My Son Knows About Colon Cleanse

Posted by girlie on February 25, 2011

I don’t know what got into me when I mentioned an option to lose weight to my son who is only 15. Losing weight is also his frustration. Now we are on the same boat. This is probably where colon cleanse came in the picture. We were talking about ways to lose weight and how hard it is to try and lose weight. Since I have been reading and writing about ways and means to lose weight, I mentioned it to him one time. Now he can’t forget about that conversation. He says it when he wants too, like candidly that’s why I just laugh it off. I don’t know if I’m wrong mentioning it to him, but it’s already been said and done. Now how can I redeem myself? I’ll probably just say that it is one of those intelligent conversations.

So What?

So what if I’m FAT? I wish I can say that. I really get bothered when people make side comments about me being fat. They make it appear as if I am not pleasing to look at. Nasty! If only I can tell them to mind their own busines, but that is rude. I was not brought up that way. Anyway, just to let you know, I am doing something about my weight. And since I hear a lot of nasty comments, I often find myself taking a look at over the counter diet pills that work. How did I know about the brands? I search the internet and read reviews. Sometimes I ask my friends if they have tried it and if the results are positive, I take note of the name.

No Need at This Time

Posted by girlie on February 23, 2011

Went to the gym today. Well nothing really new because I go 5x a week. I so love aerobics that I don’t plan to stop at all. If I find Zumba near our place, I will enroll too. You see, I love to dance and to me this is the best form of exercise. I was staring hard at myself in the mirror while doing weights. Good news, I lost some weight. There is really no need to go into diet pills at this time. But I want to know, does Hydroxycut work? I’ve read quite a number of reviews but I really want to hear it from someone I know so that I can ask questions regarding this diet pill.

Vitamins Everyday!

Posted by girlie on January 12, 2011

I am fat alright! But did you know that I still take my vitamins? I just want to make sure that I get all the nutrients that I need. Let’s face it, we do not get all the nutrients from the food we eat. It is sometimes stripped probably from the way it is being cooked. The chemicals that is being put can also strip it of it’s vitamins and minerals. So this is the reason why I still take my vitamins. How about you? Do you still bother to take your vitamins?

Female Body Builder

Posted by girlie on September 16, 2010

Seriously I want to have a body similar to a female body builder, not the ones who look like men already, but someone who still looks feminine despite the muscles. But how can I obtain that when I hate lifting weights? I do a little weights on the side when I go to the gym, like prolly twice a week but is that enough? Others suggest that I have protein drinks so it can help build the muscles that I want. I’m not sure though if I do get all the protein my body needs in a day. I have to look into this so it wouldn’t post a problem when I start having my protein supplements.

Reminiscing

Posted by girlie on July 10, 2010

I only have 2 kids and I don’t intend to get pregnant, ooohhhlala as if I still can. If ever, it’s going to be a risk pregnancy because of the age factor. I am not telling you how old I am, you’re guess is as good as mine. Anyway I’m good with 2 beautiful children. I vividly remember those times I was pregnant with them. I never missed going to the OB every month for check up even though I didn’t look forward to it. I did it for the sake of my babies. I was also religious in taking my prenatal vitamins because I know how important it is to the development of the babies. There were times that I hated taking anything, but I just had to do it. You know how it is when a woman gets pregnant, they get to be sensitive with everything. I had my moments too but generally I was good with pregnancy.

How Sensitive is Your Skin?

Posted by girlie on July 9, 2010

My my my! I have sensitive skin, it’s probably because I’ve outgrown my asthma already. I remember when I was in high school, my allergies were really bad that it looked like eczema. It was eeewww to the max, reddish and watery, I know it’s gross but I just like to describe so you will have an idea on how bad it was. Amongst my 2 kids, I think it’s Josh who got after me. He’s got sensitive skin too and I had to buy him this special lotion all the time because if not he would have scars all over his body from scratching. Hope he outgrows this soon because I’m really bothered by the looks of it.

Vitamins Keep Me Strong

Posted by girlie on March 18, 2010

Please don’t laugh at me. I know I am on the FAT side right now but I am still taking my multivitamin. Contrary to what many people think, I still believe that all of us should take vitamins everyday. We don’t really get all the nutrients our bodies need that is why we need supplements. Food are sometimes stripped off their nutrients with the wrong cooking, or too much processing. Now you get my point? If you still think you are going to get fat when you take your vitamins, why not make exercise a regular thing for you? There is no other time to start but now.

Cig Update

Posted by girlie on February 8, 2009

Photobucket It’s been 20 days… of being cig-free that is. It’s still a struggle, but I need to fight it. There were a couple of times that I wanted to give in, but thinking about the number of days I’ve been through without smoking gives me strength. The craving is still strong, but if I will not help myself I won’t be able to quit. It does not help that the hubs is still smoking, but really with God’s grace I am able to pull through the day cig-free.

Are You Protected from FLU?

