I need to try these Soy Candles. I heard that the fragrance is unbelievable, and it is also being chosen for its longer burning candles. Speaking of scents, I think I’d like to try the bakery scents. It’s nice to come home to a house that smells like my favorite coffee shop, ah smells like heaven. Another reason why I want to try these soy candles is because it burns cleaner and lasts longer, I found that out while surfing the net. I also found out that you can buy wholesale soy candles at remarkable prices. You actually get to save more if you buy in bulk. This would make as a nice gift to friends and loved ones.

I recently visited the new home of a friend. The first thing I noticed was her bar stools. I’ve long wanted to have one, but up to now I’m still in the hunt. Maybe it’s just not on top of our priority right now, thus the delay. But really I want one. You see that picture? That’s the kind of stool that I want so it would go with my dining set. Maybe now is the time to put it in the priority list, I need to sit down when I’m using the phone which is located in the breakfast nook.

I’ve seen these vessel sinks in some restaurants that we frequent and it never stops catching my attention. Actually I want to have one of those in our house. It looks very elegant and I want one made of marble. I took notice of the mosaic vessel sink I saw at wholesalestonesinks.com. It’s really very pretty and one of a kind. What I like about these vessel sinks made out of stones is the fact that it’s very easy to maintain compared to the glass ones. The texture is also great. Go see for yourself so you will have an idea on how a vessel sink looks like.

Imagine a very beautiful house put into waste because of pest. I wouldn’t want that to happen to our house. It’s a big investment going to nothing. We really can’t stop these bugs from destroying our properties if we don’t do something about it. So people living in Colorado, if you don’t want these bugs to destroy your homes, it’s about time you hire somebody to do the eradicating of bugs to your properties. Alpha Ecological is a Pest Control in Colorado. They have a lot of satisfied clients simply because of their awareness about health issues brought about by pesticides. They always choose the best products to be used with your health in mind. While they do their thing, you won’t be smelling any fumes and odors so there’s really no need to vacate your house. The products they use is child and pet friendly, oh it’s even safe for the elderly. Even the asthmatics can breathe freely since it does not have odors, fumes and vapors. They use only the highest technology to be able to do this plus of course their eco-friendly products.
It’s about time you check on your homes. You may not be aware that bugs and pests are already destroying your homes little by little. A periodic check is really necessary if you want to maintain the house in a liveable condition. You also protect the health of your family by doing so. Owning a house is a big investment, don’t allow just any bugs and pests to destroy them.

I think I should be sleeping in Memory Foam Mattress. A lot of people are saying that this kind of mattress relieves joint and neck pain. It is also very good for people who are experiencing excruciating mid and lower back pains. This is a special kind of mattress which has a thick layer of NASA designed memory foam. It is designed to support the body and the back. There are more benefits when you get to sleep in this kind of mattress. It molds to the shape of your body when you lie down that’s why it feels so comfortable. With this, you will be able to sleep soundly and comfortably, something like a REM (rapid eye movement) kind of sleep.
How about Adjustable Beds? Oh I’d love to sleep in it too. Imagine you can position yourself comfortably when reading, watching television or eve talking on the phone. I don’t need to put a pillow or two on my back to achieve the position I want. Pillows sometimes strain the muscles resulting to more body pains. But with the adjustable bed, all you need to do is press the control which is included in the package once you buy the adjustable bed, to your desired position. This can happen in just a click of a finger.
Let us compare these memory foam mattress and adjustable beds to that of Tempurpedic. It actually comes close or rather it has the same features as the tempurpedic but at a lower price. When it comes to warranty Bragada is even better since it offers a lifetime warranty. Bragada has been in the business of making memory foam mattresses for 65 years now, compared to it’s competitor which is about 14 years only. You be the judge, what do you think?

