All The Single Ladies!

We attended the Despedida de Soltera of Hailey, my husband’s niece. It was a Masquerade Ball (yeah that explains our masks) and we all had fun.

We (me and my daughter) joined Hailey and her friends to a dance medley, “all the single ladies”, yeah we danced to Beyonce’s All the Single Ladies, some samba and swing. I think we gave a nice performance coz the choreographer was really happy.

All the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, now put your hands up, up in the club, we just broke up…oh, oh, oh! Haha LSS big time, even when sleeping OMG! Yes we are learning Beyonce’s dance steps, will I be as popular as Shane? Oh Shane! Have you seen him on youtube? Search him, he’s damn good, but oh so skinny!

Anyways, we are dancing part of Single Ladies this April. It’s totally new to me, and it’s hard! My gracefulness was put to test and I am about to give up. I don’t know if I can manage to finish the whole thing, well I should since I had my cocktail dress sewn already, LOL. We’ll be missing 2 rehearsal days though, but will just catch up probably…well hopefully. I’m already excited!

Shoes Made for Dancing

I’d love to have this character shoes when I go dancing. Not that I go clubbing every night ^_^ but as many of you know by now, dancing is my form of exercise. I dance twice a week. I have my dancing shoes though, but I feel it’s gonna “die” on me anytime soon. Yep, I only have a pair and you can just imagine how old it looks now, and really really worn out. I love dancing in heels, a 3-in. one. Dancing moves become quite sexy. I am not kidding, it sort of gives a different kind of sway. I used to wear sneakers or ballet shoes when I dance. But when I discovered that dancing in heels is cool and nice to look at, I think I now prefer dancing in heels. No, you don’t dance with just any kind of shoes, unless you want to get injured. There’s a special shoes made for dancing. It’s really comfortable and very light. Sometimes I don’t feel like I have shoes on. And you know what? Since my dancing shoes is really beautiful, I’ve been attempting to wear it outside the dance floor. Upon the advice of my teacher, she said that dancing shoes are not made for walking. Darn! So there, remember wear dancing shoes when you are in the dance floor, and don’t forget to change into something else when you are out of the dance floor, otherwise you are going to hurt yourself.
