Wahoo! I’m finally done helping him with his final exams. Today is the last day of his final exams, and whenever I ask him how it was, he always says, “Mom it’s easy!” Well I believe him when he says that because I didn’t have a hard time reviewing him. He can even play with his PS2 in between. Oh there’s one more exam left, in Chinese…and since I don’t help him out with that, I will just leave all the work to his chinese tutor. Graduation rites will be on March 18, pretty early though, coz the previous graduation happens end of March or 1st week of April. Yay! It’s summer vacation once more. No more stress for the kids.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we have these Workbenches at home? And since all of us use the internet at the same time, then this would be great. For now our wifi connection is best at my son’s room, so most of us stay there. The problem is, there is only one desk. The rest of us stay in his bed, lol. You know how it is when you use your laptop either slouching on the headboard, or just sitting on top of the bed. I for one experience back pains. So I guess we really need this workbench. His room would look something like an internet cafe. And yeah, this would also be a great opportunity to check on the internet pages they visit.

I took interest in this because I really want to find out how fast I can type. My mom taught me how to type using correct fingering when I was in elementary. And since I am typing away most of the time, I should get a high typing speed. But did I? I think I did good. Thanks to Francine for sharing this. Yep I found this typing speed test in her blog.

Find out how fast you can type…no cheating…ok?

Gone are the days when our mails were safe from vandals. A lot of mail theft cases are already reported. It’s about time that we have our mailboxes secured from these thieves. It’s quite scary thinking that these people can not only mess with our personal mails, but with our personal identities as well. They can get personal information from these stolen mails which can be used against us. Are we to wait for that?
There are a lot of top quality secure cbu mailboxes available at Usmailboxes.com. They build their mailboxes with strength to keep away vandals from destroying it. This company is approved by the US Postal Service and right now they are America’s leading manufacturer of group mailboxes. You can check out their residential, commercial, and wall mounted mailboxes. These are quality designed mailboxes that keeps your mails secured.

It is amazing to witness people trying to get physically fit nowadays. It seems like everyone is watchful over what they eat. Others resort to taking supplements. We all know that we really cannot get all the necessary nutrients from food anymore, thus we lack all the protection we should be getting. We are exposed to free radicals which can cause damage to our cells. Good thing there are antioxidants available like that one I’m showing you. As we all know, antioxidants slows down or prevents the oxidation of other molecules. If you want to always experience the fountain of youth, then you should be considering taking antioxidants now.

I don’t own them ^_^. They keep my daughter company at nights when she sleeps. She used to have her nanny beside her, but since the nanny left us already, she sleeps alone in her bedroom now. She has collected them over the years, some were bought and the rest given by friends and admirers (?). She wants to dress all of them too, just like my Trixie. We still have not gone to the mall together to specifically look for some clothes, but we will, maybe after school’s done.

I do love visiting forums because in a way I learn something from the discussion threads I read. Every so often especially now that I have my own domain, I go to forums whenever I am in doubt of something especially when it comes to web designs. I don’t wanna mess up with the codes and all, because you know what will happen with just a single wrong click. When you search for forums in the web, almost all countries have one. Take for example the China Webmasters Forums, this is a web and graphic design forum where members can contribute and share their knowledge and expertise. This is the reason why I resort to forums, I might be able to find a temporary solution to my programming and coding problems.

Come on! Get real! I just find it funny that you can’t admit it. I bet it’s 100% the same, oh make that 99 %, coz I have to credit you though. Funny how you say things but do otherwise.

We decided to bring the kids to Tagaytay for dinner on Saturday. N and I celebrated Vee Day there and we just remembered the kids. We thought that it would be wonderful to spend the weekend there. We wanted them to experience Tagaytay’s temperature which was probably around 10-15 degrees (not sure about this though). Too bad it was not as cold when we got there, but still we had a wonderful weekend.

Nope, he’s not my man, but I want my man to dress up that way. Of course I want my man to always look presentable and what better way to do it is to check out men’s fashion. Check out the rest of their stuff online and start shopping for the love of your life. Whatever choice you pick, I’m sure your man will be happy to wear it. Almost everything they have online is pretty.
Now that you know about this website, you will no longer have a hard time picking presents for your guy friends.

When I was still working, I had blisters all the time, maybe because of the ill fitting shoes that I wear all the time. We were not allowed to wear sandals because the required footwear should be something closed like pumps. Though we could come in our street clothes on Fridays, that one day in a week did not help. I still had those unsightly blisters. Had I known that there is a product for Blister Prevention, I could have bought one. I could not have suffered from the pain and eventually those black marks on my heels and toes. Well, I can still make use of these patches now because once in a while I still wear pumps when I work. These patches can help blisters from forming, and nothing can stop me from walking around anymore. I can be on my feet all the time. I also read that these patches help existing blisters to heal fast, so for those ones who have fresh blisters, maybe these patches can help heal your blisters faster.

