I Talk About it All the Time

Posted by girlie on May 25, 2011

I know, you’ve been reading a lot on here of me wanting to lose weight. Truth be told, I’ve been really trying but it seems like I’m not getting what I really want. Honestly I am too cared to take anything for weight loss, what I do is the natural way. Now I’m thinking, what if I try this sensa weight loss product. I see a lot of this on the internet and some say that it’s effective. Not unless I try, I wouldn’t be able to say if it is indeed effective or not. Now the question is, when will I have the guts to take anything for weight loss. Probably soon because I get tired thinking about it.

A Job Offer

Posted by girlie on

My SIL is in the healthcare industry. She’s been with it ever since I remember. She has always been given trophies for being the number one when it comes to sales. I wonder if she’s interested in one of these healthcare jobs I found online. I think this will be a great opportunity for her. If she was able to make it big here, then she’ll make it big anywhere. She has numerous clients and she was able to maintain them through the years and it means only one thing. She does good in this line of work.

Too Girlie-Gurl

Posted by girlie on May 21, 2011

Photobucket How do you like my sandals? Too girlie-gurl? I love it! I don’t really use sandals that much but when I saw this at my favorite shop in Hong Kong, I couldn’t help myself from buying it. Good thing they had my size otherwise I would really feel bad.

The Internet Junkie in Me

Posted by girlie on

Being the internet junkie that I am, I often discover a lot of websites. I think it has become a favorite hobby of mine. It’s not really that I don’t do anything, but being a stay-at-home Mom allows me to do just that. I’ve learned a lot from the websites I visit and it keeps me updated with what’s new in the market. You see I don’t really go out a lot so there is no way of finding out except from the internet. Take for example these exit signs, I didn’t know that some places only use approved signs by their state. This would be nice to look at since it would be uniform. Aside from that I really do not know why there should be an approved one. I think that’s what I need to look up.

Featured Blogger in Scrubs

Posted by girlie on

I know I shared this with some of you already, but for those ones who still do not know, let me share it once more. I was the featured blogger for my country over at blogspot. This was actually one of the highlights of my blogging experience. I was barely new at blogging and I was still learning the ropes. For me to be featured was something else and that is why I really can’t forget it. Anyway, they got snippets from all my blog posts and I remember them mentioning that I love sleeping in scrub suit. They even grabbed the picture and posted it. Had I known, I should have worn one of these Marcus scrubs. What I wore that time was very simple, simple meaning it was very plain and unattractive. I didn’t have a choice because that was what I had. It was actually given by my BIL who is a doctor. It would have been more pleasing to the eyes if I wore a Marcus one. I like it with print with lots of color.

We Welcome You

I recently saw one of the birth announcements sent my cousin. I wasn’t really surprised when I read it simply because I already knew about the baby which she shared in Facebook. When I got hold of the card, I started wondering how come I didn’t come up with something like this with my two kids. I guess it’s not really an in thing here, although I have a few friends who did it. Too bad I am not going to have a baby anymore, I’ll just probably reserve the idea for my grandchildren in the future. No, it’s too early to even think about it.

Matching!

Posted by girlie on May 18, 2011

Photobucket Hey look! My nails match my new rubber shoes. I got excited when I saw it at our favorite nail polish shop in Hong Kong. It’s called Shatter by OPI. I also have the silver one but have not actually tried it on. I like the effect on my nails, it looks like the polish cracked. And of course the shoes! I usually buy a pair of Adidas training shoes whenever I’m in Hong Kong. The styles there are different compared to what we have here. I find it more stylish. If only I can bring home more than a pair, then I’d be very happy. But thing is, it’s gonna be very expensive already.

