Attended aerobics class last night. To my surprise I was able to catch up with the routine. I can now blend with the other students. I was really slow before, my feet entangled coz I can’t do it. I was slow. But after 7 sessions, woohoo I did it! I’m more in love with aerobics now. I made friends too!

Nah, I am not addicted at all! I just love to stare at them. Ahem! Seriously I just can’t get enough of bottles and bottles of nail polish. Good thing they are not really that expensive, they are dirt cheap! Most of them cost only P10 (20 cents), small bottles though but still. As you can see, I almost have all the colors. What’s next to it? Nail art of course! Yep I do my own nail art, a bit messy when it comes to my right fingers but I’m improving.
That’s my bluer than blue version. It’s a random design that I thought of, I wish I was more artistic and not copy designs from my nail art book. But meantime, lemme just be a copycat!

Noticed the curly hair? I had it done at Vivo City, haha. It’s just temporary and only in front. I don’t know but sometimes I just go for curly hair, no this time I don’t want it permanent but the wash and wear type of curls. My hair is too short to be able to curl it by myself unless it’s ok for me to get burned. I tried it on my daughter when we attended a party on Sunday and she loved the small curls I made on her hair. I wanna try again and again doing it to myself even if my hair is still short coz I love what it did to my frame. The gadget came with gloves, so I think it’s just a matter of perfecting it.

I wasn’t feeling well yesterday. I had muscle pain all over. When I cough, my back hurts really bad. I decided to go for a massage. I decided to try Thai massage, actually a first for me. I haven’t been to the spa for a hundred years already, and this is such a welcome treat. At first I wasn’t really relaxed, I was anticipating Christine’s every move. She noticed it coz every time she did her thing, I was stiff (maybe like a dead person). It didn’t help that the a/c was too strong. Anyways, after about 15 minutes, I started relaxing and enjoying the massage. I think I’m going to go for a thai massage at least once a week. It won’t hurt my pocket since it’s very affordable…it’s even worth more than the P300 I’m paying.

I know I’m addicted…I always bring it with me. Like last Thursday when we went to Greenhills to accompany hubby to a client call, this is what I did, over a cup of ice cream. I had to get some ice cream because I couldn’t sit in the cafe without getting something. I was able to add a few layers, now it looks like a bag already even without the handle. I don’t know when I will be able to finish this project since I started going into knitting. I find it more fun to knit, probably because I am new to it. So now you know why I got lots and lots of yarns. My first knitting project would be a scarf. I know I can’t use it here. But this is the easiest for a novice like me. I can always give it away anytime you know.

We went to watch her at the SMX, the new convention center at Mall of Asia. We found out about it only a day before the show. We hurriedly went to MOA to buy tickets, we couldn’t let this opportunity pass, watching Lani Misalucha live! The P3000 ticket was worth it, although I couldn’t see much of her. I just closed my eyes, occasionally looking at her on the stage or at the video wall and just enjoyed her beautiful music. I’ve watched a couple of singers, but none as good as her. She was really great, to think she had cough and colds that night, but still she belted it out! Again I say, it was really really WORTH it!
N worked with her some few years back when she was just starting. Although she had completely forgotten his name, she recognized him when we went backstage. We were one of the few whom she obligingly posed, and I am very lucky to have my picture taken with a world class singer, really a total PERFORMER!

Moi, Atchi Leah, Atchi Arlene, Aleli and Charity
They are my first cousins. Our cousins day started last year but there was just four of us. But this year we were five. Charity spent the holidays here in the Philippines. She is a registered nurse based in Georgia. We had lunch at Abe in Serendra. The food was really good. Now I understand why the restaurant is always full. It’s like if you want to have a table, it’s either you call early and have a reservation or go there early. We were there at 11 in the morning and we were the first customer. Then we had coffee at Starbucks. Too bad we can’t spend the whole day enjoying each other’s company, but we had so much fun really.

Chairman Vanidosa finally had the time to chill out with me. But while with me, she still received a lot of text messages and calls pertaining to her being chairman. We had lunch at Teriyaki Boy (her favorite) and stuffed ourselves with japanese food. Had coffee at starbucks to continue with her mathematics ^_^. We then went shopping for a few items. It was a fun filled afternoon, a very nice way to bond with us Moms and our daughter.
She bought a bag hanger for herself but did not forget to get her bff as well. Thanks Cuz for being generous all the time. Hope we do this again after New Year.

