Female Body Builder
Posted by girlie on September 16, 2010
Seriously I want to have a body similar to a female body builder, not the ones who look like men already, but someone who still looks feminine despite the muscles. But how can I obtain that when I hate lifting weights? I do a little weights on the side when I go to the gym, like prolly twice a week but is that enough? Others suggest that I have protein drinks so it can help build the muscles that I want. I’m not sure though if I do get all the protein my body needs in a day. I have to look into this so it wouldn’t post a problem when I start having my protein supplements.

Don’t worry about losing your feminine looks. Lifting weights doesn’t cause women to grow big muscles like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Testosterone, the male hormone (and usually steroids) gives male bodybuilders big bulky muscles. You’ll get leaner by lifting weights. Picture Angelina Jolie’s character in the movie Salt. You can get good results by lifting weights 2 times per week, but 3 weight lifting workouts, with rest days in between, is even better. The best protein shake is 1 scoop of whey protein, mixed your favorite juice or milk and taken within one hour of your workout. Whey protein is absorbed quickly and helps repair and grow your muscles.
