Both my kids got into music, well at least they tried. My eldest chose the guitar, while my youngest picked the violin. Due to lack of time, they never really got into it. I am sure though that one of these days they will go back to it. I wonder if my boy would ask me to purchase an Ibanez Bass, since it’s really him who is so much interested for now. I wouldn’t question that, I’d rather have him go into music than anywhere else. This is the reason why I support my children when it comes to music. Well not only that, it’s probably because I was into music too in my younger days, and I got the support of my parents.

My daughter would be excited if I tell her about this website that allows you to download as much music from their track catalogue. She’s really fond of music and her brother is starting to appreciate music too. Whenever I see her sitting in front of her laptop, it’s either she’s downloading some music, or singing to the tunes she has saved. I can say that they are addicted to music. The titles that they can’t find in the internet, they will ask me to buy the CD. I can let her use the Free 7 Day Trial so she can take a glimpse of all the tracks there is. I bet she would go gaga over the titles she would find. With over 1.5 million in their track catalogue, I’m sure she can get all the music she can have. Good thing she has a 16 gig iPhone where she can store all the music she can download. How about you? I challenge you to try the Free 7 Day Trial and download as much music as you can. Oh before I forget, let me mention that this website is fully legal and endorsed by major music companies such as Sony BMG, EMI, Universal, etc. Everything you download is of CD quality. So are you ready to take the Free 7 Day Trial challenge? Download as much music as you can handle. All these at altnet.com. And yeah, I wanna find out how many you have downloaded.

Oh my gosh, am I barbaric or what? This is my first time to hear about HD Radio. And just what exactly is is HD Radio? It enables AM and FM Radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally. AM radio would sound more like an FM radio, FM radio would now have a CD quality sound. Now how does that sound to you? All you need to have is a Polk Audio I-sonic ES2 which allows you to do iPod Tagging. When you hear a nice tune over at your hd radio, all you need to do is press on the tag button and the song’s info will be saved. There’s actually more you can do with HD radio. There are new country music stations available and don’t forget to tune in to Florida High Definition Radio stations. This is the newest way to listen to music. There are a lot more new channels you can play, something that you want to listen to.

The kids are now in the stage that they go for rock and hip hop kind of music. I hear a lot of those here in the house, and if you scan their iPods, they have a lot of hip hop music. I actually find hip hop music cool and if you scan my iPod and the music I have stored in this laptop, you’ll be surprised to see that I have a lot of them too. For now I just hum when I listen to it mostly, all because I don’t know the lyrics. It would be wonderful to be able to sing it word per word since I found a site that provides Hip Hop Lyrics. My kids would be awed when they hear me sing with their music, and I only have one thing to say, I am a HiPnCoolMomma you know.

Whoa! Her first album came out the year I was born. It’s been what, 4 decades? And I can say she’s been controversial for the past 4 decades too. I came to know her music in the late 70s and enjoyed it through the years. Now do you know who I am talking about? It’s CHER, one of the most popular female artists in music history, if you still don’t know. And oh, she’s also one of the biggest selling artists of all time. And we’re talking about selling 175 million records worldwide. She really became big. Her career may be on a standstill for some time, but she just has her way of going back to the charts with her songs. What made her big is really her versatility as an artist. She was not only a singer, but she also went into acting. She won an Academy Award at the Oscars for her performance in Moonstruck.
Cher continues to rise, as a solo recording artists, her songs always made it to the top in the billboards. By the late 90s, she was ruling the American Top 40. And this makes her the oldest female to hit the top spot. Not only that, she also owns the longest Billboard chart span of any recording artist. Now you have a chance to watch her in Las Vegas at the 4,100-seat Colloseum, Ceasars Palace. Order Cher tickets for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas now. This is your chance to watch the indestructible diva. The show debuts on May 6, 2008. Truly, CHER rocks our world!

We went to watch her at the SMX, the new convention center at Mall of Asia. We found out about it only a day before the show. We hurriedly went to MOA to buy tickets, we couldn’t let this opportunity pass, watching Lani Misalucha live! The P3000 ticket was worth it, although I couldn’t see much of her. I just closed my eyes, occasionally looking at her on the stage or at the video wall and just enjoyed her beautiful music. I’ve watched a couple of singers, but none as good as her. She was really great, to think she had cough and colds that night, but still she belted it out! Again I say, it was really really WORTH it!
N worked with her some few years back when she was just starting. Although she had completely forgotten his name, she recognized him when we went backstage. We were one of the few whom she obligingly posed, and I am very lucky to have my picture taken with a world class singer, really a total PERFORMER!

Your cubicle might be where you have to do all of your work, but if you’re anything like me then you know that’s it’s not always the best place for focusing on what you’re working on. Whether it’s the guy in the next cubicle with a cold, the girl across from you that thinks the person on the phone is hilarious, or your boss behind you yelling at somebody else, there are tons of distractions at work. Fortunately you can avoid all those distractions with some noise reduction headphones from Quiet Headphones and your favorite music. With the earphones that you’ll get from Quiet Headphones you’ll be able to increase your productivity and enjoy your favorite tunes at the same time. Before you know it, you’re boss will be talking to you, but he won’t be yelling. See if I’m not right. And if you are thinking about traveling, then the travel headphones will be perfect for keeping out the noise, letting you enjoy the trip.

I find reggae music cool, it’s fun and I love the beat it gives. It’s kinda carefree and I can listen to it again and again, I can even dance to the beat! And this what I did the whole time I was in front of my laptop. You see I came across unsigned.com, and they have quite a number of reggae artists. I tried to listen to all the featured artists, and I pretty much enjoyed. In fact I’m still listening to it while doing this entry. I enjoyed listening to different genres, acoustic and R&B being a favorite. These unsigned artists are pretty good huh, and can compete with popular singers who already have records to their names.
What I actually like with unsigned.com is that they give aspiring singers the chance to be heard globally. All they need to do is register and upload their songs and it’s for free. Isn’t this cool? Imagine you get other people to listen to you music and you even have a chance to earn and it’s all for free. So calling all independent solo, duet and trio artist, and also independent bands, now is your chance to be heard, not only by people you know, but people worldwide. Let them discover your music, your talent and your beautiful singing voice, who knows this will be your road to fame!
