My son has a cousin who plays the drum very well. We have not actually seen him perform yet, but according to those people who have witnessed him play, he is really good, and he’s just about 8 or 9 years old. I’m just guessing here, I have a feeling that when my son sees him play, I bet he too will be interested. How I wish I live in the US so I can avail of the discount shopping for musical instruments from Musicians Friend, Guitar Center and Music 123. How I wish indeed, but we are talking about a drum set here. I often call my sisters in the United States. That is my way of bonding with them, and some kind of updating on what’s going on in our lives. A few years back, I would often use my mobile phone to call them. Every time my phone bill arrives, I would always cringe at the thought on how I can settle the bill. Good thing there are cheap calling cards that I can try now, and they are instantly available over the internet. Why would I use my mobile phone or our landline to call, when I can save 80 percent when I use these calling cards. There’s also another reason why I opt to use these calling cards, it does not only allow me to save, but our conversations are very clear, it’s like my sisters are only a few feet away. Many of us sometimes doubt when we come across cheap calling cards. It’s always at the back of our minds that the voice quality is not good. But with the kind of technology we have nowadays, nothing is impossible anymore.

I think I’ve already mentioned it here in one of my posts. We like our vehicles to have a distinct look, what we call the VEE look. Something that would identify our vehicles to us. It’s like when they see it cruising the streets, one would say something like, “oh I know who owns that car”. Part of that distinct look would be installing a stainless steel fender trim. Not only will it make your vehicle look nice and sporty, it will provide protection from mud, dirt, gravel and salt. You will no longer have minute scratches on your cars, which can sometimes lead to a bigger damage.

What? World’s demand for silver now exceeds production? Hmmm probably because of all those silver accessories I see in the mall. When we were still in the planning stage of building our house, my husband has already thought of having a home theater. Listening to his big dream, I was convinced that indeed we needed a home theater. If you ask me, yes the room is there, but we just didn’t have the budget to go on with it. Like right now, it was converted into a storage room =( But I’m not losing hope at all, I know one day this dream of ours will materialize. For now, I will just have to collect ideas on how to make it into the best home theater. Here’s another pretty dress I bought at 168. I am really funny, after declaring that I am a rehabilitated shopaholic, here I am posting my cheap but pretty shopping find. Well I just can’t resist buying this. Imagine at 480 pesos ($11), who wouldn’t be tempted to buy it, right? And it matches the peep toe sent by my sister. Hmmmm come to think of it, maybe that’s the reason why I was lured into buying this dress, there is a pair of peep toe waiting to be matched.

We don’t own a high definition television yet, but would love to have one in the near future. I remember saving for it years back, but more important things came up so the funds for it was diverted, furniture for our new house that is. Now, we can start saving again for that. And lucky us, prices for high definition television has gone down quite a bit. Maybe we can consider buying westinghouse HDTV, I think it’s a good brand, a brand that I grew up with. I’ve been browsing the website and I’d love to have that 47″ LCD Flat-Panel HDTV, it’s just a beauty. What about you? Do you have HDTV in your homes?

That is the dress I bought at 168 Mall today. Isn’t it pretty? It’s made of silk material and the print is just lovely. The colors I love to. And it goes with the peep toe I got from my sister! Hmmmm, what bag should I wear with this? Wahoo, I have something to wear on our next wedding coverage! Wait just between you and me, I paid only 550 pesos ($12) for that dress, what a bargain!