The Boy’s Needs

Posted by girlie on

School will start in a month. This is usually the time when I buy new stuff for my boy. This does not happen every year though because sometimes there is no need to buy a new one. I only buy stuff when it does not fit him anymore. I went through his things and I found out that he needs new set of underwear. I normally buy 3 dozens to last him the whole year. If it still fits him, then he still can use it the following year. You see we need to find ways and means to stretch our budget. So for stuff that does not need replacement, I don’t usually buy. My boy has a favorite brand and I usually buy it. I don’t go for different brands anymore because he has this habit of sticking to the brand that he already tried. In this case, his current favorite now is fruit of the loom. I can understand why he likes it a lot. It’s soft to the skin. My son has very sensitive skin so he prefers soft clothing. I have tried it myself in fact I have a few undershirts of the same brand. He has tried the boys underwear already and he likes it. Hopefully I find another time to go to the mall. I hope the weather cooperates too, it’s hard to be out when it’s very sunny!

In Times of Need

Emergency! Someone has to be brought to the hospital! Oh no! I don’t even have money for stuff like this. Have you ever been in this situation? Remember not everything is covered by your insurance. Anyway, let me share with you some kind of a solution to this problem or any monetary problem for that matter. Did you know that you can avail of instant cash advance? Everything can be done online so it’s really hassle-free. All you need to do is complete the online application. You’ll even be surprised with the waiting period. It’s like no waiting period at all because you get approved instantly. You can get your cash advance right after getting approved. You don’t even need to go out of your house because your cash advance is credited straight to your bank account. Hassle-free indeed. It’s cool that everything is made easy for us. It’s no joke encountering monetary emergencies, who knows what’s going to happen if we get stressed worrying about these things, right? We should be thankful to companies like this, we don’t even need to bother other people. They too have their own set of monetary problems, and yes that is a given already. Oh just to let you know, if you are in a bad credit situation, don’t worry, they have a special arrangement for you.

A Special Mother’s Day

Posted by girlie on

Photobucket I got to ride Space Mountain on my 3rd visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. The kids wanted Mother’s Day to be memorable that’s why they insisted that I conquer my fear. I was like uhhmm ok whatever! Little did they know that I was really a scaredy cat. I didn’t show it to them instead I kept on talking only to forget about my fears. Then it was our turn. I didn’t have any hesitations whatever. I thought why not enjoy the ride, after all there were senior citizens who took the ride and they survived and they looked like they had fun. Now I can understand the happy faces of the people, it was an awesome ride! It wasn’t as bad as I thought, and yes you can let me ride again….talking about conquered fear on Mother’s Day.

GPS Now Working

Posted by girlie on May 12, 2011

The husband ordered a gps from his friend and it finally arrived two weeks ago. He immediately went online to find an app for it. He got a bit disappointed because the apps available were not quite complete. I’m talking about the map of our country. For a nominal fee, he was able to get complete one and it’s now working fine. Speaking of gps, I didn’t know that there is such as thing as golf gps apps. Thought it was only for cars and stuff. I was surprised to find it online when I was trying to figure out how a gps works. Cool isn’t it? This will probably give the player an edge over his opponent who does not have one.

I Still Prefer Woody Effect

Posted by girlie on May 6, 2011

I visited a condo unit very recently. I can’t help but notice how cozy it was. It actually made me want to live in that beautiful place. I think I got attracted to the wooden floors. Even before, I have come to like it. It’s probably because I grew up in a house with nice shiny wooden floors. Now I can’t help but wish, hoping that we can make use of pergo flooring. It’s actually similar to what we had when I was a kid. I can probably start with the bedrooms and who knows I can make the husband agree to have the entire house use it. Ahhh, I will be waiting for that day!

Addicted Still

Posted by girlie on May 5, 2011

It’s not what you think, ok? Well I am talking about this game in Facebook that I have come to like. I think I’ve been playing Farmville since the day it was introduced. There are times that I want to quit, but I don’t know why I can’t do so. Must be the community of players where I belong. It’s fun, I like the sharing part. New items go in circles, if you know what I mean. So far I have yet to meet a player I don’t like. Everyone in my circle is superb, so probably I am enjoying the interaction so much. Lambs and pigs are a bonus, teehee!