This is what I did with my darling boy Josh the past long weekend. We spent some time playing the Time Crisis and just enjoyed ourselves to the max. He was the first to choose a gun, leaving me with the inferior one =( I didn’t really mind at all since he is the expert in this game. Too bad his teevee is kinda small and it was kinda difficult to see and hit. Haha, excuses! This is one of our favorite games when we go to Timezone. So instead of spending a lot just to be able to finish the game, we thought of buying the game and just let him play at home. It’s pretty cool! A nice way to de-stress. You know just bang! bang! bang! your woes away, harhar.

Obagi Nu-Derm Transformation System:
Foaming Gel (Cleanser) 6.7 fl oz
Toner 6.7 fl oz
Clear 2.0 oz (Rx only)
Exfoderm Forte 2.0 oz
Blender 2.0 oz (Rx only)
Sunfader 2.0 oz (Rx only)
Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35 1.0 fl oz
For the last couple of months, I’ve been contemplating on using the Obagi Nu-Derm Transformation System. It was actually the price that has been keeping me from trying it. But now that I have extra moolah, the decision came fast ^_^. I’ve seen how effective it is and I’m encouraged to try it out as early as now. N even mentioned that it is a lot cheaper compared to cosmetic surgery. Woohoo, I have his permission to use it =) I’m quite excited about the idea, I already asked a friend of my MIL to buy it for me in Singapore. Yeah it’s a lot cheaper there, I think I will be able to save something like 2,000 pesos. If she gets our sms, I’m gonna get the product by thursday or friday this week. Wish me luck, I hope I will be able to get the rejuvination I soooo need.

Today we went to the mall to have our monthly facial. Yipee, it’s now a regular thing. The same lady did my face, and I really like her a lot. She has a good disposition and a happy aura. Imagine getting a stressout lady, haha, then it’s gonna be my last facial ^_^. Until now I still can’t bear the pain when she starts pricking, but it is compensated by the facial massage she gives me, gosh it’s heavenly, I feel more relax than ever. I had my humungous pimple injected too. This is the first time that I had this, yes it’s really big and kinda swollen. I hope it will be gone by tomorrow, if not I’m gonna have it injected again.

I just got back from Subic. Yes, same venue (The Lighthouse) for a pre-nuptial shoot. Nope I didn’t not actually work but N wanted me to tag along, so I did. Well I have another agenda why I came too. I wanted to buy some stuffs at the nearby duty free shops. We didn’t have time shop the last time we were there because of work. And today I thought we won’t make it again to the shops. We got to Subic at around 2:20 and N was in a hurry to go straight to the venue. I was kinda pissed off because part of the reason I joined them was to go and buy stuffs in Duty Free. Good thing it rained a bit and we didn’t have any other choice but to pack up. Well they’ve had enough shots I guess, so we called it a day. We made it to Royal Duty Free and I was able to pick up some stuffs, weeeeee! I’m now happy!

If you noticed, the gray is showing and it’s kinda disgusting! It doesn’t look neat! I finally found the time to DIY again ^_^. I’ve been doing my own hair color for quite some time now. Yes I may have some hair disasters, but that does not stop me from DIY stuff. Well aside from the great savings, the salon I go to do not offer ammonia free hair color. I can’t afford to abuse my crowning glory some more, with all the ironing and stuff. Yes, I am successful, no grays anymore. WOOHOO!

I may look like I have Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) by creating my own fashion blog and me as the model ^_^. But did you know that this is my way of DeStressing myself and of course to let the whole world know that even at 40+ we can still enjoy dressing up. I’ve seen a lot of Moms who have forgotten to at least look “good”. They have forgotten about themselves and started focusing on other things like family. I’m not saying that focusing on the family is not good, but well at least try to balance it and have some time for ourselves. Dressing up makes me feel good thus maintaining my self confidence. Whether you’re a size 0 or a 10 does not make any difference at all. It’s a matter of how you carry yourself and feel confident about how you look.

I feel more relaxed now, goodbye to all those body aches. Today, me and the kids went to Ace Water Spa. It’s just a few minutes away from where we stay. The feeling is really overwhelming. It’s actually my first to try it, although I have been bringing them there but I was always at the reception hall. Now I’m quite addicted to it already, I’m already thinking of the day when I can go back and just enjoy hydrotherapy. Hhhhmmmm.

