Been searching for the perfect pink! I finally saw one and I thought I was lucky. I picked that brand simply because I was happy with their Top Tomato (fiery red). Top Tomato turned out the way they described the product but not the Perfect Peony (name of that particular shade). Food-proof, yes it was. Ultra-conditioning top coat was missing! My lips became very dry and shimmery lines were very visible. Nope it does not wear beautifully, not even after an hour of use. I am very very disappointed. I tried other brands, with the other colors it was alright, but when it came to the perfect pink (well at least for me) all else fail. They have the same problem on my lips. I think it’s the shimmer or it could be an ingredient that they put that makes it pale pink, something silvery.

This is the packet I talked about a month or so already. Yeah finally I got it after paying half of what they (customs) wanted which was way beyond understanding. It was a gift to me by a very dear friend Krisa, please allow me to thank you from the bottom of my heart. All the items included made me smile from ear to ear, oh way past my ears. That was how happy I was/am. I already used the Urban Decay Primer Potion in this photo for my twitter background. The Mac Mineralize Skinfinish is very nice too. I use it to set my Mac foundation. I haven’t tried the Mac e/s and the brushes but will try it soon when I am in the mood for another pictorial.

OMG it’s addicting. This is my second Coastal Scents palette. The first one that I bought was the 88-pc palette which is purely for the eyes. This 78-pc palette has something for the cheeks. Did you know that Coastal Scents is really very affordable? I love it, it’s highly pigmented and the colors stay, of course with the help of a primer. So don’t get surprised if you see me made up all the time, I’m just enjoying my new hobby, which is painting my face.

Since I have been watching a lot of makeup tutorials over at youtube, I came across this vid that demonstrates how to do the faux hawk hair. Curious as I am, I tried it on myself. I’ve been doing it for the past 2 days already, one with curls and in that photo I tied my hair in a bun. What’s funny is, people are not used to seeing me all “dolled” up. Like our tenant, she was like “mukhang galing ka ng party” (looks like you just came from a party). Yeah I admit, our tenants see me mostly in my street clothes, sans makeup and all. So I can understand why she made such a comment. I was amused more than mad. Lately I have been trying different looks, and so far I’m enjoying every bit of it.

I promised myself before I left for Hong Kong that I’d be looking for an electronic eyelash curler. I’ve been wanting to have this since I can’t remember when. It’s just too much of a hassle for me to be heating my curlash with a blow dryer. So when I found this in one of the shops there, I was just too happy to have it. This product won the bronze award at the Invention Convention. So when I got home, I immediately used it to my dismay. It wouldn’t really curl my lashes, my heart sank. I started reading the manual that went with it. It said that it is most effective if you use it after putting mascara…ahhhh no wonder. Now I’m a happy
girl err woman!
Another great find was Maybelline’s Lash Stylist. Instead of a brush wand, Lash stylist had a comb wand. This works well for me at least. These are just two of the products I’d like to share with you and I swear it works perfectly!

If you noticed lately, I have been including sponsored posts in my blog. And i’m happy to share that the two posts i’ve written have been approved. Well I’m just waiting for them to mail my check (i’ll keep you posted). Since I have been endorsing a lot of products here in my site, I thought why not get paid. The funny thing when it’s a sponsored post, I find myself in front of the laptop longer than my usual almost everyday posts. Sometimes I just find it hard to endorse products, or talk about a certain sites. There are actually a lot of sponsored posts that you can take, but then again it’s very hard to write about things that you can’t relate to. If I get my first check in the amount of US$55, I promised myself to get a dot com, now isn’t that cool ^_^

My daughter Ish decided to join me in my belly dancing class. The first time I brought her there, she had second thoughts of joining. But she made up her mind one day and now we belly dance together. I bought her two sets of costumes in Divisoria for her to use on the 18th for another recital. I was thinking of making her one, but I just don’t have the time to do it. I don’t wanna feel stressed out just like the last time. I know it’s my fault coz I’m fond of doing things at the last minute. And yeah, I don’t think her Dad will allow her to use those bra type tops that I normally go for. Now is that an excuse? ^_^

Cuz has been sharing with me this Korean brand of makeup called The Face Shop since last year. I didn’t have the time to check it out until last Tuesday when my SIL invited me to go to Serendra. I bought their eye and lips makeup remover. It’s oil free and alcohol free. I think I like it, it’s not harsh even if a little goes into your eye. I also bought their pink lipstick.
