I only have the leggings and the dress, don’t scream it’s not the same dress. Of course I can’t afford all the items I posted. I am just lucky that I found a dress similar to that, I said similar. Oh the bag? It’s a dream, will remain a dream until Ish graduates from law school and find a decent job. By then I would be a happy Momma, owning a real Chanel Caviar Quilted Bag…haha I so wish!

Human growth hormones…you are needed in the Vee family. I am not saying that one in the family has human growth disorder. Oh did I just say that? Seriously Ish would really be interested in finding out what the best hgh is. Of course she wants her “height” problem solved. I think I will need it too, not for height or anything but aging and weight management, oh don’t forget the skin too. See I told you, it is really needed in the Vee family.

We were all so sad when we passed by Banawe. The kids saw Ondoy’s aftermath for real. That’s only in Banawe…I could imagine their heart break when they see probably Marikina, Cainta, Antipolo and all the cities that were hard hit. Yep it’s indeed heartbreaking, watching the news make me cry all the time. But today felt good…knowing that there are a lot of people who have responded to the call to help the typhoon victims. Boxes overflowed, I was a bit emotional seeing all the help extended when I delivered our share of help over at GMA Kapuso Foundation. Here’s hoping that people don’t get tired helping people in need.

With what happened recently here in our country, everyone who was affected wished they had insurance. If I were in their shoe, I would have wished that I had one too. What happened was really devastating. Lives were taken, personal belongings lost, and properties were damaged. I think by now a lot of us have learned our lessons already. If only we had something like www.wholesaleinsurance.net where it’s very easy to get quotes online, it would have been a lot easier to recover. We would have found out that having insurance is kinda affordable and very useful. Well it’s not yet too late. We can still look into this and probably buy insurance so we can use it in the future. It’s better to be safe than sorry as they always say.

Times are hard. A lot of crimes are committed. Is it because a lot of people are jobless? Is it because they are lazy? Is it because they are consumed by drugs? I’d say it’s all of the above so to speak. It’s just scary that we are not even sure of our security anymore. We hear a lot of horror stories and even watch it on television, how people get killed by these bad elements. Some even force themselves to get inside houses. Robbers think of new schemes on how to victimize households. It’s really scary if you think of it. I know of a lot of people who have installed Video Door Intercom already. This is very helpful I should say. Before you let someone in, you see their face already. Yeah this is a good idea. If I have enough money, I think I would install one in our house too. By doing this, I can avoid a lot of things security wise. It would be nice to think that I won’t be going down anymore to ask who is that someone in the gate especially for those ones who are not expected. There are a lot of benefits when a video door intercom is installed. At least fear of getting some bad elements inside the house is reduced. It’s a plus factor security wise.

Nah, I am not addicted at all! I just love to stare at them. Ahem! Seriously I just can’t get enough of bottles and bottles of nail polish. Good thing they are not really that expensive, they are dirt cheap! Most of them cost only P10 (20 cents), small bottles though but still. As you can see, I almost have all the colors. What’s next to it? Nail art of course! Yep I do my own nail art, a bit messy when it comes to my right fingers but I’m improving.
That’s my bluer than blue version. It’s a random design that I thought of, I wish I was more artistic and not copy designs from my nail art book. But meantime, lemme just be a copycat!

I have to practice saying this line…I’m trying to convince people that I did not put on weight. Geez everyone who sees me only have one thing to say. “Ang taba taba mo!” in English, you are fat lady, extra fat! I now wonder… Do I really need diet pills? Yes I am alarmed coz I can’t stop stuffing my mouth with food. If the trend goes this way, then I’ll be as huge as a whale in no time. Quite exaggerating huh. I know my sister would laugh really hard coz I always tease her when she puts on weight.

I so envy my daughter, she was able to try almost all the rides in Disneyland. Well that happened on her second visit to the United States. She really had fun she said. She was able to go to the other side (unfair!), that side which I have not set my foot in. It’s just huge that one can’t get to finish the place in a day. Best suggestion is to stay at this Disneyland hotel if you really want to enjoy to the fullest. I will keep that in mind next time we visit Disneyland. As they say no one is too old for Disney!

Excuse the mess in the background. I’m at my daughter’s room, no I’m not saying that she doesn’t fix her stuff 0_0 . Well I posted that photo because I’ve been really obsessed with black clothes lately. It’s like whenever I go out, you’ll always see me in black. Good thing that in one of my shopping trips over at 168, I found at least 3 simple yet cute black dresses, one that can double up as a top when worn with leggings or something. I just love it, and the best part is I bought it only for two hundred fifty pesos (that’s about $6). It looks similar with that Zara top I’m wearing, the only difference is with the material, well what do you expect, right?

I really love the outdoors. I can stay out the whole afternoon seating on this patio furniture dreaming. Yes, it’s a big dream for me to own a property with a huge lawn where I can hold barbecue parties, or simply an afternoon of tea with my amigas. Haha, I sound so old saying the word amigas. But really, I would love them to come over and enjoy a simple afternoon. I just like a simple life, with a loving family to keep me company. I’m looking forward to playing with my grandchildren in that huge lawn I am dreaming of.

I called Mom’s house just this evening. She thought I didn’t know. Of course I do, I’m normally online. Anyway, it was my brother who answered the phone. And guess what? He told me to go on diet. How dare him. But yeah, come to think of it, if I don’t stop eating I will be needing one of these best diet pills. I don’t know, but I think I am an emotional eater if there is such. I eat to take out the stress, and look what has become…danggit!