Two weeks ago, when we visited some of the houses that are being rented, our tenants showed us termite damage in some parts of the house. We were disappointed seeing it. The tenants could have done something about it, but then again that is the problem with them since they don’t own the house. What we expected from them though is to tell us right away if they see something unusual so we can immediately act on it. Now our problem is how to go about it since in some houses the damage is really huge. I’ve been telling the hubs to hire a professional for extermination of these termite colonies. When all this is done already, I might talk to these tenants and educate them on how to inspect for termites.

Do you have carpets at home? How do you clean them? Do you clean them yourself or do you hire someone to do the cleaning for you, like carpet cleaners perhaps? I know of some who do the cleaning themselves, yet they are not really satisfied. Cleaning the carpet is not an easy job, especially if you do not know the procedure of effective carpet cleaning. Sometimes you end up paying more compared to hiring a professional. The moment you get frustrated that you can’t take out the stain, the more you try harder. Good if you can take it out by trying harder, but sometimes you create additional mess which is really frustrating. It is also very tiring to do the cleaning yourself. Good if you have all the time to do it. What if you hold 2 or 3 jobs, do you think you’ll still have the energy to do the cleaning yourself? Why don’t you just hire quality carpet cleaners? They can do a better job simply because they have the technical know how. They know which products to use for different stains and dirts. They know how to go about all the mess your carpets have. Remember there are a lot of considerations to make when cleaning a carpet. It’s no ordinary job. Yes there are different suggestions you can find out there, but how sure are you that this is effective? Like I’ve said you might end up spending more because of this hit and miss method. There are a lot of homeowners who opt for carpet cleaners nowadays, and almost all of them are satisfied with the services carpet cleaners offer. Don’t stress out yourself when you can hire a carpet cleaner. That is the reason why we have them, they are there to take care of things beyond what we can do.

Shh, just between you and me, I have a secret to tell you. A lot of people thought that I’ve been using real plants inside the house. Truth is I have both. See, they can’t even distinguish. The silk plants I have at home look so real, this is because of the kind of quality materials used. I can say that they are of high quality. I love having these plants at home, it adds beauty to the interior of the house. I’m no longer buying real plants since I observed that it causes at lot of work for our helpers. It’s no joke bringing out the plants every two days for some sunlight and water. We all know that plants will die without some water and sunlight. I really pity the helpers carrying the heavy pots since I know for a fact that it can be avoided. There is another point to consider too not having real plants inside the house. Kids are very sensitive to pollens particles and I don’t want them to catch allergies because of these plants. I am also very careful now since the dengue outbreak. With the use of faux plants, problems with insects will be minimized. You too should start using faux plants instead of real ones. Let us all help in preserving natural plants.

Had I known about metal roofing, we could have at least use this when we constructed the house. I read the specifications and it’s really something that we could have installed. Metal roofs are made to last decades. It allows one to save on the energy bill since its insulating properties result to lower heating and cooling costs. It comes in 20 different colors to match whatever color scheme you decide to have for your house. Installing a metal roof will allow you to save because you may never need to replace them.

Nah, not the noodles, I am lucky. I was able to buy this comforters at 50 percent off. Instead of paying P22,000 for all four, I paid only a little under P11,000. We really need new ones. The last time I bought was 5 years ago, imagine 5 years ago. The comforters we have are all faded already, and so soft, evidence of it’s wear and tear. Haha, why do I keep on justifying my purchase? Oh, these are not 100% cotton, but it’s soft anyway and as long as it does not give an itch, I don’t mind. I have to make do with what we can afford.

I really love checking out this furniture store. You see the picture on the left? That is the type of furniture that I really want. Just a simple one but very elegant. They actually have a lot of choices and sometimes I just really cannot make up my mind. It’s like I want everything that I see in that store. Yes I am still in the look for furniture since I feel like our house is still empty. I can hear the echo of every sound. It proves to show that we need to fill it up.
You need to take a look at their bedroom furniture too. There are some nice pieces that I’d love there. Pieces that you see in home magazines, the ones being featured in bedrooms. I have always admired the arrangement and the kind of furniture featured in magazines. And as much as possible, I try to get some idea from it. Haha, I can’t admit that I copy. I do, but let’s just put it this way, I just get the inspiration from those magazines. Now comes my frustration. We do have something like this living room furniture but it seems like it’s not as beautiful as what I see in the pages of magazines. There is something missing and I think I already know what. The walls are plain. Yep, no painting or whatever hanging in the walls. To compensate, maybe I should add a little more living room furniture like an entertainment center perhaps?

