Wahoo I was able to talk with my sister Rachel who is based in Philadelphia. I didn’t call her or my other sister for quite sometime coz I forgot I had skype. Haha, call it aging or something. But today we had fun, we laughed a lot talking about anything under the sun. I should be calling them more since it’s very affordable using skype. It could have been free, but she does not have internet connection, so I had to call her on her celly. But still, it’s very cheap. I talked with her for almost an hour, and when I checked my balance something like $2 was only deducted to my skype-out account. Isn’t that great? Hhhmmm, I should be calling my sisters and my friends who are in the US more.

I hate to admit it but every time I see the word SALE on a store window, by hook or by crook I have to check it out. You know why? There are items I just couldn’t afford, and it’s really a big deal for me if it goes on sale, because that’s the only time I can buy it. I really get excited too when I receive discount coupons. I should have learned about coupon code for Office Depot while Ish was in the US, I could have said yes when she told us that she wanted to get herself a new laptop. Too bad I didn’t know about this coupon too before she purchased her iPhone, we could have saved some more. Oh maybe I can ask my sister to use the coupon when she buys me one. I am really green with envy over Isha’s new iPhone, I can’t wait ’til June to buy the Asian version. And oh, I really love this stand mixer. I’ve been wanting to buy it eversince I started baking. Maybe this is the right time to buy it and take advantage of the rebate. My, my, why can’t I get enough? One of my favorite brand of clothes is having a sale too, and I’m just glad that the shorts I’m dying to own is on sale. You see I am really a smart shopper. My friends can attest to that. I usually find best deals online, and I can also get away with haggling big time!

Thank God my darling doll is back. She got here yesterday. This is the first time she is not travelling with us, so that really got me worried. I’m not usually online at Y!M 24/7, but that time she was away, I did. I didn’t realize that I will miss her terribly, but I did. I always get excited whenever my cellphone beeps, always assuming that it’s my darling doll who is sending me sms. She said she had a great time. She was able to visit the places she missed out on when we were there in 2005. She really made it a point to go to California Adventure and Hollywood Blvd. As usual it’s the kid in her, she again went to Disneyland and Universal Studios, seems like my kiddo can’t get enough of those rides. She is a brave girl, riding all the scary ones. Gosh I’m gonna die right there if I took those rides…no way! Just no way!

I really hate it when I come across people who are intoxicated with alcohol. You know down right that they are not in their right senses. And these people do not admit that they are alcoholics. They don’t believe either that alcoholism is a sickness. I just wish that before they go into drunken driving accidents, they will realize that they need help and that they should submit themselves to alcohol rehab. And how would you know if you’re an alcoholic? Don’t drink for a day, if you can’t let it pass, then you have a problem. Consider alcohol rehab before its too late.

Do you want to lie down on a bed that functions like a massage chair? I’d love that! I’ve tried sitting on a massage chair about a week ago and I truly enjoyed it. I felt so relaxed after that. And that was just a chair mind you. But here we are talking about the bed. A bed where you can lie down comfortably. A bed that can be programmed to your favorite position and massage level. Wow! That would feel really good especially if you are tired from work, or from your regular workout. Haha, I am now imagining myself in that kind of bed. I wish we had that at home, my back really aches right now, and all I need is a massage.

