The Basketweave Creation

Posted by girlie on June 18, 2008

Photobucket Wahoo! I’m progressing! I know how to do the basketweave now. The scarf does not look boring with this kind of texture. I’ve combined colors, but there are parts that annoy me, I guess this basketweave is for plain colors. Anyways, you be the judge. I will post a picture again once the color combi is prominent and I’ll put a mark on the part that annoys me. Maybe you can help me solve the problem. Or maybe after all you see it as a design. I need a little convincing that it goes with the design though. Oh I also need suggestions on the color combination pretty please?

*When the hubs saw my basket full of yarns, he was surprised, LOL. That is because I keep the yarns I buy from him. He thinks it’s a waste of money, because I normally start on a project but easily gets bored doing it. But this time I think I am serious with knitting. Ahhh I keep saying that, LOL.

@Thess - Thanks a lot. Black and white is good, thanks. I miss using the lens baby, no shooting opportunity, naks.

@Cuz - haha trying hard, at least it keeps me busy.

@Evi - Thanks for the bday greeting. Oo matyaga talaga ako, especially with things that I love doing.

@KC - it’s easy…after casting on, knit 4, purl 4 alternately lang but you have to end with knit 4. Tapos 4 rows each. On the 5th row, unahin mo naman ang purl 4, then knit 4.
