I have decided of late that I don’t want to indulge in the fitness activity I am currently into. I think I just want to do it at home with the help of this fitness equipment. I have heard a lot of success stories from people who has been doing it at home and I am truly inspired. If they can do it, then I can too. I have started it actually like a couple of weeks ago already, though not a regular thing right now because of issues I am involved in, but hopefully I will be able to come back.

I dreaded this day to come, not because I can’t accept the fact that I’m turning a year older. There’s actually so much to be thankful for, for one it was another year that I got to spend with the kids, my joy and pride. Second, I am blessed with good health…and so much more.
I spent it at a very unusual manner, quite sad but if I think about it now I am still very happy coz I am now definite of one thing important in my life. Yes technically I am 43, but deep in my heart I am only 42 for the day has stopped on the 18th of June.

I love visiting beautiful houses and it’s a never ending admiration. I tell you it does not stop there. I still buy magazines, again to appreciate all that I see and at the same time get ideas. Lately there’s this website about home design that I frequent. I love all the suggestions I read, I love all the pictures they post, I love the idea, in other words I love the website. Everything they feature from wall decors down to beds to furniture…everything is just awesome. Everything is unique, a lot of items I’ve been seeing for the first time. They always come up with something new to put in your house. There’s a lot more you will discover when you visit this website. They have cool tips, something really useful. They also feature things that make your homes beautiful without hurting your pockets. Now you are probably seeing already why I talk so much about this website. And I bet you already have developed a likeness for it too. If you love to decorate and fix your homes, then get ideas from it. These are not just some ideas…it’s awesome ideas, something beyond your imagination, something that is always new to you, something that you see first time. I am just happy to have found this blog, even if I don’t get to go out much, at least I am updated when it comes to the latest trends in home design.

Did you ever dream of riding a horse? Is it part of your wishlist? I did, and yeah it was part of my wishlist or things I want to do before I die. I was able to do it, but it would have been more fun and memorable if I wore breeches so I’d look more professional than something else. Whenever I see people in the movies riding horses complete with gear and everything, I’d always ask myself…will I be able to do that? Of course each of us dream one way or another, it’s fun you know.

Remember this weekend snapshot entry a few weeks back? Tada, that is the beadwork that I did. Nope I didn’t sew the gown nor the cocktail dress but I was the one who suggested the design, of course where else do I pick…internet! I also helped buy the fabric. I was also deeply touched by the appreciation of the Mom of the debutante who is the first cousin of Nelson. I don’t know but I am just happy doing small things like this. I want to be of help all the time and I always volunteer when it comes to such stuff. My MIL knows about this that’s why she always has me in mind whenever someone goes to her for help.

What makes ephedra diet pills controversial? I have read and heard about it and it really makes me wonder. Have you tried using this? Is it as effective as they claim to be? I have heard too that this was discontinued because of some FDA issues. Very controversial indeed. But did you know that some people still use it despite the fact that it didn’t pass FDA’s standards? Actually it has it’s pros and cons so it’s up to you to decide really. Oh let me just remind you that you need to consult your doctors first before trying out different products. it’s SOP you know.

Just last night someone commented that I gained weight. I didn’t feel bad because I know that it’s true and that I am not doing anything about it. It’s fun to eat you know and I can’t stop myself from enjoying all the food. Someone suggested that I take appetite suppressants, she said it would help. Now that left me thinking…am I really that big compared to like six months ago? I’d like to answer no, but I have to face the fact that I will get there if I don’t stop binge eating.

I’d like to believe that my face has improved a lot. Well some have noticed it, some didn’t, some refused, and some have something else to say. I’m glad that after using the product for more than a year, there is a visible result. I’ve been religiously going for facials too at least once a month and if I have extra moolah, I go for a diamond peel. Since my skin is too oily, some suggests that I go for skin peeling. Honestly I am scared to do just that as I feel that I have a bit of a sensitive skin. I think I’ll just have to do with oily face, I’ll just have to wipe it every now and then, but it can be embarrassing at times though.

They say…”the eye is the window to your soul”. I totally agree! I have something to add to that too. Sometimes the eye is the window to age. Our eyes just give our age away. That is why every time I wake up in the morning, the first thing I look at in the mirror is my eye. I squint so I would know the extent of fine lines I’ve got. Sad, yeah I’m sad because I’m starting to have them, and yes it is very visible, aside from the dark circles I get when I lack sleep. Funny how I expect not to get them at all. Fountain of youth…I wish I had it, but does anyone have it? I don’t think so, but we can do something about it. It would help delay the signs of aging, that is if we do something about it. Now how do we go about it? Let’s face it, we just have to use certain products. Agree or not? I’m looking into this eye wrinkle cream that I will be needing anytime soon. I have accepted the fact that sooner or later I’ll be needing the help of an eye wrinkle cream. I just need it especially that I am fond of putting on makeup. I want it to be flawless as much as possible. But more than that I don’t want to look my age. I believe that these creams help in firming the skin surrounding the eye area, thus no more fine lines or should I say lessen fine lines. Yeah that’s more like it, creams can help improve. Now if you think that this happens overnight, think about it. Nothing really happens overnight. It takes regular application if you want the product to work. Once you start using it, it should be done religiously. I think most product works that way so eye creams are no exception.

Sunday was spent watching Fashion Week again. We missed Saturday’s show though, but I’m glad that I made it to Sunday’s show. All the brands and designers were all awesome. I particularly liked that of Lyle Ibanez, man he’s good really. I want to wear his designs, very simple yet so chic. He’s like Marc Jacobs I think, well that is just my opinion. Michael Cinco on the other hand still rocks! All his gowns were well applauded. Magnificent beadworks too, oh so intricate. And the Bench show, my oh my, oh so yummmeeeehhh! See second photo, LOL.
