A Special Mother’s Day

Posted by girlie on May 13, 2011

Photobucket I got to ride Space Mountain on my 3rd visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. The kids wanted Mother’s Day to be memorable that’s why they insisted that I conquer my fear. I was like uhhmm ok whatever! Little did they know that I was really a scaredy cat. I didn’t show it to them instead I kept on talking only to forget about my fears. Then it was our turn. I didn’t have any hesitations whatever. I thought why not enjoy the ride, after all there were senior citizens who took the ride and they survived and they looked like they had fun. Now I can understand the happy faces of the people, it was an awesome ride! It wasn’t as bad as I thought, and yes you can let me ride again….talking about conquered fear on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day

I got hugs and kisses from the son. I got 2 colors of nail polish and when applied gives a crack effect. Oh yes, my kids are thoughtful and loving. I am just glad that I have taught them well just as how we were all taught.

Here’s how we spent our day. We attended the 10 am worship service at CCF (Megamall), dropped by Animal House to buy chew toys for Pepper (newest member of the family), went to my Mom’s house to have lunch and celebrate Mom’s Day with them and finally dinner at Kimpura in Trinoma to celebrate with the in-laws. Got my fro-yo craving too at Red Mango. See, I am a happy Momma, got everything I wanted, nothing really grand (material). The most important thing to me is that I am loved and respected by my children.

Photobucket That’s my Mom in the middle, with her friends at church.

It was a hectic Mother’s Day for me. First stop was of course at the church. We attended the church service and the kids from Sunday School rendered a touching song dedicated to mothers. Mom’s were given candles too by their kids. We had lunch over at Mom’s. I brought pancit for them. We had a very nice lunch (it happens every Sunday actually) when we go and visit them. Dinner was at chinese restaurant to pay tribute to the MIL.
