Roadtrip: 1st Leg
Posted by girlie on April 13, 2010
We went on a roadtrip to celebrate the 68th birthday of my MIL. Instead of having a party, she opted for a vacation instead. First leg of the roadtrip was spent in Anvaya Cove in Bataan. We went there via Subic. It took us about 2.5 hours to get there using SCTEX. We had so much fun, enjoyed the beach and the pool a lot. Dinner was yummy too. Since there was nothing to do there after 10 pm, we decided to go down Subic and have a drink. We went to Lighthouse and there we saw Bro. Mike Velarde. Thought it was ok to have our picture taken. Well it was, but it wasn’t a welcome treat. I greeted him the moment we were beside him, no reaction from him, he didn’t even look at us. Ok maybe he just didn’t hear us. After the shot was taken, I said thank you. Still no reaction from him, he didn’t even look at us. So what do you call that kind of person? Was he born without any social graces? Isn’t he a public figure having led El Shaddai and the representative of a party list? What’s a hello and a you’re welcome? Just three words compared to the long sermon he gives during their services. Hmmm, maybe he was not just taught well.

OMG! No social graces. I remembered getting the attention of FG Arroyo when I saw him at St. Luke’s.I greeted him “Good Morning Sir!”, Nilingon pa ako and said ” Oh Hi!!!”, sick pa yun ha.

grabe di ba Cuz? di ba when someone greets you, you have to greet back or acknowledge man lang, more so preacher ka pa. he’s treated like a king, hindi angkop. Kung si Jesus nga mingled with the poor and the thieves dapat he should follow suit.
