Remember this entry? I was short of jumping with joy when I got a big discount from the shop in Greenhills where I bought it. And what do you know? Golly I found it in one of the shops in 168 Mall at Divisoria for only 500php. I felt really bad even if I got a huge discount. So if you guys want to have that pretty candle holder, go to 168 Mall. It’s located at the 2nd floor, right beside the escalator on your left side. There are a lot more items you can find there.

Yep, that is what I want for Christmas! I don’t have a personalized pendant yet, ok ok, I actually lost my personalized pendant, good thing it did not have diamonds on it, if not I’m gonna cry a river. Isn’t it cute? You can actually find more diamond pendants at mysolitaire.com. Geez everything there is beautiful and I want it all, lol. I just accompanied N to the mall this afternoon to buy a cellphone. I’ve been eyeing this unit (Motorolla V3i) since Saturday when I accompanied a friend also to scout for a new unit. We were supposed to buy it on the 30th, but since I was already at the mall today, I decided to buy it instead. When I was about to pay for it, N said that he’ll get it for me and that would be his early christmas present. Darn! Had I known, I should have chosen the Motorolla V8 instead…lol. I’m happy with my latest toy, nah it’s not expensive and I got it at a really good deal. It’s sleek and a challenge too, it’s totally different from the 2 units that I use. Hhhmmm, it’s a matter of getting used to the new navigation, I’m not too old to learn, but it’s mentally challenging, haha, just kidding!

There was a time when Ish and I went gaga over military clothing. We bought a camouflage tee, skirt and pants, and up until now, we still get to wear it. I also bought a camouflage shirt for Josh. On the other hand, my husband N bought a camouflage jacket which he wears whenever we watch a movie. That’s how we love military-like clothing.

I don’t really mind buying a pre-owned rolex watch. As long as I know it’s authentic then why not! I consider it smart buying, since I can save a lot. But of course I will be buying it from a reputable company, a company that offers only the highest quality merchandise.
If given the choice, I’d rather own an estate jewelry. I don’t know, but I’m quite fascinated with old pieces. I remember my father-in-law mention one time, that jewelries made in the past are really of good quality. They have better stones. I also like the antique look of an estate jewelry.
Now if you in turn want to sell jewelry or thinking of consigning it, I also recommend that you find a reputable company or individual. It’s hard finding someone you can trust nowadays.

I just don’t understand why this big hardware that we normally frequent do not have cantilever racks up until now. They are not after the welfare and safety of their workers. They are not aware that this can cause the life of their employees. Since they thought of putting up that kind of business, I don’t get it why they didn’t have those racks in the first place. It helps in organizing their stuffs for easy storage. All hardwares should have this in their warehouses.

This is what my darling doll Ish ordered when I went to 168 Mall. She wanted some headbands in metallic colors. “Mom buy me every metallic headband that you see. I got each for 25 pesos ($.60) only, yay what a bargain. Now she goes to school wearing it and she can get to change colors everyday. She has quite a collection already, I don’t know why shes fond of those. Ah girls! They love all those girlie stuffs, if only she can get a hand on all those girlie stuffs she finds in the mall, then her room will be full of it.

Beyonce had her concert here in the Philippines last night. Darn, we were not able to watch. We could have used the Binoculars bought by N. I requested him to buy one for us since we can’t afford to buy front seat tickets to international stars’ concerts. I remember watching Avril’s concert and we could hardly see her. At that time we didn’t have binoculars yet. And it’s just too bad. And now here comes Beyonce’s concert, a binocular, and yet we missed the chance. Oh well, that’s life!

I’ve always admired designs that could be created out of wrought iron. It’s fancy! I like how the iron is twisted to create a beautiful ornamental design. Take for example this curtain rods, it would really create a beautiful effect in our homes. I particularly like these two, the Pine Cone rod, and the Moose & Pine Tree rod which can be used during the holidays to go with the Christmas atmosphere we have at our homes. Having these kind of rods at home is low maintenance compared to the usual brass we have. I use to have a brass rod at home and it needs to be wiped every now and then to maintain its color. I even caught my helper frown when I asked her to clean it. And why not, she has to put down the heavy curtains in order to clean it. Maybe it’s a heavy task for her. But with wrought iron rods, you won’t be seeing frowning faces ^_^. Aside from being low maintenance, it’s ornamental designs are really appealing. It’s going to add more beauty to our homes.

I can just laugh at myself now for attempting to do a DIY Roman Shades. Gosh it’s harder than I figured, but at least I tried. Nope I was not successful in doing it, my husband was even laughing at me and telling me “why are you giving yourself a headache when you can just buy or have it made?”
I’m envious whenever I visit a house with roman shades hanging in their windows. I’ve been telling myself, I want that in my house too. Here’s another pretty dress I bought at 168. I am really funny, after declaring that I am a rehabilitated shopaholic, here I am posting my cheap but pretty shopping find. Well I just can’t resist buying this. Imagine at 480 pesos ($11), who wouldn’t be tempted to buy it, right? And it matches the peep toe sent by my sister. Hmmmm come to think of it, maybe that’s the reason why I was lured into buying this dress, there is a pair of peep toe waiting to be matched.

We don’t own a high definition television yet, but would love to have one in the near future. I remember saving for it years back, but more important things came up so the funds for it was diverted, furniture for our new house that is. Now, we can start saving again for that. And lucky us, prices for high definition television has gone down quite a bit. Maybe we can consider buying westinghouse HDTV, I think it’s a good brand, a brand that I grew up with. I’ve been browsing the website and I’d love to have that 47″ LCD Flat-Panel HDTV, it’s just a beauty. What about you? Do you have HDTV in your homes?
