Registration for 2010

Eversince I got married in 1992, I stopped voting. Not that I didn’t want to, but it was just incovenient going all the way to the place where I used to live. I had my chance to transfer, but later chose not to since I don’t get excited anymore exercising my right to vote. Well not this year although I found out late already that there was a satellite registration over at our barangay. At 4 pm I rushed to the barangay office to fill out forms and in about half an hour I was already a registered voter. I’m glad that I did it earlier, I knew that there would be a huge crowd on the last minute, knowing how our kababayans are. That’s why I really got irked by this lady on tv who said she’s giving up because of this and that. Imho, you don’t have the right to complain really, it was your choice to go at the last minute. Don’t tell me you didn’t expect that or were you born yesterday? Moral of the story, if you don’t want to wait in line and if you are impatient and don’t want to be inconvenieced, you don’t need to wait for the last minute, ok?
