Do you still give presents on Vee day? I stopped for a while but I plan to do it again this year. Nothing expensive though but I plan to give something personalized. I don’t know but whenever I get something that is personalized I find it very special. I get this feeling that the sender really made an effort. I found a few ideas on what to give, but too bad they don’t ship where I stay right now. Nevertheless, I want to share with you coupons for personal creations, this is where I got some pretty ideas on what to give. Anything personalized, they have it and for all occasions at that.

The daughter requested/insisted that we bake last Saturday. She wanted to make some blueberry muffins and sugar cookies. Ok, so we did. It’s the first time that she stayed through the baking session. Honestly I wasn’t that confident because it’s the first time that I’m doing muffins. I have no idea how it will turn out plus I can’t find any fresh blueberries. I used the bottled one which was more like a jam. Not bad for a first timer. I will be doing it again.

There is this thing about me that when I go on vacation I don’t like to use the hotel’s toiletries. I end up bringing my own. I normally buy shampoo and conditioner in sachets, but sometimes I find it hard to open them. You’ll find it funny when I tell you that I use my teeth to open it. Barbaric, isn’t it? I know there are Travel Products that I can use. I am actually considering buying one. These squeezable GoToob are cool. It has a no drip opening so you don’t need to worry about dripping and all. I also like the idea the that those tubes have suction caps which can be mounted on the wall. It’s so convenient. How about you? How do you organize your travel stuff?

My sister was stricken with a rare disease. I was crying almost everyday just thinking about her. There was a time when she couldn’t be diagnosed and it got really frustrating. She was confined in the hospital for a month. She has not completely recovered yet and I’m not very sure if she filed for social security disability. She wasn’t given the go signal by her physicians to go back to work yet. She can’t drive too because her vision was affected. We are praying for complete healing and I know that nothing is impossible with God.

Ok, I started bloghopping again, this time from the Bloggers Exchange. I don’t know how I can manage to read all 100 blogs, but I will try my best. I haven’t done this in a long time and I’m pretty much excited and looking forward to meet new friends. Pardon me if I can’t visit all of you in one day, but will try to do so in the following days to come. I don’t want to visit just for the sake of it, but I want to know all of you more.

Who among you is into cigars? The husband was into it a few years back when he was still working for this writer. He would cover events of different sorts, one of them an event that introduces cigars to the public. Not many are into it, so this is probably the reason why they held such events. I was able to go with the husband in one of the events and that is where I first tasted it. It’s entirely different from cigs and in my opinion, it would take long before I will get used to it. Nah, I already quit smoking so I don’t think I can go into cigars.

Up until now, we still cannot talk about death openly. I find it morbid like everyone else in the family. It’s inevitable yet we find it hard to talk about it. We start to panic when death is happening. Sometimes we are not even ready when someone faces death in the family. I wish I can work on this and start saving up or setting aside money for funeral expenses. I don’t want to be caught penniless in occasions like this. To me if I can make it beautiful, I will. This would be our last tribute to someone we will dearly miss and love.

Finally! The waiting game is over. I now have it on my hands and I am totally enjoying it. Yeah I talk like I didn’t own an iPhone before, fact is I just made an upgrade. This is how I miss my phone because my life depended on it, so to speak. It takes away my boredom. It’s like everything I need is there. Happiness! Yes, happiness!

I am fat alright! But did you know that I still take my vitamins? I just want to make sure that I get all the nutrients that I need. Let’s face it, we do not get all the nutrients from the food we eat. It is sometimes stripped probably from the way it is being cooked. The chemicals that is being put can also strip it of it’s vitamins and minerals. So this is the reason why I still take my vitamins. How about you? Do you still bother to take your vitamins?

If you have seen my face lately, you won’t miss up on my acne. Seriously, you can even see it on the video cam. That was what my sister told me when she first saw me on video while we were enjoying skype. I know, was my answer. I’ve been putting acne solution so in a day or two it will go away. That’s what I told her. True enough it subsided but didn’t go away. It was just too big to go away in 2 days. Crazy acne is all I can say, you ruin my day!

I noticed that I kinda lost interest in blogging already. Yeah I still update my blogs once in a while but the passion is lost already. I remember back in 2004 when I started blogging, it was like my life was dependent to it. It was a passion to the highest level. I would create entries sometimes 3 times a day. I just had 1 blog at that time, so 3 entries is not really too much. Anyway, I plan to bring back that passion, maybe not to the highest level but at least I promised myself to go back to blogging. I will lessen my time at FB but will never be able to totally leave it. I was thinking, those one liners in FB could be expounded in my blogs, right? That’s a good way to start!

I was talking with my sister the other day and she asked me which mobile phone should she get. I suggested an iPhone4 since she wants to have instant internet access. To me it’s really convenient and it comes in handy when you want to look for something on the internet. I also suggested for her to take a look at this unlocked phone since it fits her requirements too. She is still undecided and I haven’t checked on her if she made up her mind already.

It’s the time of the year again. I dread this month to come simply because everything turns abnormal. Schedules are messed up, I can’t have my normal daily routine, I’m always out in the streets either driving or simply taking the public transportation. We’re on our second week already and I feel a bit sad. I just have to shake off this feeling, I know it’s gonna be over soon.
