Gandang ganda ako nung nakita ko ito. Dali dali kong kinunan ng litrato, yun nga lang ang ginamit ko ay ang camera phone ko, pano kelangan ko pa mag swimming sa bag ko para mahanap ko ang P&S ko. Naranasan nyo na ba yun? Yung tipong excited kang kunan ng litrato ang napakagandang tanawin, tapos hindi mo madampot dampot ang camera mo dahil ito ay nagtatago sa laki ng bag mo? Hay naku, lesson learned, kelangan parati nakalabas ang camera para madaling madampot (madampot mo at madampot ng kawatan, LOL).

We attended the Despedida de Soltera of Hailey, my husband’s niece. It was a Masquerade Ball (yeah that explains our masks) and we all had fun.
We (me and my daughter) joined Hailey and her friends to a dance medley, “all the single ladies”, yeah we danced to Beyonce’s All the Single Ladies, some samba and swing. I think we gave a nice performance coz the choreographer was really happy.

Our eyes grew big, followed by a loud scream, I said Issssshhhh, and she said “Mooooommm! Yeah we saw our favorite word sale. I think most of us love seeing this word, and we get excited whenever we see it at the windows. Come on admit it! Honestly it is only during this time that I really get to buy. That is why we get giddy whenever we see it, it’s like calling us, here, here, grab while supplies last.

Naku pasensya na kayo kung China na naman ang entry ko. Naaakma lang talaga promise, wag kayo magsawa dahil hindi pa tapos ang entries ko sa napakagandang bakasyon namin. Talagang nag-enjoy kaming mag-anak. Anyways, ang building ng nakikita nyo, yung parang naka lean sya ay naka-catch ng attention ko nung kami ay papunta na sa airport para lumipad ng Shanghai. Hindi ko actually alam ang name ng building na ito at kaya kinailangan ko ang tulong ng google. Ayon sa google, ang building na ito ay ang China Central Television’s new headquarters at ito ay nasunog lamang noong Feb. 9, 2009. Ang sanhi ng sunog ay ang fireworks na sinimulan para i-celebrate ang Lunar New Year. Ang building na ito ay considered Chinese capital’s most architecturally celebrated modern buildings. Ang ganda nga naman at ito ay magka-catch talaga ng inyong attention dahil sa kakaibang structure.
Ito naman ay isa sa mga buildings na matatagpuan nyo sa Wangfujing Street. Ang street na ito ay kilalang kilala pagdating sa shopping. Sadyang napakaraming tao, to think na weekday kami dun nagpunta. Kasama yata ito sa tourist attraction ng Beijing.

Oh dear! I think anytime soon I will be needing this natural appetite suppressant. It’s like I put on weight everyday. If I don’t stop stuffing my mouth with food, I will be EF A TEE anytime soon. Haha, as if I’m not FAT now. Anyway, many of you may not find me fat, but really I have put on weight and to my standards, this is already fat. I want to lose something like 5 pounds but how can I when I can’t even stop myself from eating. Uh oh…poor me!

Ito ang peyborit kong parte sa Forbidden City, Beijing. Kakaiba talaga sya nung makita ko. Napakaganda ng hardin. Meron pa ngang portion ang hardin na meron tanim na maninipis na bamboo, bigla kong naalala ang Kungfu Panda. Alam ko nakunan ko ito ng litrato ngunit di ko na mahanap, baka napindot at nabura.
Nakakatuwang tignan ng mga bulaklak na ito. Nagkalat ang ganitong klaseng halaman sa mga lugar na aming napuntahan mapa Beijing or Shanghai man. Kung pede nga lang ako magtanim ng ganun klaseng bulaklak sa hardin ng aking Ina, gagawin ko. Instant favorite ko ang bulaklak na iyan. Tinanong ko sa tour guide kung ano ang tawag sa bulaklak na yan, ang tawag daw nila ay pink flower.

Do you have any idea what the best diet pill is? Hundreds have claimed they are, but can the consumers really know who among those who claim are the best diet pill? You know what I do? I try my best to read consumer reviews about certain products. Sometimes I just learn, via word of mouth. I think this is also one of the best way of knowing which product really work well, aside from the reviews that we read online.

