NYC Visit

Posted by girlie on December 31, 2008

Part of a stress free vacation is having your ground transfer taken care of. We normally do that on our trips outside the country. We don’t have relatives to fetch us in every destination we go to, tendency is I go online and look for the most affordable ground transfer. So far so good and I have nothing to complain. Now I’m thinking of getting this SUV car service nyc when our plan pushes through. My daughter will be graduating in High School next school year, and her Dad promised to bring us all to the US again. I feel like I am graduating with honors, LOL. The plan is we go east coast this time. The hubs was not able to go with us to Philly to visit my sisters. He was green with envy when we related our stories when we last visited them in 2005. Now it is in his itinerary, and of course New York too. The kids and I have been to New York, and we’d love to go back and visit the attractions we have missed. Yes, we didn’t see much of New York when we were last there, but I thank God for giving us the opportunity to go see it. It was actually an invitation from a very good friend Guigi. She took us around. Honestly I didn’t enjoy much, it was hard to appreciate having to tag along a 10 year old kid whose concern was just EB games, and he was very lazy to walk. I don’t have a problem with my daughter, since we love the same things. This time, when we get to visit NYC again, I will make sure that it’s gonna be one of the best things in my life. I will be back with a vengeance!!!

Why Bother?

I have a simple question for you guys. Whenever you travel, do you bother people to pick you up in the airport? Honestly, I do. And sometimes I even feel sad and disappointed when someone can’t pick me up. Well that was before, when I still didn’t know how busy people are especially in the US. When we stayed there for a month, I observed the kind of life people live there. And slowly I understood that I don’t have any reason to get disappointed. Time is really very important to them, and sometimes they do not even have time for themselves. Others hold two to three jobs and you can just imagine how tiring it is. It would be a lot of help when you just make use of the airport shuttle. It’s actually convenient, since they are going to drop you off to your destination. Now if any of you guys plan to go to NYC, I suggest you book Newark Airport Shuttle in advance. They have new and modern vans with a separate luggage compartment. You can make reservations 24/7. And best of all, they are on time. Nothing to worry about in other words. Oh before I forget, you can also book them if you plan to see the whole of NYC. They offer NYC Tours and Attractions. See you can go on your own without being a bother to your relatives and friends. Always remember that people in America do not really have the luxury of time. I can even say that 24 hours is not just enough for them. Now you get the picture, right?

Going Around New York City

Posted by girlie on July 17, 2008

When you ask a person of their must see places, New York will always be included in their list. I have yet to find someone who does not have the big apple in their list. It’s actually included in my list too, and I am fortunate enough that we (my kids and I) were invited by a friend to stay with her in New York for 2 days. Though we have not seen much of it, I still consider it as one of the most beautiful cities. I still have not crossed out/erased it in my list simply because I want to go back there. This time I will really spend time going to museums and all the other interesting places. There’s so much to see, I have to make sure that I will visit all the places mentioned in the books that I read which NYC is the setting.

Oh talking about NYC, I’ve come across this website that provides ground transportation whenever you are in New York. There is always an available Shuttle to JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Airports. And if it’s any consolation to you, they are an official permit holder by the Port Authority, meaning they are authorized to load and unload baggage in the inner curb. You don’t need to walk far just to be able to get your stuff inside the vehicle. And here’s another one, if you get to ask the hotels in New York for a reputable transportation, they would always recommend Go Airlink Shuttle.