If you notice, I don’t have anything hanging on walls of our house. I admit that I am quite sad by this. The house would look more beautiful and homey if there are paintings hanging on the walls. I’ve already talked to my husband about it, but until now I still don’t have his go signal to purchase even one painting. There’s this painting I soooo love at Park West Art Gallery. It’s really beautiful and looks like it was custom made for our house. I hope this time when I mention it to hubby I will get his approval. I wonder if my convincing skill still works on him. Ah, maybe more charm is needed to have a thumbs up from him.

I was not paying much attention to the lighting of a house until we had our house built. It was my husband who took care of the lighting, because if he’d let me to do the lighting, our house wouldn’t be as homey and cozy as it is now. Now I totally see the difference between on how lights are to be positioned. I was laughing at my husband when he was designing the lighting of the house, and it also kept me thinking, why on earth is he spending a lot of time of that when he could just have placed those white lights. Pardon my ignorance, but I have always loved white lights. But with hubby, he taught me how to play with lights in order to give the house more ambiance. He introduced me to fine art lamps by bringing me to lamp stores. I actually admire his taste for different kinds of lamps as he showed me his choices. I couldn’t say no to what he picked because it was really beautiful. He also showed me some lamps similar to these hinkley light fixtures, and I was like wow, it looks so grand, something that you would want to put in your house.

Given the choice, I would rather put sheer Shades on the window in the living room. It’s so nice to look at, all you can see is the light being filtered leaving a soft silhouette. This is how I always like it, just silhouettes coming from the window. I don’t like having a dark living room and I don’t like having bright living room either. So these sheer shades really work well for me. I remember someone suggesting that I should be putting something behind the sheer curtain we have at home, I actually did but I didn’t like the effect. It’s as if I couldn’t breathe, so I had to remove it right there. How about you? Would you go for sheer shades or darkening shades?

My husband is thinking of changing the tivoli lights we have every Christmas. He wants to put led rope light this time. It’s like he’s going to outline the whole house with led rope lights. I think the idea is awesome and I can’t wait. Actually he already thought of using it last Christmas, but we didn’t have enough time to plan everything. I am excited already because I saw this house with led rope lighting in one of the posh subdivisions and it’s just pretty and eye catching. The beautiful lighting sets it apart from all the other houses. I think it’s the perfect accent lighting to have during the holiday season. Hhhhmmm, what color should we use? If I’m going to ask my daughter, definitely she’ll say violet. Yeah, violet is cool, not a typical Christmas color, but nowadays there are no rules to follow really. As long as you think it would look good, then why not. And another thing, compared to the tivoli lights that we have, led rope lights have much longer life. The led bulbs can last up to 100,000 hours. Isn’t that amazing? And here’s another thing to be considered. Led rope lights generate almost no heat, and it requires less energy too. Woohoo we can save on electricity. Funny how we turn off the tivoli lights after an hour’s use, because of some news we hear that it can cause fire after prolonged use. With led rope lights, we can be assured that it’s safe even on extended hours of use.

It’s only now I realized the value of having Mini Blinds in our windows. You see we live near the main highway, a very busy one. It gets very dusty, plus the fact that there are diggings everywhere. My helpers are already complaining how dusty our curtains are. They need to wash it every week, and that makes changing the curtains every week too. It’s quite a hard work considering how curtains get heavy when wet. But with the blinds installed it would make work easier for them since they will just wipe off the dusts. Oh well, maybe next time.

