Welcome Me Back Boracay!

Been to Boracay about four times already and it’s been years that I have not been there. I wonder if the magic is still there. I remember the first time I set foot, I was not impressed at all. I was actually disappointed because I was expecting to see more, based on the stories and all. I was hoping to see something like a paradise, kinda magical. I had to come back to realize that indeed it is beautiful, a paradise in it’s own little way. If given the choice, I would pick the month of November because I want to experience a very calm sea, very few people visit Boracay on this month so there is peace and quiet. Don’t get me wrong, I also love the hustle and bustle come summer time but if I was to pick, surely November would be it. I didn’t pick June, but I’m still going anyway. Welcome me back Bora!!!

Body Beautiful

It’s summer! The malls are packed, and there’s a big crowd gathering at the swimwear section! Women of different shapes and sizes holding on to different styles of swimsuits. That was the scene this morning at a famous department store I happen to visit. I even overheard one girl asking for quick weight loss tips from another girl. Nah I wasn’t eavesdropping at all but she sounded really desperate not because she was holding a 2-pc. bikini or is it? I wanted to go tell her that she can actually wear it and still look good as long as she has the confidence, and she’s not supposed to mind what other people will say. I can tell her that because she does not really look bad at all, but sometimes people dream of having a body to die for, there is nothing wrong with that but if you start obsessing, then it’s time to wake up, ok?
