It’s the time of the year again. I’ve done most of my Christmas shopping already and I need a few more to complete it. I hope to finish it before everyone else rushes to the malls. I can’t imagine falling in line for ages just to pay. It’s a good thing this barcode scanner was introduced. It can reduce your time at the cashier by half or even more. Whoever thought of this is a genius. I don’t think I can go to a mall with a cashier doing stuff manually, I just don’t have all the time to wait. We’re all busy, you know.

The husband is back at the range. He actually forgot about it for some time because he got interested in some other things. Now that he’s back at the range, I see some rifle scopes catalogs at home. He actually orders them online after choosing from the catalogs. I wonder where he got those catalogs. Maybe some online store sent it to him so that he can choose from the catalog. He mentioned that he still needs one scope for the daughter, yes he wants his children to love what he is doing, thus he introduces stuff to them.

She walked inside the shoe store. I noticed her shoes. I wanted to ask her where she bought it but I had 2nd thoughts, sometimes they don’t understand English. What I did was search high and low. Every shoe store I pass, I peep. No luck, all 5 floors. But hey luck was on my side the next day. I walked inside a store not expecting to find it there. Lo and behold it was there, my heart jumped with excitement. I didn’t only find one but 3 more pairs which I really really love. I think I’m more of a shoe lady, but wait, I think a bag lady too. Why can’t I get enough?

I got that for my daughter at Payless in Megamall. I’m used to buying her 6.5 but surprisingly she is a size 6. I need to return it on Sunday because of the 7 day return policy. Good thing we go to church at CCF so it’s not much of a hassle. When daughter learned about it, she went to the website and found a pair that she likes. Hopefully she finds it in the store. What’s nice about the shops being brought here from the US is that they have whatever current stocks they have in the US. It wasn’t like that before. They used to send items that were not sold in the US, so that means items from 2 years back, sucks right? But that is no longer the case now, well at least for Forever21 and Payless.

Women in general love shopping. I do and I think I have passed it on to my daughter. She loves all things beautiful. I think we have the same tastes for clothing, although she calls my stuff mommy clothes. When I was her age, I had the same style. I normally shop for her now, and so far she likes all the stuff I pick for her. I’m going to show her this website that I discovered that sells urban clothing, I am 100 percent sure that she’ll love most of the clothes there. I too have found a lot of perfect clothes for what my daughter calls mommy clothes, yeah she calls my clothes mommy clothes and yet she borrows some of it, haha kidding!

Am I really gonna wear this? Or is it just what most female call retail therapy when they feel grey? Seems like the later, unless I wear it at home while doing the cooking, I wish I can say while doing the laundry, LOL. Seriously I don’t know if I will ever have a chance to wear it. Like most of you know by now, I really do not go out much. Normally I go out with the family to watch a movie or to have lunch or dinner. Hmmm, maybe I should start going out again with friends.

Our eyes grew big, followed by a loud scream, I said Issssshhhh, and she said “Mooooommm! Yeah we saw our favorite word sale. I think most of us love seeing this word, and we get excited whenever we see it at the windows. Come on admit it! Honestly it is only during this time that I really get to buy. That is why we get giddy whenever we see it, it’s like calling us, here, here, grab while supplies last.

I wasn’t really interested in gift card until I knew the value of it. Funny that when you get to see my wallet, it’s overloaded with different gift cards. As much as possible in every store that I go to, I see to it that I have their gift cards. Come to think of it, the perks both the owner and the customers get from it is something. On the part of the owners, it will help boost their sales. Now on the part of the consumers, it will entail savings when they use it. Ah, now I know why such stores give out gift cards, it’s both beneficial to the owners and their customers.

What’s with shoes anyway? I can’t get enough of them. I think every girl goes through this. Is it safe to say that there is something wrong with a girl if she only has a pair? Tell me! Anyway let me show you these women’s shoes I found online. There is a sale going on, yep the magic word. My daughter would go gaga if she sees the word SALE, actually both of us, haha. The word sale is really very inviting. You know what I get most of my stuff from sale items I find whether online or not. It saved me a lot of money.

