My Thoughts on Life Insurance

I grew up in a family that does not have life insurance. Mom and Dad didn’t have one. I really don’t know if they do not believe in it or if they just don’t have spare money at that time to pay for it. But I am very proud and happy that even at that time my Dad passed away in 2006 without an insurance, he left us with a sum of money that made my Mom’s life comfortable. It would have been better though if he had insurance. This is the reason why I want to get myself a life insurance. I can leave it with the kids when I’m gone. It can help them in one way or another. To me getting an insurance is a form of savings. I will be forced to set aside a sum of money instead of spending on unnecessary things.
