I was treated to a Thai Massage (my 2nd) yesterday by the hubs. Do you wanna know why? Because I gave him a pedicure. I normally do his toenails and sometimes a bonus manicure too. He likes how I do it compared to the ones in the salon. Probably because he can lie down and sleep while I do the pedi. When he woke up, he checked on it and blurted his usual “no red and shine?” I hate it too when people who do my nails put merthiolate after, I don’t actually see the point there.

This was taken last Thursday after a baptismal coverage. N treated me to dinner at Silk in Serendra. The food was not bad but it was not good either. I was expecting more though, because a lot have been saying that they serve really good Thai cuisine. I therefore conclude that it is over rated. Is green curry suppose to taste like coconut milk that was not cooked? Or is it that I am just used to my version of chicken curry. Hhmm, I think it’s time to upgrade the palate ^_^.
**Notice how I carry my bag, very “queenly”, beh!**

I really love the powdery smell of N’s aftershave. Oh speaking of which, I need to buy him one again. The bottle is almost empty. He is quite picky when it comes to the brand, and we all know that this stuff is not really cheap. Yay, this would be a great Christmas present for him. Until now he still does not know what he wants for Christmas, so I might probably get him this. I also saw my favorite scent in the same website where I found his aftershave. Golly it’s a lot cheaper from where I bought mine. That made me wonder, but not for a long time though. I figured that since they sell online, their overhead is also low and the cost of savings is passed on to the consumers. Now you and I know the reason why buying online saves us money.

Today N is celebrating his 42nd birthday. And he got a touching letter from his daughter Ish.
To My Dearest Daddy,
1st of all, Happy Birthday! Thank you for all the things you’ve done for me: for bringing me to this world, for raising me to be what I am now, for teaching me a lot of good things and for being a good father. I know that I hardly show affection w/ hugs and kisses, but it is my pride and joy to tell you how much I love you and Mommy. I guess I am in the phase where we, somewhat get embarrassed by showing affection to our parents, even at home. Once again, Happy Birthday & I love you!
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” - Gal. 6:2
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and He will show you the way.” - Prov. 3:5,6
Your Daughter,
Patricia
He was really excited with the letter he got, and I was excited too. We miss the days that Ish writes us letters. I remember when she first started to learn how to read and write (age 5), she had been writing us short letters. Today she is in school attending a weekend camp but we will fetch her later tonight to celebrate.
No matter how her Dad would deny it, he was teary eyed while reading the letter. I was like how come I didn’t get a letter on my birthday (haha jealous Mom), and N was like, “how come I didn’t get a birthday present?” Haha, this is really funny ^_^
Well I on my part just made a short note, placed it in a red envelope (ang pao) with $ inside, after all I am now a $ earner, bwaaaahhh!

This has been bugging my husband for quite some time now. He loves his dog Diego so much that he does not know what to feel when his favorite dog gets lost. These two are always on the go. Every afternoon they go for a walk. My husband is even planning to bring his dog when he goes biking in Subic. If only we have one of this Garmin Dog Tracking Systems, then we will be worry free. Even if the dog gets lost, he will be found immediately. Thanks to this new innovation. You will be able to find the exact location of your dog. What’s nice about this product is, it automatically sends to your receiver the location of your pet at 5 seconds interval, how about that. This product is really cool. When you switch to the dog tracker view, you will be able to know if your dog is running or sitting. What makes this possible is the GPS system. The one worn by your dog can pick up signals from satellites, then sends a radio signal to your handheld unit. This way, you will know the exact location of your pet. As long as you pick up a signal, you know that your dog is not lost. And whenever it loses its signal, what’s nice about his product is you will be able to see at which spot the signal dropped. And from there you can start the search again. So just a reminder to all dog owners out there, never go out hunting without putting tracking systems to your dogs.

I often hear Josh call/refer to his sister as “boy magnet”. It’s like when I admire Ish with anything, next the words that will come out of Joshua’s mouth would be “boy magnet”. While we were having lunch awhile back I asked him what “boy magnet” means. And he was like, “Duh! Mommy it’s the things that you do that attracts boys. You know, like how you fix your hair, the clothes that you wear.” I suddenly fixed my hair “Isha Style”, then said, like this Josh? Do I qualify? And he was like… “For the love of …Noooooo, you are already married!” Haha, as if I don’t know that. What’s funny, their Dad reacted, saying “No boy magnet for you, you are married.” DUH!

There was a time that we really got addicted to slot cars. We would go to specialty shops and buy accessories, even getting the top of the line ones just to ensure a victory whenever my husband would compete. I even remember getting our own race track, we would play with the kids, sometimes betting on who’s gonna win the race. These are times that have brought fondest memories, if I think of it now. We would work as one, trying to complete a new model that has just been bought, putting stickers to make it look cool, oh I miss those times.

Our driver called to inform us that he can’t come today because he had sore eyes. Whenever he’s not around, I take his place bringing and waiting for the kids in school together with their yaya (nanny). Nelson fetched me in school at about 11:00, he wanted me to accompany him to Greenhills and to have lunch at Bangus Restaurant, and pay our mobile phone bills. And what else do you do when you are in Greenhills? Of course, shopping! He did his share of shopping, buying 4 pairs of jeans. He saw me eyeing this cutie silver bag, well I was just admiring it really but did not have intentions of buying it. But when he paid for the stuffs he bought, he also paid for the bag without asking me if I wanted it. Maybe it was all painted in my face that I really really like it, hehe! Thank You Sweet!
