Made of Steel

Posted by girlie on February 8, 2012

I used to play badminton a lot. I don’t really understand why all of a sudden I lost interest. It’s probably because none of my friends who live nearby are playing. I normally travel more than an hour just to be able to play. Maybe I just got tired too. Anyway, I wonder if there are metal buildings used as badminton courts. This will be a great idea for the owners since this is almost maintenance free. I don’t really know if we have this here in the country where I live, but I am hoping to see one. It’s about time we change the way buildings are built.

Safety First

My FIL is very familiar with the construction business. I can say that he is a contractor although he builds buildings only for the family. He’s built many houses and apartments already and he always sees to it that it’s above par. You know how it is when you hire a “commercial” contractor. Rumor has it that they normally construct buildings below par because they are thinking only of the profit they are going to make. Anyway let’s go back to this so called business of my FIL. He’s been building houses for the last 40 years and I can say that he’s always considerered the welfare of his workers. Safety is always his priority that’s why he really invested in these safety products. To this date, no accidents has happened. It really pays to have all the things needed in the construction business especially when it works around the safety of the people.

Metal Roofing

Had I known about metal roofing, we could have at least use this when we constructed the house. I read the specifications and it’s really something that we could have installed. Metal roofs are made to last decades. It allows one to save on the energy bill since its insulating properties result to lower heating and cooling costs. It comes in 20 different colors to match whatever color scheme you decide to have for your house. Installing a metal roof will allow you to save because you may never need to replace them.

Power Tools

I think I already mentioned in this blog how helpful it was having festool while we were constructing the house where we are staying right now. My husband decided to buy these tools for the carpenters to use. We were able to save on time, because it was much faster compared to the manual ones. The workmanship was even better. Now FIL is enjoying some of the tools we bought, we lent it to him for the same reason that he can save on time. If you want your carpenters to work faster, these tools are a must. You will be able to cut your construction time to half, therefore it will allow you to save on manpower.
