Cinderella : 31st Weekend Snapshots

Sunday afternoon was spent watching Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It was an awesome show, Lea Salonga is a very good artist. It’s a good thing my daughter and I decided to watch it. My two boys didn’t have interest in going, so off they went to Mall of Asia. When they fetched us after the show, we couldn’t stop talking in the car about the performance. That got them interested, and now they want to watch. I wonder if there are still tickets being sold, I mean for the prime seats, like the ones I got some 3 weeks ago. Tickets are really pricey, but hey it was worth the price or even more. We were seated in the middle on the 9th row from the stage. Our spot was good enough, much as we wanted to take the really prime seats, we couldn’t, tickets were already sold out. After the show, we bought some souvenirs, the black tee is really cute and the cellphone accessory too. Daughter Ish bought the charm bracelet. We also bought the CD and started listening to it on our way home.

When I saw Lea’s Miss Saigon in New York, my ticket costs me $50… and that was when the conversion was $1 to P30+ lang. But then even at exchange rate of P45, cheaper pa din to watch in New York?

Hey girlie, we were there in Manila, a white man gave us cinderella show flyers and invited us to watch it.
We were surprised, a white man, in Phils Namimigay ng flyers(invitation ) to buy the tickets!
Then reading your post, kaya pala, international show pala.
