When I visit an online store, the first thing I check are the discounts or deals being offered. I am a smart shopper after all. Never mind if it’s a small amount, but the important thing is I was able to save. I always check on zappos because I love the shoes they sell there. It sucks big time when I lose connection while doing research for school projects of my kids. I get irritated and frustrated, especially if I needed to do it right away. So my solution was to go to a nearby software store, bought this britannica ^_^. It’s cool, now I don’t need to stress myself whenever I lose connection. The encyclopedia we have over at my mom’s place is already obsolete, and I don’t want to buy new encylopedia, e-encyclopedia(is it called this?) is the in thing right now, and way cheaper. To a smooth-sailing research, yeehaa!

I love dressing up my kids when they were younger. I would do my usual rounds at the malls in search of nice comfortable clothes for them. I’d usually pick beautiful and trendy cotton tops for them. I love the feel of cotton, it’s soft and does not cause itching at all. I would dress them up with cute baby clothes, and most often than not, I would hear nice comments from people who see them. They would always compliment what my children are wearing and sometimes they would ask where I buy clothes for them. Now that they are bigger, I still pick trendy and comfortable clothes for them.

I got a new bag again, I don’t know whats with bags that I can’t resist it. I guess every woman wants to own bags in different colors. This is the first time I got a bag in yellow. Isn’t is pretty? Hmmmm….now what color of shoes can I wear with this? A yellow one too? Nah, I don’t like to get a yellow shoe at the moment, too much shopping already, harhar.
This is Isha’s new school bag, when she saw this she went gaga over it. And why not, it’s just a beauty! Baby, can I borrow it some time? We actually share bags, so we don’t really feel guilty when we keep on buying, hehe. The same goes with shoes ^_^ . The nice thing about having a teenage daughter, she loves shopping too, so I’m not alone, bweeeehhhh!
And it’s not only us who shopped for bags…of course he wouldn’t want to be left behind…he wants to own one of the latest golf bags he found online. So does that make our purchase justified? Tell me!

This is what I really need right now. This will be a very big help to our helpers especially when they clean the house. It’s not a joke to clean the house, it can be very tiring. By getting this utility cart, I will be able to lessen the load of cleaning, as everything they need is already there. They don’t need to go back and forth to the storage, because this utility card can hold almost all they need for cleaning.

Our driver called to inform us that he can’t come today because he had sore eyes. Whenever he’s not around, I take his place bringing and waiting for the kids in school together with their yaya (nanny). Nelson fetched me in school at about 11:00, he wanted me to accompany him to Greenhills and to have lunch at Bangus Restaurant, and pay our mobile phone bills. And what else do you do when you are in Greenhills? Of course, shopping! He did his share of shopping, buying 4 pairs of jeans. He saw me eyeing this cutie silver bag, well I was just admiring it really but did not have intentions of buying it. But when he paid for the stuffs he bought, he also paid for the bag without asking me if I wanted it. Maybe it was all painted in my face that I really really like it, hehe! Thank You Sweet!

When we usually visit homes of our friends, the first things I look at are their driveways. I believe that the driveway is a part of the house and should not be taken for granted. I’m now laughing at myself how primitive I can get ^_^ . Did you know that whenever I open boxes sent to us by my sisters in the US, I use a kitchen knife? Sometimes I would use an ordinary cutter, but then the blade breaks off easily, and that’s when I started using a kitchen knife. I know it is not advisable and safe to use a kitchen knife, so from now on I’m going to use box cutters made by martorusa.com. Their box cutters are safe to use because of the safety spring they placed which provides for automatic blade shoot back into the handle. This is what I really need, since sometimes due to excitement, my movement is uncontrollable. I don’t want to hurt myself because of my irresponsibility of not using the right box opener. Nobody in the family plays golf, but I have some friends who do, and they say it’s very relaxing. We even have a friend who has long been convincing us to join them when they play golf. We actually haven’t given it some thought, but due to this friend’s insistence my husband is now considering it. He has done some basics in the past with his friend, and he says it’s not a bad idea. If and when he decides, then I won’t have hard time looking for golf clubs and other gadgets needed to play the game. Lookie! I have quite a number of “jibbitz” already. There’s actually 3 original jibbitz which I bought from the crocs store at 150 Php each, 4 from skechers at 75 Php each, and the rest are knockoffs at 3 for 100 Php. There’s actually not much difference at all. I bought the knockoffs from my friend who has a shop in Greenhills, and I guess she gave it to me at a discounted price. Yay! Even my mary jane is hip!

As I have mentioned in some of my posts, it’s still in the wishlist of my kids to visit Disney World someday. Even though they had so much fun in both Disneyland LA and Hong Kong, they can’t seem to get enough of it. Whenever they hear the word Disney, they become excited and would always say, “Mom, let’s go there!”
On both our trips to Disneyland LA and Hong Kong, we already bought tickets prior to going there. You know why? It saves you a lot of time, not having to fall in line, sometimes the queue can take like two hours of your time and it’s horrible. Plus the kids getting giddy and all because of the excitement. So I am very thankful to the person who advised us to buy tickets in advance, our visit to this amusement park was a lot hassle free. If you have plans just like us of visiting Disney World in Florida, then we should consider getting Disney World Tickets in advance. It’s the start of the “ber” months, and usually people start counting the days before Christmas. It means stocking up on gifts to loved ones and friends. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years already because I don’t want to experience getting into the christmas rush which can be very stressful. I usually email my sister in the States for some stuffs I want, since most of the items I want are from shops in the US, and they don’t normally ship outside the US. My kids always prefer clothes from Old Navy, good thing there are Old Navy Coupons available, so I might as well ask my sister to use it.
