This is an example of a Hinkley lighting. It looks beautiful right? I’d love to have that in my living room some day. If you remember I am so fond of swirls, and when I saw this chandelier, I immediately fell in love with it. I also love the antique finish, it’s very elegant. And I also love it more because of its sale price. Yes they are having a great sale, so you better check out the items and take advantage of the discounted prices.

I found this beautiful candle holder while browsing some items at Greenhills last week. I actually didn’t have any intentions of buying, but who can resist owning this beautiful item? The color is really nice and it makes a good accent in our living room. Good thing she gave it to me at the price I wanted, which was 700 php. Originally it was priced at 850 php, I know I’m a bit of a cheapo. I don’t know but I don’t usually buy items if I don’t get a discount even for 10 php only. You know these sales ladies know how to size up. If they feel that you can afford and you like the item so much, even if you cry blood, they wouldn’t give you a discount. Just a tip for you out there, when you go shopping as much as possible dress down. You get a good discount by doing so. ^_^

Look at this magical Plasma Art, truly a work of art. I want to have one in my living room, it would make a beautiful accent with it’s vibrant blue and red color. It’s 18 inch tall, it dances and reacts to your touch. This will remind me of the beautiful neon colors of Hong Kong by night. It really beautiful and it gives a fantastic light effects. They have a fresh pine for a Christmas tree over at my in-laws. It’s really pretty, and it smells so good. It’s like when you enter their house, it’s gives a different scent of freshness, like you’re in the woods or something. It does not really look like a real tree from afar, it’s the smell that gives it away. I was pretty excited when my SIL mentioned that they’re having a fresh pine, we were even kidding her that it’s just grown in Baguio NOT! Nah it’s imported from the US, I think the friend of her friend is the importer. Hhhmm, shall I have a fresh tree next year?

Oh yes! I’m finally done with the tree. I am quite late in setting it up, I was waiting for my daughter Ish to help me put the trimmings. I don’t know why we haven’t done in in the past weekends, aaahh we were always out and by the time we got home we were dead tired already. So one afternoon, I took the liberty to decorate the tree with the help of my “angels”. I actually find the trimmings boring already since I’ve had it for the last 4 years I think. Hopefully next year, I will be able to change the theme and probably change my tree too. Well let’s see ^_^

Yeah you can smell Christmas in the air at home. We started putting up the tree which took the whole day. My light requirement for the tree is quite difficult and there’s only one person who can master it. It’s the yaya (nanny) of my son Josh. She’s an expert I tell you. It’s really beautiful when it’s lighted. I might put the trimmings tomorrow if I have extra time. But on second thought, I think I need to wait for Saturday so that my darling girl can help me.

I’ve always admired designs that could be created out of wrought iron. It’s fancy! I like how the iron is twisted to create a beautiful ornamental design. Take for example this curtain rods, it would really create a beautiful effect in our homes. I particularly like these two, the Pine Cone rod, and the Moose & Pine Tree rod which can be used during the holidays to go with the Christmas atmosphere we have at our homes. Having these kind of rods at home is low maintenance compared to the usual brass we have. I use to have a brass rod at home and it needs to be wiped every now and then to maintain its color. I even caught my helper frown when I asked her to clean it. And why not, she has to put down the heavy curtains in order to clean it. Maybe it’s a heavy task for her. But with wrought iron rods, you won’t be seeing frowning faces ^_^. Aside from being low maintenance, it’s ornamental designs are really appealing. It’s going to add more beauty to our homes.

I can just laugh at myself now for attempting to do a DIY Roman Shades. Gosh it’s harder than I figured, but at least I tried. Nope I was not successful in doing it, my husband was even laughing at me and telling me “why are you giving yourself a headache when you can just buy or have it made?”
I’m envious whenever I visit a house with roman shades hanging in their windows. I’ve been telling myself, I want that in my house too. I really want to have this Select Stripes Roman Shades, isn’t it a beauty? It will match my victorian inspired living room furniture. We don’t own a high definition television yet, but would love to have one in the near future. I remember saving for it years back, but more important things came up so the funds for it was diverted, furniture for our new house that is. Now, we can start saving again for that. And lucky us, prices for high definition television has gone down quite a bit. Maybe we can consider buying westinghouse HDTV, I think it’s a good brand, a brand that I grew up with. I’ve been browsing the website and I’d love to have that 47″ LCD Flat-Panel HDTV, it’s just a beauty. What about you? Do you have HDTV in your homes?

I would really suggest that you hire a termite control service before your house gets infested by termites. This is what we did in the middle of the construction of our house. We wouldn’t want to see the destruction brought about by termites in the near future. I’ve seen houses infested by termites and it’s slowly falling apart. If you don’t want this to happen to your homes, as early as now hire a termite control service before it’s too late.

I so love this vertical blinds, I have one similar to this at home. But this one is better. There are no chains and cords attached to it, but instead you just use the wand to draw it, or just twist the wand if you want to angle the slats. If you ask me, I’d prefer the wand, chains and cords get entangled and sometimes it breaks easily. This blinds fit any size of windows too, if you find it too long, you can just fold it on top and slide it in between the bar. What I like about this product is it’s very easy to install, you all know by now that I am a DIY MOMMA and I want to do things on my own.
You gotta see their roman blinds too, their Bamboo Wood Roman Blinds is a real beauty. I want to have that in my house, it would complement the furnishings we have at home. I love the oak color of the blinds, it would go well with the yellow walls of our house. I wish I can have it for christmas, it would be something new and for sure it will add more beauty and make our house look cozy.

This is what I really need right now. This will be a very big help to our helpers especially when they clean the house. It’s not a joke to clean the house, it can be very tiring. By getting this utility cart, I will be able to lessen the load of cleaning, as everything they need is already there. They don’t need to go back and forth to the storage, because this utility card can hold almost all they need for cleaning.

This is my beautiful kitchen (imo), I spent sleepless nights (haha how OA) flipping every page of kitchen mags, surfing the internet, just to be able to come up with what I had in mind. And this is the reason too why I cook a lot, a promise given to N just to let me have the hand in designing the kitchen. Nah really, I like spending time in the kitchen, I feel relaxed and can never stop admiring it ^_^