Sem Break started yesterday for the kids. It’s going to be a week long vacation. We planned to go to Subic today, but some things came up so the plan was ditched. Too bad, everyone was already excited. I know you’d say what about the other days of the week. Well my answer is I don’t think so, unless we want to be caught in a jam. Yes, there will be a lot of people who will be going home to the province to remember their dead relatives. We already experienced going out of town on those dates, and I swear we will never do it again. Half of the time was wasted on travelling.
Now I have to think of another plan. Oh maybe we can go swimming at the nearby Ace Water Spa. I have not tried it, but my kids have, a couple of times already. Yeah I think that’s it, we will go swimming tomorrow!

CONGRATULATIONS to my beloved Cuz Marie for winning in the just concluded Barangay elections. GO CHAIRMAN! Wahoo!
Posted by girlie on October 27, 2007
I went to the house of Cuz today to show support in her candidacy, this is the last day of the campaign period. It was fun walking in the street, taking pictures of her while talking with the people in her barangay. Man she has a lot of supporters, I think she’s gonna win. Let us all wish her good luck and pray that she wins. We’d know the results on Monday after the counting. Go Cuz!
**She’s one happy MOMMA too, after the parade, we went to Greenbelt 4 to get her birthday wish. WOOHOO, I’m so happy for you!**
Note: I’ll post pictures later, I need to do an opp worth $24, and hope to get the other $21…wahoo, it’s christmas!

This is what I do in between cooking, doing sponsored posts and doing errands. It clears my mind of stress, it brings excitement, improves my aging reflex, and improves my cooking skills NOT! Hehe, even with games it’s still cooking, it just shows how passionate I am with my new chosen career, DUH! It’s just that I don’t really have any other choice but to cook for the family. Well, I enjoy doing it anyways, especially if I see the satisfied faces of the people in the dining table.

Wahoo! I’m done with tutoring, 2nd Grading Periodical Test Week is over. It was a very toxic week, I didn’t know how I managed. I always had to wake up early, to prepare lunch meal for the kids, checked the reviewers, tutor the kids after lunch, start preparing for the evening meal, teach them again after dinner. My only time to do sponsored posts was when everyone’s already settled and asleep. It’s so hard to do sponsored posts in between bloghopping. So I always end up sleeping at 2 in the morning.
Friday was a treat for me. I was able to sleep until 10 in the morning. Ahhhh it feels good. In the afternoon, I went to Union Bank to open an eon visa cyber account which has a tie up with paypal. Hopefully all the payments for the sponsored thingy will be credited to this account. Thanks to Rowena, I actually read it in one of her twitter messages. Although I already opened one with Security Bank, I just wasn’t sure if it had a tie up with paypal.
I was able to attend belly dancing class too. I missed 2 sessions already and was happy to be back. We had our bonding moment after class when we had dinner at Tempura with my dancing buddies. Too bad Rica wasn’t able to join us, miss you girlfriend!

Cuz Marie and I went to watch the show of Janet Basco at the Captain’s Bar of the Mandarin Oriental on Friday. The show was ok, not that exceptional though, but we had a great evening. I enjoyed watching Christian Bautista (Man he was good looking! I heart him ^_^, so cuuuutee) and Sitti. Sitti looked so young, I pictured her as matured looking based on her singing voice, she’s real good with bossanova. Janet is still at her best, she was good too.
But how? How could we have forgotten to take our pictures? I only realized it when I uploaded the pictures I took of the show. Too bad, we were really “dressed” for the occassion. You can see how I looked here. I hope Cuz Marie was able to take a picture of herself coz she was really beautiful that night in her 4-inch peep toe!
**Thanks for bringing me home Cuz!

Last saturday, my son Josh requested if I could drive him somewhere (I don’t have a clue where, I’ll just follow his navigation) to buy his level up card for this online game FLYFF he plays. Little did we know that the card was available in a store just a few steps away from our house.
Then I asked him, let’s go on a date, “don’t call it that Mom!”. Make it let’s hangout nah, let’s call it bonding instead. Hehe, even with the choice of words, he is very particular. Is it really like this? Having kids who are in an awkward stage? Every word has go through the “board of censors”. Arrrggghhh, I don’t think I can put up with this.
Anyway, here’s what he had. He said he’s gonna forget about dieting. NO DIET indeed!
HIS ————– MINE I was able to chat with KC the other night, yay! See I told yah people, I can forget about the boredom! So that’s one off my list! I played video games too, borrowed my daughter’s DS Lite, and guess what? I enjoyed playing Cooking Momma, hehe so funny me. ^_^ So that’s another off the list, yayness!
