My Love for Gold

Sure diamond is a girl’s best friend as they say, but I’d rather have gold. I don’t know if you are like me but I like investing in gold whether in jewelry or in any other form. Right now my gold is in the form of jewelry but I also have a gold coin given to me by my father-in-law. I’m keeping it to give to my daughter when she’s a bit older. What about my son you might ask, his Dad can take care of that, he has one too.

Anyway, did you know that gold has been used for centuries in preserving one’s wealth? This is still being practiced until now. This is probably the reason why gold is a popular safe investment. It’s safe in the sense that it is highly liquid. It can be disposed of anytime. If you are badly in need, gold can come to the rescue. I’ve seen someone in this kind of situation and I can say that it has helped them a lot. I have actually learned a lesson or two with what I have witnessed. One is that if I have money, it’s wise to invest in gold. My father-in-law mentioned this to us too and his reason is the price of gold. In all it’s history, the price either remains the same or goes up.