Oh yeah I had a haircut, a short one. It happened 2 weeks ago. The people from FB know coz I posted some photos there. Dang! Why do I always think that everyone is in Facebook? Angge I know I promised to post a picture here in my blog, but then a lot of things come up, like taking care of my cyber farm both in Farmtown and Farmville. Geez, talking about getting addicted to these FB games. Used to be Restaurant City and Pet Society, now it’s farming. Hhmm I’m thinking of having it cut again, I mean my hair probably in a few weeks, like put bangs perhaps?

I really love their slogan. It’s quite interesting at the same time eye catching. It would definitely intrigue you. I’m talking about Murray Feiss, the home fashion for life. They do exceptional indoor and outdoor lighting. A lot of American homes have been using this, I actually didn’t notice if my sisters are using it. I think my stay with them is too short that I hardly noticed anything in their home.

I thought I had a double boiler, nah it wasn’t in the set of stainless steel pans my MIL gave us. But this didn’t stop me from making chocolate mousse. Think quick! That’s what I did so the steam won’t come out on the sides. Voila! I now have melted chocolates.
I find the decorator bag hard to use, so when I found that tube at some baking store, I didn’t hesitate to get one. And this is less messy I think, and easier to use. It’s fun doing the chocolate mousse. Thank God there are cheap hand mixers, it’s been my dream to own one.
Look at my finish product! Yum! Everyone liked it, the hubs even had 3 servings, so did Josh. Me and Ish had 2 only.

Is the hoodia diet pills included in the top 10 list of effective fat burners or weight loss pill? I’ve actually heard a lot about this item, and I’m getting interested now. Blame it on the extra pounds I gained. Now I am no longer comfortable about my body weight. This is my heaviest so far and the bulges I see around do not make me happy. I need to put off a few inches, so maybe this time I will not get lazy on finding out what diet pill is really effective.

I just love this dress. It’s actually a sweater dress, yeah you read it right, a sweater dress. A dress perfect for a cold weather. It’s going to be autumn in countries that experience four seasons and this dress is just right. I love the style too, see the details in front? It hides my unwanted bulges. Who says you can’t dress well with bulges left and right. It’s a matter of choosing the perfect style for it. I actually found that dress while browsing some womens dresses. It caught my attention the first time I saw it online. There are more beautiful dresses that I saw but I limited myself to like only one. I don’t need to tell you the reason why, haha. Anyways, maybe you might want to take a look at these womens sweaters. I browsed through some too since my daughter Ish is fond of sweaters lately. It’s like an addiction to her. Whenever we go to the mall the first section she checks is women’s clothing particularly the sweater section. I wish I had plenty moolah since I found a few womens jackets of my liking. There’s one that I found that I really liked. The cut is just right for my physique, and the color, a nice shade of khaki. Haha I know you are already intrigued by all the descriptions I made, well I am just excited, you know.

This is one of the things I learned from my short “culinary” experience. When cooking steaks, one should achieve the criss-cross design for some appeal. I actually didn’t notice this whenever I eat steaks, probably I was too hungry to notice. As they say, part of what makes steak expensive is that effect. Now whenever I cook, I am practicing what I have learned. I’m beginning to be more and more artistic in the kitchen. Can I say that I am now hard to please? My answer to that is…it depends. If I’m too hungry, why should I look for the aesthetic side…too hungry to notice like what I’ve said. And oh, I did that when I served fish steak, but was too hungry to take photos, teehee!

How important is health insurance to you? Do you ever realize that this is sort of a protection for you and your family? You might not see the need until someone in the family gets sick and you have no money to finance the hospital bills, or something to that effect. We do not actually know when we’re going to need it, since we do not know when we are going to get sick. But it pays to be prepared most of the time. With health insurance in mind, there is no delay in bringing our sick loved ones to the hospital. Sometimes the lack of money delays us from saving lives. We can all avoid that scenario by considering getting health insurance for our respective families and our employees. I saw some impressive quotes from Coventry Health Care, they are actually affordable with a very reasonable coverage. You can actually inquire or request for quotes online and they will deliver it right in your inbox. There is no need to go to their office, this is convenience at it’s best. You might want to explore everything that is being offered, who knows you will find the best health insurance coverage you have been looking for, just the one right for your budget.

I’m the shortest among my siblings. I stand 5′3″ or I’d like to think I stand as tall as that, haha. Maybe I’m between 5′2″ and 5′3″, yeah that’s the safest answer when asked about my height. Now my point is, I’d like my daughter to be taller than me. Yep that is my wish, but it seems like I won’t be able to get my wish. She just turned 16 and she’s like what? Five flat? Do you think she’ll grow taller? I’ve given her vitamins to help her grow taller. I even brought her to this chinese doctor recommended by my friend. I think it helped her grow taller, but just a little teeny weeny bit. Out of frustration, or should I say out of my desire for her to grow taller, I’ve been reading and searching about human growth hormone. I’ve read a few information about it but I need to read more. I found out too that one cannot make enough growth hormone on their own that’s why a human growth hormone is needed. I will really have to look into this since my daughter really wants to grow taller. There is no harm in trying but it is recommended that you go and see your doctor first since some tests will be given before one can take this human growth hormone.

Finally I am done with my commercial cooking (hot and cold kitchen). It took me 9 days to finish the short course. I learned a lot actually and I am very thankful to ABS CBN Bayan Academy, Ms. Joy Belmonte and PGMA for giving me the opportunity. I took the TESDA assessment on Sunday and I am glad to announce that I passed it. I now have the Certificate of Competency. I still have to take up Baking so I can have the National Certificate 2 and I can work anywhere, here and abroad.
