Windows Scripting Software

At first I had a very hard time understanding what dos command line is. Until now I have a very vague idea of what it is really. But I guess those in the know how can provide me explanations on how this works. All I know is that web designers, programmers and the tech support people have this because this is one way of making life easier for them. This has something to do with windows scripting which I am clueless about. Arrrgghh, how can I start my career as a web designer when simple things like this software I don’t understand. Oh maybe I should start browsing on this topic for added knowledge.

    command line interfaces (also knows as command line interpreters) are available in all operating systems. it allows users who prefer to type in commands, rather than use the GUI (graphical user interface e.g. the start menu button, the menus you see on softwares you have on your PC), to talk to the operating system. :) wish ko lang that made sense hehehe.

    i don’t know that you need to do much of anything using command line interpreters if you want to get into web designing.

    Be very careful with the command line!

    You can do an enormous amount with it, and often you can do it more quickly than from with your GUI (Graphical User Interface, like Windows).

    Unless you own the server you are hosting on, there’s a chance you won’t even have access to the command line interface for your site, so you might not want to fret about it TOO much.