It’s Christmas and most of us have extra moolah to shop, woohoo! Most of us wish for new computers, what kind, we still don’t have any idea more or less. Why don’t you check out this Laptop Buying Guide before deciding on which one to purchase. Like me, I have a very basic knowledge about computer specifications, and by reading the guide, I began to understand little by little. Now I don’t need to consult the hubs. Can I say that I can now decide for myself? Definitely yes!
Oh, I am not buying a laptop now. Mine is still working and it’s a year old only. But definitely I am eyeing this stuff from the Arts and Crafts page of shopwiki.com. I’m talking about knitting stuff. There are great pattern books and knitting supplies. I need those stuff if I want to do more with my knitting.

Would you believe I still have my old nokia phone which I bought like 5 years ago? It’s still working, and in perfect shape. It’s actually a spare phone anyone can use. There was a time I got really worried, because the Cell Phone Battery was acting up. This is probably due to the fact that it has been with me for a long time. And not only that, cell phone batteries have different battery life. When I checked on the battery, it was a NiCad and this kind of battery has the shortest battery life. You see, due to excitement of having a cell phone, most often than not I charge it before the battery gets drained. I don’t want the battery to die on me in the middle of nowhere. Of course I am expected to be contacted anytime so that is the reason why I charge it. Now the problem is, this kind of battery is very hard to find already. There are a few shops who sell these kind of Cell Phone Batteries. The hubs suggested for me to buy even just one anyway it’s not that expensive. He says it’s worth buying an extra battery since that old old cell phone belongs to the 6 series of Nokia which is considered one of the best series. He has a point. Imagine up until now the cell phone still works. It’s really durable. I just hope that I won’t have to worry about purchasing a battery for it in the future.

It’s really nice if you have this home theater seating in your own home theaters. Probably you won’t be going to cinemas anymore because you find watching in your own homes more relaxing. It’s like being in a cinema, or even better. With the never ending gas hike, it’s actually better staying at home. It would be a plus though if you are seated in the most comfy chair while watching your favorite movie or soap or game show. Put some popcorn in the microwave, and voila, instant cinema atmosphere! That’s one of my frustrations though, because up until now we have not started setting up our home theater.

These are the kind of bathroom faucets we have at home. What so funny is that when someone uses the bathroom, they would often call for the household help and ask them how the faucets work. If you are not used to these kinds of faucet, you really wouldn’t know how to turn it on. I didn’t grow up with this kind of faucets, the bathroom faucets we used to have were more simple, like you just turn the knob. What I like about the bathroom faucets now is the style. I can say I am at my best when it comes to shopping, not that I shop a lot nowadays. I don’t know if you still remember that I now consider myself a rehabilitated shopaholic. But the passion for shopping is not lost mind you. I now do the shopping for everyone if I may say, by suggesting to them stuff, both on regular prices and on sale (actually more on the sale side). I pride myself in finding good deals online. This is what I get for being an internet junkie. Yes I spend too much time on the internet looking for the extra-ordinary. And usually luck is always on my side since I really find good deals. Take for example www.black-friday.net. This is a website dedicated to Black Friday. If you are not familiar with Black Friday, this is the day after Thanksgiving where major retailers give out unbelievable discounts. The shops are all full. People start to line up at 3 in the morning or even earlier just to be the first in line to get to the stores. My sisters have experienced this and they say it’s no fun. Well at some point it is, but when muscle pains kick in you swear you shouldn’t have gone in the first place. Well I have some good news for you. You don’t need to do all this because you can get stuffs online. At black-friday.net, you get to see all the items on sale before everyone else. They do direct links to each product so there is no need for you to fall in line in the stores. This is the best time to stock for Christmas.

