Homeschooling

Posted by girlie on December 11, 2009

I have a lot of friends whose children are all homeschooled. Oh the children of my cousin too, they all did homeschooling and look where they are now. The older kids are successful in their own chosen field and they excel. Honestly I never gave homeschooling a thought when the kids were about to start school. But looking at my cousin’s children, all my negative thoughts about homeschooling was erased. No wonder it has gotten popular nowadays, as I’ve said I have a lot of friends who do homeschooling. It’s quality education, sometimes I cannot help but think that this is even better than the regular school where they have poor teachers. Let’s face it, the quality of education sometimes goes down because of unqualified teachers.

Anyway I browsed their curriculum and I noticed that the lessons promote reading. I like the idea. I have a daughter who loves reading and I love what has become of her because of her love for reading. She is very articulate and she has the ability of analyze. Before I forget to mention, their curriculum is customizable, interactive and flexible. Meaning you get to pick the subjects appropriate to your grade level. Now another thing, you can check their curriculum online, and it’s available 24/7. Did I tell you that homeschooling is more affordable than the regular school? It’s because they take into consideration the difficult times we have now. Of course they think that education is really important, and it can be delivered right at your “doorsteps.”

Online Education

This is a great opportunity to further one’s studies. Are you thinking of going back to school probably for a master’s, bachelor’s or doctoral degree? If you don’t have the time to be physically present in a classroom set up, then you have to consider this online university. Distance learning is very much in nowadays. You can access your online course at any time of the day using the internet connection. This works well with people who need to have jobs and at the same time have the desire to study. Before I forget, while I was going through their website, I found out that they have financial aid options for those ones who can’t pretty much afford to go back to school. Check it out, who knows this can help you solve your problem.