Woohoo! Trixie has another outfit. I actually bought two, that yellow one and another pink one. This time with bloomers, harhar. I bought the same brand, coz their baby dresses are really cool, but with a few choices only. I gotta scout for more brands when I go malling, but the ones that I can only afford. I remember the time that I was buying clothes for Ish when she was still a baby, I was kinda reminiscing. Again the sales person who assisted me asked me for the size, how old the baby was. This time I was not ashamed to tell her that it’s for my bear. What the heck whatever she thinks of me, as long as I’m thrilled and happy buying clothes for Trixie. I can’t be bothered at all, anyway it’s my moolah ^_^.

Ish hates it, or should I say she does not like it. She only ate the egg that night. But Josh liked it so much. The other day, he asked me when can I make the Cuban food again. It’s actually very easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
ground beef (beef and pork actually, but I used beef only)
garlic
onions
potatoes
green peas
raisins
tomato paste
Worcestorshire Sauce
knorr pork cubes
salt and pepper
egg
banana
Procedure:
Fry potatoes and set aside. In the same pan, saute onions and garlic, followed by ground beef until brown. Put about a tablespoon of tomato paste (for half kilo ground pork), 1 tablespoon of worcestorshire sauce, knorr pork cube. Mix and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Put in potato, green peas and raisins. Mix a little and cook for another 5 minutes.

We all know that getting married nowadays is really expensive. Since we are in the wedding business, I pretty much have an idea on how much couples spend for their wedding. Flowers alone really cost a fortune. Most of the weddings we did have beautiful floral arrangements and I was really awed that they can spend that much on flowers. But did you know that you can cut the cost by getting bulk flowers from fiftyflowers.com? They can afford to give lower and competitive prices because you get flowers directly from them, from their farms. No middleman or florists that sometimes cause the prices of flowers to go up. Looking back at my own wedding, I could have done my own bouquet after all I just wanted a bunch of calla lilies. I don’t think it’s hard to make your own bouquet. There are available DIY instructions that you can follow. Or maybe some of your friends and relatives can help you out with the floral arrangement on your wedding day.

Ish installed a new game on her DS and it’s the latest version of Super Mario. I remember playing that game back in high school, not with the play station but something else. I don’t remember it anymore as it has been more than 25 years. Basically the game is still the same but with a nicer graphics. I still enjoyed playing the game a lot but I’m not as good anymore. Slower reflex I guess that comes with age. I don’t remember dying in world one or two, but now death comes in world one. Hhhhmmm, more practice and getting used to the game is what I need. Hope I’ll be able to rescue the princess in no time, but I doubt I will be able to do that, I’m becoming more impatient each day. I’m short of throwing the DS out of frustration, coupled with shouting/screaming nearing death. Sometimes I want to put it down for fear that I’ll develop heart problems. It would be funny if I will be in the news one day…a hipncoolmomma suffers from heart attack by playing Super Mario Brothers.

This is the kind of bed linen I go for. I love it’s simple design. I don’t go for loud screaming colors and prints. Seeing it will give me a headache instead of a good night’s rest.
I also love to decorate our bedroom. I put various bedroom accessories to make it more beautiful and inviting. I often flip on pages of bedroom magazines just to get ideas on how to make the bedroom as cozy as possible. Like the ones being featured in home magazines. In my own little way I am able to do that, oh not the “feature” thing, but making our bedrooms look beautiful. There was one who even commented that it looks like one of the rooms in a hotel. Of course I was very happy to hear that, who wouldn’t. And there’s one more thing, I’ve included beautifying the bathroom. I admire houses who have nice bathrooms, and I promised myself that if ever we’re gonna build a house, I will make sure that my bathroom is also pretty. So far, that dream has come true. Little by little I’m filling the bathroom with beautiful bathroom accessories too. I’m about to stop, because if not, it will no longer serve its purpose.

Woohoo, my fashion blog is back, and with a new look! Oh just a new look though because I still don’t have time to update. Have not taken pictures of myself too, coz I am always in a hurry. I couldn’t get myself to wake up early…or sometimes there’s just too many things to finish. The pictures I’ve taken in the past is in my laptop which is now in the service center. Opps, I think I was able to transfer it to my external drive. Lemme check, so I don’t have any reason not to update. If only I can go for a pictorial, err maybe not…I think that’s too much already…boo!

I’d like to share this piece of news to everyone. I can’t believe it when I first read about it. Reports have it that the demand for silver now exceeds annual production. Hhhmm then it only means one thing. Just like gold, silver price will soar in due time. The best thing to do right now is to invest in silver. The price is not as high as gold yet, but there will come a time that it will more or less equal. More and more analysts predict that silver, more particularly US silver coins will make an outstanding investment. Now if you decide to invest in silver, Monex.com is America’s trusted name when it comes to coin and bullion trading.

