I grew up in a family that does not have life insurance. Mom and Dad didn’t have one. I really don’t know if they do not believe in it or if they just don’t have spare money at that time to pay for it. But I am very proud and happy that even at that time my Dad passed away in 2006 without an insurance, he left us with a sum of money that made my Mom’s life comfortable. It would have been better though if he had insurance. This is the reason why I want to get myself a life insurance. I can leave it with the kids when I’m gone. It can help them in one way or another. To me getting an insurance is a form of savings. I will be forced to set aside a sum of money instead of spending on unnecessary things.

The insurance industry has gone a long way especially with the existence of the internet. No one’s knocking on your doorsteps anymore offering some insurance. Gone are those days, days that I was used to when I was younger. Now everything is readily available. You can even compare life insurance online. I actually find the idea very helpful. At least I don’t need to go out of the house or meet some insurance brokers regarding my need. Shopping for life insurance is like shopping for clothes now. When you shop for a particular insurance, the search engine will give you rates coming from all the insurance companies. It’s up to you to compare and decide which really suits your needs. Easy peasy…that’s why I love the internet so much. Life gets to be a little convenient.

It’s a good thing almost everything is now available online. I really like the idea since it allows me to save up on time and travel. It’s quite convenient too admit it or not. Here’s one advantage I’d like to share with you. You see I always avoid talking to insurance agents on the phone because they get annoying at times. And they can’t just take no for an answer. I’ve had bad experiences dealing with agents on the phone, so it was quite a welcome treat that life insurance rates are now available online. I will be able to make a comparison without someone on the other end of the line trying to sell. Sometimes they are the reason why we can’t make a quick decision. If you are like me who is allergic to these agents, then all you need to do is check whatever rate is suitable to your budget. Quotations and rates are all available online.