I just came from a much needed vacation. This time we made sure that we join a tour group. It was actually upon the suggestion of my father-in-law. This is the second time I joined a tour group, and I am very happy that I did. After all my FIL was right. I guess we just could not have done it by ourselves. It would have been difficult exploring the place. Joining tours is nice especially if there’s no one who can bring you around. In my opinion it saves a lot of time too since the tour guide would know where to bring you. If any of you are planning on a New York trip, I suggest you join New York Tours. There’s so much to see in New York, and it would be nice if you can explore all of them. I heard that this group is the leader in New York sightseeing. They have several double-decker buses that can take you to all the wonderful attractions and places of interests. I’ve checked some of the tours they offer and I am interested in some of them. I’ve been to New York, but due to time constraints I was not able to see all. I have actually promised myself that the next time I visit NYC, I just have to explore each and every place of interest.

We went up to Tagaytay to have lunch on Good Friday. Good thing we made reservations at the restaurant, if not we would not have eaten on time because there was just too many people. Looks like each year, more and more people go out and have fun on Good Friday. I remember when I was a young girl, you seldom see people on the road. Good Friday is usually quiet, but now seems like everyone is having a great time including us.
I almost forgot, well actually I have forgotten about our Good Friday tradition with Cuz and her family. Good thing she reminded me that we had to meet at Starbucks at 9 pm. This is our 4th year already and I promised myself not to forget about it next year.
On Saturday, we went to watch Slumdog Millionaire. I love that movie and I think it really deserved all the awards they got. Cinematography was just awesome, music was good too. I just didn’t take photos of our Saturday and Sunday activities, but we were up and about during the weekend.

Don’t you just love this Marni necklace? I sooo love it. The first time I saw it online, I was like WOW! I want to have it. I love this kind of necklace, I find it unique and quite interesting. Tell me, do you often see this kind of necklace in the places you go to? I’m sure it would turn a lot of heads, mine included. It will surely catch attention because of it’s beauty. I know girls would go gaga once they see this. It’s a statement by itself. Haha notice how I say beautiful things about it. It’s because I have now included it in my wishlist. I’m starting to imagine myself wearing just a plain white tee with my favorite jeans and this neck piece will complete my look! I can even wear it when I attend formal functions. I’m sure it would look great with my little black dress. Dang! I really should have this neck piece. I think every girl who would see this would love to have it. You should see the rest of the Marni collection, it’s just sooo beautiful. I just know that you will love all her accessories. That photo you see above is just one of them. Just to give you an idea about the designer, she is swiss-born, and she’s based in Milan. She has a huge following, and I know why.

I wasn’t really interested in gift card until I knew the value of it. Funny that when you get to see my wallet, it’s overloaded with different gift cards. As much as possible in every store that I go to, I see to it that I have their gift cards. Come to think of it, the perks both the owner and the customers get from it is something. On the part of the owners, it will help boost their sales. Now on the part of the consumers, it will entail savings when they use it. Ah, now I know why such stores give out gift cards, it’s both beneficial to the owners and their customers.

The flight to Beijing was good. It took us almost 5 hours to reach our destination. When we got there, I was really amazed. I so love the place, it was clean, the trees lining the streets was just awesome. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too (kasi konte pa lang eh). Honestly, I find Beijing more beautiful than the places I’ve been to in the USA (no offense meant here). First stop after lunch was at the Tiananmen Square, I remember this place because of the massacre that happened in 1989. But that was never mentioned by our tourist guide. Instead she told us that Tiananmen Square is the largest open square in the world.
Behind us is the Gate of Heavenly Peace.
Much as we wanted to see the remains of Mao Zedong, it was not part of the tour package we got. It would have been a wonderful experience. FIL was able to see his body when they toured Beijing a couple of years back.

I am so scared to weigh myself after the vacation we took. Yeah, I have been complaining about the food, but did you know that I ate a lot of chips and drank a lot of soda? I knew this was coming since we have been warned by those who have been there that the food really sucked on the 2nd or 3rd day. It does not really taste that bad, but what will make you complain is that you eat the same food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Really I am not kidding. So when we got home, everyone of us started eating a lot. So this is the reason why I don’t like to weigh myself, coz I can hardly fit in my jeans. Looks like I might really be needing the aid of the best diet pills. I need to do something about this, I am just scared that I won’t be able to fit in the lovely dress that I had made for a coming family function. Oh my, am I getting vain or something?

What’s with shoes anyway? I can’t get enough of them. I think every girl goes through this. Is it safe to say that there is something wrong with a girl if she only has a pair? Tell me! Anyway let me show you these women’s shoes I found online. There is a sale going on, yep the magic word. My daughter would go gaga if she sees the word SALE, actually both of us, haha. The word sale is really very inviting. You know what I get most of my stuff from sale items I find whether online or not. It saved me a lot of money.
