We got back last night. We only spent 2 nights in Baguio and we all miss the place. Or is it probably more of the stress-free vacation that we had? We seldom do this as a family, like travel just the four of us. We always tag along a nanny on local trips and it’s such as welcome treat not having one this time. It’s teaching my kids not to get dependent on their nanny. I saw that they can actually do more without her. One more thing that I enjoyed is being alone with my family. We can discuss anything under the sun, we need privacy too you know.
Anyway, we all decided to have this after Christmas holiday yearly. It’s something to look forward to and it’s a wonderful way to bond with the family.

Everyone of us wants to be debt free! That’s actually part of New Year’s resolution for many of us, me included. But do we really know how to go about it? Why do we still find ourselves drowning in debt even if we want to eliminate it? Do you think these debt free solutions will work? I wanna give it a try, seriously I wanna get rid of all my debts before 2012 ends. I know I don’t have the time to do it now, but hopefully I will be debt free in 2013. This is something to really look forward to.

The husband just recently bought a gps for her daughter to use. Yes, she knows how to drive but she doesn’t know how to go places. I admit, this gps thing is a big help especially for her. I guess it’s the same thing for truck owners to install gps for trucks. Those drivers don’t need to go in circles when new to the place. I think most vehicles nowadays have this gps thing and it proves only one thing, it’s really very useful.

Weeeeeee! I am pretty excited. I’ve converted finally! I don’t know what to expect although I already have an idea, both husband and daughter are mac users. Ish is going to give me a tutorial because I know it will kinda be hard for me especially the synching and all. My first ever Mac will arrive this January from the US coz I asked the husband’s friend to buy it for me there. I asked him to buy a keyboard too. How I wish I could let him buy the monitor for me, but as it is I no longer have a budget for than. I am getting a generic one. I am very thankful for the writing tasks that I regularly have because it lets me buy some stuff that I really like. See, I am not too dependent after all like what everyone thinks.

I am very fond of unique items. I really spend time looking for them since I want to be the only one who has it. Do you get that feeling sometimes? I have a lot of overwhelming experiences when it comes to unique items. I love the compliments that I get more than anything else. It’s hard to score one and it’s an effort on my part and that’s the reason why I feel so happy when it gets appreciated. When it comes to jewelry, I am the same too. I want my setting to be different from the rest. I want the color combination to be unique too. In other words I really think hard about the designs so that I will be the only one who has it. I also go for items that I think people do not know yet. I want to be the first one to discover it, well at least among friends and acquaintances. Take for example these Glass Pendants, I don’t see pretty much of these nowadays. I don’t see them hanging on people’s necks. Seeing the colors and shapes, it makes me want to own one and be the first among the rest. This is not widely used here in the country that I live in, so I want to be the first to introduce it to them.

Both my kids got into music, well at least they tried. My eldest chose the guitar, while my youngest picked the violin. Due to lack of time, they never really got into it. I am sure though that one of these days they will go back to it. I wonder if my boy would ask me to purchase an Ibanez Bass, since it’s really him who is so much interested for now. I wouldn’t question that, I’d rather have him go into music than anywhere else. This is the reason why I support my children when it comes to music. Well not only that, it’s probably because I was into music too in my younger days, and I got the support of my parents.

Thinking of giving something cool for Christmas or any occasion for that matter? I would suggest burning a couple of your favorite songs. I’ve seen a lot of this being done in weddings. The couple would have CDs as their giveaways. It’s not hard doing this stuff nowadays and you can even do it at the last minute what with thefast cd duplication we have. Anything is possible now I should say. I’d love receiving this kind of presents as I am into music a lot. I guess everyone would be appreciative of this since music is universal. What do you say to this?

Wow! Time goes by pretty fast. I just remembered celebrating the yuletide season not too long ago. Is it because we’re too busy that we don’t notice how time flies? Sometimes I don’t really know if I like it or not. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. I don’t because I hate the fact that my kids are growing up too fast and before I know it they will have a family of their own. Yikes, why am I even thinking about this, no not yet. Anyway, I am excited because this is my favorite part of the year. I get to see all my loved ones because of family gatherings here and there. Oh this reminds me of my sisters whom I have not seen in 3 years. I miss them terribly. Hopefully I get to see them soon.

I grew up appreciating jewelry be it the real ones or the fancy ones. It’s probably because I often see my Mom and my Aunts wear them. Now it can be told that my love from jewelry came from them. I started with earrings. I think it’s standard for a female child getting their ears pierced before they turn 7. I had mine before I turned 7, and I had my daughter’s ears pierced when she was a baby, a few days after she was born. Then comes other jewelry. I remember my Mom letting me wear a Cross Neckalce Pendant, and I was just so proud of it. I still have it with me until now. I think all four girls in our family wore one. I just don’t remember if others wore fancy. Well my other sister wore something like this Gold Cross Neckalce Pendant I found online. Funny that up until now I find myself still looking for a unique Silver Cross Neckalce Pendant which I can let my daughter use. I guess it’s the fascination for a cross pendant which I grew up with. Now I can see my daughter’s love for it as well. I bet this love for jewelry will carry on from generation to generation. I just can tell.
