Oh No!

My daughter got her schedule for her finals for the 1st semester. Just as I though, the schedule I got from DFA for the renewal of her passport falls on one of her exam dates. Good thing I anticipated it and chose 3:30 as the appointment time. Her exams end at 11 am so we still have ample time to have lunch and proceed to DFA. My son is also renewing his passport, but I don’t know the schedule of his 2nd grading periodical tests. I hope it does not fall on the same day, or if ever I hope by that time he’ll only have classes in the morning too.
Why is it so hard to get or renew a passport? Other countries can release the passport on the same day you applied. I wonder when will this ever happen in this country!

In the US, it’s taking more time to renew a passport than applying for the 1st time. Pero ang napansin ko dito sa Pinas, mas madaming requirements…..ano ba yan?
