped cream manually.

What do we really know about mesothelioma? Honestly, I only came to know about it just recently, for like a year or two. I’m not really familiar with it since I don’t know anyone who has been stricken with this kind of cancer. As to what I read, the known cause for this type of cancer is exposure to asbestos. It’s actually a rare type of cancer but we never know when it strikes. There are times that by the time we discover it, it’s already too late. This is the reason why I have been reading about a lot of things lately. I want to be prepared or should I say I want to know how to go about it so that by the time it strikes, I know of some preventive measures already.

Do you still remember the time when you first got a bunch of fresh flowers from someone you like? I do, and I felt like I was in heaven so to speak. I can’t explain how happy I felt at that time, it was actually a mixed feeling of excitement, joy, and most of all I felt very important. What magic flowers can bring if I may say. I guess most of us want to receive flowers in every occassion there is. I admit, I still get that same mixed feeling whenever somebody hands me flowers. Haha, just between you and me, I go for long stem roses in any color, but it has got to be of the same. I don’t know, but a long stem rose to me is just romantic. There’s a special something that I can’t explain when I see long stem roses. I often associate it with undying love and courtship. This is just me, and this is just what I think. Since we are already talking about flowers and all, have you seen the floral arrangements done by martha stewart? OMigoodness, it’s just awesome. I would love to have that arrangement anytime! It’s so beautiful and you won’t get tired looking at it. The color combination and the flower combination is unbelievable! That lady is truly talented!

Haha, this is my latest addiction, it kept me company when everything else was gray. Look it’s colorful! And I believe that I can bring all the colors back by God’s grace! It may not have been victorious, but it will because the best is yet to come!
I’ve quite neglected this blog, I’ve quite neglected bloghopping, but I have not neglected FB(ing). Thank God most of my friends are all in FB already, and they have been such a blessing to me! I can never thank you enuf people!

I have decided of late that I don’t want to indulge in the fitness activity I am currently into. I think I just want to do it at home with the help of this fitness equipment. I have heard a lot of success stories from people who has been doing it at home and I am truly inspired. If they can do it, then I can too. I have started it actually like a couple of weeks ago already, though not a regular thing right now because of issues I am involved in, but hopefully I will be able to come back.

They say…”the eye is the window to your soul”. I totally agree! I have something to add to that too. Sometimes the eye is the window to age. Our eyes just give our age away. That is why every time I wake up in the morning, the first thing I look at in the mirror is my eye. I squint so I would know the extent of fine lines I’ve got. Sad, yeah I’m sad because I’m starting to have them, and yes it is very visible, aside from the dark circles I get when I lack sleep. Funny how I expect not to get them at all. Fountain of youth…I wish I had it, but does anyone have it? I don’t think so, but we can do something about it. It would help delay the signs of aging, that is if we do something about it. Now how do we go about it? Let’s face it, we just have to use certain products. Agree or not? I’m looking into this eye wrinkle cream that I will be needing anytime soon. I have accepted the fact that sooner or later I’ll be needing the help of an eye wrinkle cream. I just need it especially that I am fond of putting on makeup. I want it to be flawless as much as possible. But more than that I don’t want to look my age. I believe that these creams help in firming the skin surrounding the eye area, thus no more fine lines or should I say lessen fine lines. Yeah that’s more like it, creams can help improve. Now if you think that this happens overnight, think about it. Nothing really happens overnight. It takes regular application if you want the product to work. Once you start using it, it should be done religiously. I think most product works that way so eye creams are no exception.