When I came across this Marriage Family Counselor, I was quite intrigued. He has an alternative for marriage counseling and he calls it marriage fitness. He says that it is an innovative step-by-step relationship-changing system that will save and restore marriages. It’s not like the typical counseling you get when you go for one. Here he talks about having positive relationship habits that will give a total turn around to your once happy marriage. He shares some techniques on how not to dig into the past which I believe is common when misunderstanding occurs between husbands and wives.
He’s got a different Marriage Retreat too. Instead of going somewhere, it’s actually held at home. I like the topics covered in this marriage retreat namely, dwelling in the past, how to get over old hurt, how to deal with a stubborn spouse, how to restore trust, how to restore romance and a lot more. Come to think of it these are the reasons why marriages turn sour. I would be glad to be taught how these problems can be resolved. Have you ever thought that out of stubborness and anger comes pride? And when pride takes over, you believe only in what you think. There has to be someone else to knock you off before you go back to your senses. That has to be Marriage Family Counseling ala Mort Fertel. Actually it’s not only for those whose marriages are about to break, but I believe that it is also important for every couple to be aware of all those how tos. The good thing about this Fertel guy is that his type of counseling works even if only one spouse is doing it. By the way, this guy offers free advice tips on how to save your marriage.

When we had our cousins’ day, one of the topics we discussed was going on a cruise. I couldn’t contribute any since I haven’t been on a cruise yet. But based on the stories I heard from them, going on a cruise is really awesome. They have tried going on a Carribean cruise, Asian Cruise and this time they want to board the Alaska luxury cruise ships. They also mentioned that the best time to go to Alaska is on a summer. So when I got home that night, I read a little about the Alaskan cruise. Based on the pictures I saw, there’s just one thing that came across my mind. I have to convince N to take the cruise, or any cruise for that matter for a start. You see, N is not quite comfortable taking the ship, and that’s the reason why we haven’t been to any cruise. I hope this time I can convince him. I will have to bookmark cruiselocators.com for easy reference since they have an extensive list of world-wide cruise vacations you can take.

Remember we had a Cousins Day earlier this year? Well we had another one last Thursday. We went to Serendra again, well they have not seen the place yet. Plus the fact that I have a cousin who lives down south, so we just agreed to meet halfway. I guess whenever we have cousins day it will always be in Serendra or anywhere in Makati. Anyway we had dinner at Kamay Kainan, eat all you can, boo I was soooo stuffed that night. We enjoyed the food all 60 different recipes, well I really do not know if it’s 60 but that’s what they said in the streamer all for P 244.00. We also bought barbeque from Ineng’s, yummy and some fruits like durian, marang, langka, pomelo and mangosteen. Now you see why we are so stuffed. After dinner, we checked out Market!Market. I bought a few accessories. I will be posting it at the Personal.Shopper.Wannabe some time.

Because of that damn 68, he did not get a medal. Yeah, in Home Economics, just because he didn’t submit 1 project. Oh well, lessons are learned the hard way. Major and Minor is not to be taken forgranted and I’ve told him that already. I hope when he is in high school, he will still be able to maintain his grades, but as it is, seems like he does not concentrate as much when he was in the lower grades. He’d always tell me, “Mom, loosen up, I can do it” and I always remind him that he can do more. I think I need to bring back the policy of NO TV and NO playing of VID GAMES during school days.

I already got the report card of my daughter, so far so good, err I was really disappointed with both her grades in Math. That is her weakness even though I teach her all the time, she can’t seem to absorb everything. To solve the problem and to increase her grade in Math, I will need to get her this kind of Tutor. It’s a one-on-one student to tutor instruction. I actually like this idea, because I believe that the tutor will be able to help her more. The tutor can spend more time to work on her weakness. I’ve discussed this with my husband and he has given the go signal to hire this kind of tutor. I really hope that Ish will make good in Math this coming school year.

I’ve been doing my own nailart for a couple of years now. I was once keen on doing it really that I change nail art almost every week. Then all of a sudden I lost interest. I didn’t want to paint my nails anymore. I tried doing it once but I am just too lazy doing it again. I’ve been painting my nails for about a month anlready but sans the art. When I went to Face Shop, I saw nice cutie nail stickers, I bought 2 sets and I’m gonna try using it. I also found a nice color of polish which is dark brown. I hope I am not too lazy today to do it. I really ? nail art!

