I Was There

Initially my plan was to attend the Inaugural Street Party. But when I found out that Cuz and her party will attend the Inaugural at the Luneta Grandstand, I decided to join them. We were not even near the stage, we didn’t take a glimpse of the President, we only saw him in the giant screen which was actually good enough for me. We were content by just listening to the songs and his speech. He had a very promising speech - saying that we the people are his boss and that we should be working hand in hand by doing our part as responsible filipinos while he does his duties as the President. I don’t find his speech sugar-coated, it was more like what is really true. We are all hoping that by God’s grace, the President will be able to lead this country in accordance to God’s will.