Posted by girlie on February 6, 2009

A couple of days back, I wrote something about getting our Vaxigrip Flu vaccine. I got all positive responses. Most of those who responded really saw the importance of getting this Flu vaccine every year. If you only know what’s gonna happen if you don’t get this vaccine. Some people I know dismiss it as a simple case of flu. Let me tell you that flu can get deadly. This is totally different from having colds or cough or fever. A lot of complications can stem from this. Before these complications happen, let us do our share. What is a small amount compared to hospital bills? What is a small amount compared to losing someone in the family? You get my point? Do not be like those people who just shrug at the idea of having flu. You do not know what’s going to happen next. It’s not everyday that you are in the pink of health to be able to resist the virus. The only way to avoid getting the flu virus is having yourself vaccinated.

I am so thankful that I really attended the seminar given by sanofi Pasteur. It made me aware of a lot of things, plus the fact that I am now convinced that everyone in my household should get their shots yearly. Let me ask you, ikaw ba ay Bakunado na? (Did you have your flu vaccine already?) Kung hindi ka pa talaga convince na kailangan mo ito taon-taon, basahin mo ang mga nakatalang facts dito sa http://www.bakuna.ph, ewan ko nalang sayo kung di ka pa magpapabakuna. (If you are still not convinced that this should be a yearly thing, please read some facts over at http://www.bakuna.ph. Be informed, be updated, and the most important thing be PROTECTED!

A Healthier You

Have you watched the series of video of the sproutwells family? It’s funny and at the same time it injects some values. I like the part where Ruby is begging her Mom to keep the dog. It seemed that the mom didn’t have second thoughts of making the dog part of her family. It’s exciting to find out the contents of the next package too. It’s like waiting what’s next to come at freshfunds.com. I love the tips I get from that website. I am a sucker for anything healthy and most often than not the snacks that I have are not really that healthy. Thanks to freshfunds.com for sharing some healthy snacking tips, and I look forward to more tips. The keyword nowadays is having a healthy lifestyle.

Do You Need a Colon Cleanse?

Posted by girlie on May 2, 2008

I’ve read a lot of good things brought about by a colon cleanse. I have not actually considered doing it because I don’t see the need at the moment. I read the list/symptoms, and I have not experienced any of them. Here are some of the symptoms, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, poor digestion, acne, age spots, etc. If you have any of those, I mean constantly, maybe you should consider colon cleanse. Give your digestive system a rejuvenation.

The Best Treatment Center

Posted by girlie on January 30, 2008

It’s really very important to bring someone who is hooked into prohibited drugs to a Drug Treatment Center. I know this is not an easy decision to make, since it will involve physical separation. But then if this will help overcome their addiction to drugs, we don’t have other choice but to give consent. Addiction to drugs should not be taken for granted. There are a lot of scary things an addict is capable of doing since they are not in their right sense of mind. If you notice, a number of crimes are committed by these drug addicts since they don’t know what they are doing. Others resort to stealing, or even killing just to be able to satisfy the urge. So before any of these things happen and before it is too late, let us consider bringing someone we know who is into the use of prohibited drugs to a rehabilitation center.

Let me share with you a Drug Treatment Center I’ve come across lately. They offer programs that will satisfy your every need. The nice thing about it is they see and treat you as an individual and not some addict. This brings back the dignity in you. They have a variety of drug addiction treatments that focuses on healing the different aspects of your addiction. Their rehabilitation center is designed to give special attention during the most difficult times. By the way, this center not only treats persons with serious addiction to prohibited drugs. Please go and visit their website and know more about their different treatment programs.

Feeling a Little Better

Posted by girlie on December 31, 2007

I was down with a flu yesterday.  Remember I was telling you guys that I can’t afford to be sick coz I had work?  I tried waking up early to prepare for work but then I couldn’t move.  Every time I tried to move, my whole body was in pain.  I told N that I couldn’t help him with the coverage, because if I force myself to work, then I know I will be down and will be spending  New Year in bed which I don’t really like.  I slept the whole day yesterday, waking up only to have lunch and dinner.  I tried to work a bit, just to meet some deadlines but I was able to do only one.  It’s probably because of the medicines I took, it made me sleepy.  I’m up and about, in fact I was able to go out awhile back to order california maki to be brought to the reunion tomorrow.  I don’t wanna stress out myself from cooking, I might get a relapse.  I can’t afford to get sick, classes will resume on the 7th and nobody will take care of the kids’ food.

What is Mesothelioma?

Posted by girlie on December 12, 2007

Do you know what Mesothelioma is? I don’t know either until I came across this website. Mesothelioma is an asbestos-caused cancer of the membranes that surround many of the body’s vital organs. According to studies, exposure to asbestos is the only confirmed cause of mesothelioma. Did you know that you can get exposed to asbestos from members of your family who has brought home asbestos in their clothes? Or even a house renovation for that matter. Yeah that is right. So to avoid further complications, it’s better that you know the symptoms of mesothelioma. Read more from mesotheliomahelp.net, and if you think you might have developed this kind of cancer, it’s not too late yet. You can submit yourself to mesothelioma treatment.
