Learning Online

Posted by girlie on July 17, 2010

Maybe some of you haven’t finished college yet and would want to have a degree. Some of you may even have plans to further your studies, like a Master’s degree perhaps? Or some may want to add another degree to their name (second course). Well I am one of that some I am talking about. Actually it has been my desire not just to get a diploma for college but to either add another one or to take Master’s Degree. Thing is, I got a job right after I graduated from college and that I enjoyed my work a lot that I set aside that desire to further my studies. Then came marriage, then kids. You know how it is when you’re starting a family, you tend to focus on them forgetting about your dreams and just work on fulfilling your child’s dreams. I became busy that I didn’t have time to pursue that dream, plus the fact that it was so impossible to go back to school with all the responsibilities on my shoulders. I didn’t really think about classes online at that time. All I thought was that how can I be physically present in the campus when I don’t even have the time during the day. Now that there are a lot on online classes being offered, then the possibility of learning another degree is not remote. A lot of people in the working class have considered this possibility. They work during the day, and study at night or anytime that is most convenient to them. All you need is a computer where you can do all you learning. This means that you can study anywhere, and at any time that is most convenient for you. This is perfect for mothers who can squeeze in learning in between naps and taking care of the family. Don’t you think this is a good idea? Getting a degree isn’t impossible anymore if you claim that you don’t have the time to be physically present in school.