I have two kids, young as they are I am already dreaming of sending them to the best universities when they go to college. As early as now, I am thinking of putting Ish at a review center because I know it’s really tough Getting into Top Schools. I want her to be prepared when she takes up the entrance test. I know a lot of you are doing this already just to be sure that your kids will be accepted in top or major universities.
It’s getting tougher and tougher. Do you want me to share with you How to Get into the Ivy League? We all know that not all can make it to these great schools. If you want to have an advantage, you should do something about it like probably enroll in a boot camp that offers a range of services to give you the SAT advantage. Many have already testified how it has helped them improve on their scores and eventually being accepted in top universities. Of course you wouldn’t miss that chance, right? Here’s the key to admissions, and with just the price of an iPod, we can help get our children admitted to top colleges. Miroadvantage.com is designed to give confidence, to raise scores, and to make our children competitive. They have a pool of teachers to help our children succeed on test day. It’s for their future, and what they will become some day. A little sacrifice won’t help, I mean sacrificing your want to have an iPod in exchange for a better future for our children.

Yep it has grown an inch longer and it hasn’t been a month, about two weeks probably because that was taken on VEE day. Heehee I made an extra effort to fix it, of course to look more beautiful for the hubs, eeewww! But when we got to Tagaytay, it was windy and it sucks big time…effort in vain =(.. I posted these pix because there’s one person who noticed that indeed it has grown, and she’s none other than CutiePatootie. “Buhok kabayo” ika nga Rhads!

Do you know what I normally do if I have queries? I turn on my laptop and go online. Yeah I can say that my life depends on the world wide web pretty much. I think we all do. If I need to find something, all I do is go to google and just type in the keyword. I find the answers right away. It’s really important for the web site owners to take into consideration Search Engine Optimization when building their web sites. It’s not just a matter of having your own web site but you need to make sure that your web site is optimized. It’s actually useless having a web site that does not figure in search engines. The first thing you should consider when building a web site is for it to have a high performance. You should have strong internet marketing campaign to drive people to your web sites. And who can better help you with that? Of course only the world leader when it comes to SEO, and that is brandidentityguru.com. They will help you develop and run a custom-tailored internet marketing and SEO campaign that will guarantee web traffic. This is really very important if you want to have 100 percent exposure of your business. You need to be on top in the online world if you want to gain customers and clients. Not many business owners realize this and they are still blinded to the idea that having a web site will do. They do not know for a fact that something has to be done in order to figure out in search engines like Google and Yahoo.

I hope my kids will give me that locket come Mother’s Day. I chose that design among all the Silver Lockets I saw on picturesongold.com, simply because of the unique design. I love the colored flower detail against silver, it’s very pretty. Did you know that they sell these lockets at very reasonable prices? I was surprised that even their Gold Lockets are very affordable too. This would make a wonderful present if you run out of ideas on what to give your friends.

Did you know that driving in the United States without auto insurance is illegal? But more than anything else, it should be the protection and the coverage you get when you purchase auto insurance that is important. Even if it is not required, one should have auto insurance. Many people think that just because they drive defensively or with a lot of care, they don’t need the insurance anymore. What about the other drivers around you? You may not be a reckless driver, but there are a lot of reckless drivers out there. Can you imagine what’s going to happen when you meet an accident? But with an auto insurance in hand, you need not worry about the collision. Whether or not its your fault, it does not matter anymore. The insurance will take care of it. You also get yourself covered in case you obtain bodily injury. The insurance will take care of the medical expenses. Now whenever you bring damage to a property while driving, that too is covered. Having mentioned all of this, you should be getting the picture now. You really need an auto insurance. Shop and be able to compare various auto insurance at ez-insuranceportal.com. Make use of their Quick Quote Center by filling in the appropriate boxes, and in an instant you will be provided with quotes from the leading insurance providers.

Eden, Cuz and moi.
Blogger turned friend Eden is in town for a short visit. She’s based in Quebec, Canada and will be in the Philippines for just two weeks to visit her kids. We agreed to meet in Makati last Monday for lunch. I was a bit late, since I had some other things to do, plus the fact that I only took the LRT (Light Railway Transit), yep too lazy to drive once again ^_^.
It feels like this is not the first time we’ve seen each other. And it feels like knowing her for the rest of my life too. It’s really a wonder every time bloggers meet, no barrier whatsoever. The things you talk about is the continuation of past entries narrated live. And seeing each other for the first time seals the bond of friendship…no longer cyber, but for real. Isn’t that wonderful?
Thanks so much for the “pasalubong” (token), I actually love everything you gave, the bag, the candies and the spread. Again from the bottom of my heart, I’d like to THANK you and Steve.