This is the kind of bed linen I go for. I love it’s simple design. I don’t go for loud screaming colors and prints. Seeing it will give me a headache instead of a good night’s rest.
I also love to decorate our bedroom. I put various bedroom accessories to make it more beautiful and inviting. I often flip on pages of bedroom magazines just to get ideas on how to make the bedroom as cozy as possible. Like the ones being featured in home magazines. In my own little way I am able to do that, oh not the “feature” thing, but making our bedrooms look beautiful. There was one who even commented that it looks like one of the rooms in a hotel. Of course I was very happy to hear that, who wouldn’t. And there’s one more thing, I’ve included beautifying the bathroom. I admire houses who have nice bathrooms, and I promised myself that if ever we’re gonna build a house, I will make sure that my bathroom is also pretty. So far, that dream has come true. Little by little I’m filling the bathroom with beautiful bathroom accessories too. I’m about to stop, because if not, it will no longer serve its purpose.

I’d love to have this faucet at home. It looks good, something victorian and yet very modern, well at least to me. That is just one of the Delta faucets I saw online. Since I really like the design, I thought of sharing it with you. To a few friends who are building their dream house, faucet.com is worth a visit. They have an enormous collection of faucets for your kitchen and bathroom. Check it out now.

I made sure that I get these bathroom vanities installed in our bathrooms, well at least for me and the kids. True enough N granted it. I don’t know but I have been dreaming of having a really beautiful bathroom, one that looks like the bathrooms found in hotels or bathrooms found in bed and bath magazines. N knows about this, so when we built this house some 2 years back he made sure that I went with him to check on the bathroom section of the home depot. And he made me choose, yay for that.

When the idea of building another house was shared to me by N some 3 years ago, I got pretty excited. I kept saying to myself, this will be our dream house. I started buying different kinds of magazines, home, bed & bath, kitchen and bedroom. I hovered a lot too, going to different websites to find out what the latest trends are. Even before the architect submitted the architectural design, I had already painted a picture on how the house should look like. I had only one request to my husband when we started building this house. That is to leave me alone in deciding how our kitchen should look like and the bathrooms too. I’ve showed him a few pictures of beautiful kitchens and bathrooms and he found it beautiful too, so he left me to decide on those two. It has long been my dream to have a beautiful bathroom, like the ones I see in the pages of specialty magazines. I saw to it that these type bathroom vanities are what we are going to put. Much as I wanted to put these double bathroom vanities which I saw first over at my friends house, we just couldn’t use it because of the limited space. But instead we used something like these single bathroom vanities. I am proud to say that a lot have admired our bathroom. Some even say that it looks like the bathrooms in some hotels. That’s what I actually had in mind too, that is to have a bathroom similar to the ones at the hotels.

You’ve been wanting to add one of Agee’s ventless gas fireplaces to your house for a while, but you’re not sure if you’ll be able to find a mantel that will fit around it. I had the same worries until I found out about their custom work. Agee has the best quality custom mantels and fireplace cabinets that can be made to fit any fireplace and any décor. Check them out and I think you’ll be happy that you went to Agee Woodworks.

A couple of days back, there was none hanging on the doors. I felt that it was not really Christmas inside the house even if I had the tree already. Originally that Santa Claus was placed in the landing, which could not really be appreciated because it was kinda dark. So I thought of transferring it to the living room. It looks nice in there and contributed to the “Christmassy” feeling. Oh, I think I need to put an area rug under that cabinet, it looks so bare to me. What do you think?

This is what I actually need, but just didn’t have enough time to take care of it. And I really thought that it would cost me that much, so it added to the delay of installing blinds for my French door. Little did I know that there is a website that offers cheap blinds. But don’t think that just because the price is cheap, it does not have good quality. These are quality blinds. In fact they have a lot of satisfied customers, and the list is still growing.
There is an ongoing sale of 25 percent. I will email my sister ASAP to let her know, as she mentioned in one of our conversations that she needs new blinds for her living room. She’d be happy to know that shipping is free and that it has a lifetime warranty.