Well I don’t have anything against cosmetic surgery vaginal. If that can make a woman happy and if it’s really necessary then why not! There are a lot of reasons why woman wants to go for that certain surgery. And I respect them for that. Take for example labiaplasty, a woman with enlarged labia can feel a certain discomfort and pain. Others do it for aesthetic reasons. Come to think of it, it’s really ugly seeing sort of a protrusion when wearing a certain type of clothing. I wouldn’t want that ugly sight too. And there is only one way you can get rid of it, it’s by undergoing labiaplasty. A recontouring would be nice, agree? Of course you do, every woman wants to have the perfect look.

This picture was taken last Monday. We (me and Faye) were tasked by Teacher Gladys to teach Pecto ( one of the hosts of QTV’s Day Off) the basic moves of belly dancing. I didn’t know that it will be televised, had I known I would have backed off. Well partly I did, but I thought that the one that will be televised was us in the background as students of Pecto. Anyway I can’t do anything about it, so I just enjoyed myself. Teacher really had her day off that day. I don’t have any idea where the people of the show brought her, I have to wait until the episode is shown. I think the idea of the show “Day Off” is really to give day off to employees/workers. The show’s hosts will take their place, something like that. Then they will be treated with a few luxuries, well I don’t know, have to watch the show to have an idea.

Hubby N and daughter Ish are hard core mac users. So I guess they will be interested in these mac games. My daughter has been complaining that there are not too many games that can be played in her mac notebook. I think she will be interested in playing these tycoon games as she is very much into role playing. I’d love to play that too, I want to find out how I fare in the tycoon world, will I be successful? There are a lot more mac games available, and I will let my daughter see it once she’s back from her grand vacation.

Having your own domain is very affordable these days. It’s not like years ago when it was somewhat impossible for an ordinary person to have a website. N put up his own website a few years back and it spent a fortune for it. Well compared to how much it is now, that’s why I called it a fortune. I guess you and I can attest to that. But now having your own website is very affordable, and there are a lot of web hosts who offer their services at a much cheaper price. For those bloggers out there who are into sponsored writing, I suggest you get your own domain. I did, and now I have more offers. It helps too to get a very good web host. There are a lot of web hosts around, but be very care in choosing though. Take it from me, I’ve had my share of “heartaches” with my first web host. Web hosting is very crucial because basically your website’s existence depends on your web host. Try to find the best web hosting available. It pays to have the best. It’s really frustrating to find out that your website is down again, especially at a time that you need to post an important entry or a job related entry. I was bloghopping one time and I came across this blog who had a lot to tell about the grand vacation she had in Mexico. She was raving about how nice the beaches are and that there are a million fun things to do while in Mexico. This got me interested and started reading more on Mexico. I am a beach freak myself and it has been my dream to visit all the wonderful beaches, especially the ones featured in Discovery Travel and Living. While reading about Mexico, Riviera Maya caught my attention, 200 kilometers long of white sandy beach. It is also considered as one of the best beaches in the world. My oh my, I wish I can visit that one day. No wonder Mexico Vacations is really so much fun and people can’t stop raving about it. The hotels, beach resorts, restaurants and cafes, and the shops are all affordable and within budget, so nothing can stop you from having a great vacation.

Boo! I was in that mode last night…I didn’t know what to do. I was soooo frustrated because I was suppose to do some sponsored thingy which was almost due already. If you read my earlier posts, (Pix from Easter, What?) I couldn’t get that published. I always end up getting an error. I googled for some solutions, but it was so foreign to me, I don’t even know how to back up my files, boo! Anyways when I went online at Y!M to wait for Ish to go online, I saw Thess but her status was BRB. I was like “Oh no! I am so dead! So I just left her a message asking for help (SOS) haha. It didn’t take long for her to get back at me. Thess was really a big big help and I can never thank her enough. You see I may blog a lot, I can change my banners every now and then, but really I am still clueless on the codes thingy. She advised me on removing some things in my sidebars which I thought I can’t do without, harhar. Again a million thanks to you my dear.