I will be needing this low vision aidsanytime soon. Really I am not kidding. I started using reading glasses before I reached 40. Blame it on those craft stuff, I was fond of them and I haven’t been wearing my glasses whenever I do them. I don’t know if there is a connection or not, but what I know is, I’m gonna need a pocket magnifier anytime soon. For now let’s just say that I’ll just settle for everything big, one that will allow me to see clearly.

My son has a cousin who plays the drum very well. We have not actually seen him perform yet, but according to those people who have witnessed him play, he is really good, and he’s just about 8 or 9 years old. I’m just guessing here, I have a feeling that when my son sees him play, I bet he too will be interested. How I wish I live in the US so I can avail of the discount shopping for musical instruments from Musicians Friend, Guitar Center and Music 123. How I wish indeed, but we are talking about a drum set here. Hmmm, I’m not that sad really because I found some great online deals from bestonlinecoupons.com, the same website that offers discount coupons from Musicians Friend. I will just email my sisters and they are going to get it for me. They send us a box regularly so there’s no problem with that. I was eyeing an item at Armani and good thing I found the online deal which I have been waiting for. You know how pricey Armani brand is, so I’m very lucky that I was able to find a great deal. There are a lot more items I want, so I’m jumping with joy everytime I discover online deals. Take for example this Saks Fifth Avenue Coupons which I can use. Since N does not allow me to travel anywhere out of the country without him, I decided to spend my earnings buying this messenger bag. It was very timely dropping by the Gucci Shop at Greenbelt, they offering 20 percent off on some items until March. Luckily that messenger bag was included. See it’s mine to own, I wouldn’t buy it at it’s original price, I just can’t afford it. I am really happy with my purchase, now I have something chic to use during work. I don’t need to let my assistant carry my kinda big sling bag for me. It’s time for the Anna Sui to take a back seat ^_^.

I am impressed whenever I enter an office with contemporary office furniture. It gives me the feeling that the person behind the desk is someone who means business. I think you all know by now how N is really very particular about our vehicles. He really sees to it that it’s clean not only on the outside but the inside as well. He has trained our driver to have an eye for cleanliness. He always reminds our driver to clean both the exterior and the interior of the vehicles. He used to bring our vehicles to an auto detailing shop every once in a while because sometimes he is not that satisfied on how the driver cleans it. But you see it’s really expensive to bring our cars to the shop, so he thought of buying auto care products. He says that it’s a matter of teaching our driver how to use it.

Our pickup truck will be sent to the shop for a major repair anytime soon. It will be restored to what it used to be before it was used to carry heavy loads for the construction work of my FIL. It used to be really nice, one that can compete for an auto show. Now hubby will try to bring back how it looked like. First would be a full body painting, a few minor repairs on some parts, after which it will look as good as new. Hubby says that instead of me using my Jimny, it would be better for me to use the pickup truck now. He’s like thinking of my protection more than anything else. My next step would be to buy car covers for the pickup and Jimny. I see the need now ever since we moved to this house. The house where we are staying now is located near the highway. And since it is a very busy road, I noticed that the dust accumulated in our cars has doubled. I need a dustop cover to protect the paint of the cars. I hate to see scratches and hubby is really very particular about that too. Our driver already developed this habit of telling him about the scratches that he sees after he has cleaned all the cars. I think it’s the dustop that I need since our garage is covered.

I read in Jen’s blog that VMV had a sale sometime before Christmas at Trinoma. But when I read it, it was on it’s last day already. I didn’t have the time to go there to buy my “special” toothpaste (hypoallergenic). I was advised by the dermatologist at the House of Obagi to shift toothpaste because of the zits that constantly appear around my mouth area. I was happy to learn of the sale because that special toothpaste is very expensive. It costs 399.95 pesos a tube, not a big tube but a smaller one. When I went to Trinoma on the 23rd of December, I checked if it was still on sale. Oh yes, it was. They brought back the sale which started on the 23rd and that was for a week. I bought 3 tubes and I was able to save 300 pesos. Wahoo! Thanks Jen for the tip!
