This is how I look now. Yep two trips to the salon in a week! Actually I was really planning to have this style the first time I went to the salon. But the stylist told me that it was too short. Maybe he just couldn’t tell me straight that the style/cut does not fit the frame of my face. Oh well! But I couldn’t sleep at night. Yep I’m like that, whenever I like something and I don’t get it, I dream of it. Plus the hubby who is bugging me that shorter hair fits me. Ok fine, deserves another trip to the salon. So there, I finally got the cut/style that I really wanted. It’s wash and wear, I can leave the house anytime without blowdrying or ironing. But of course it would look better if I ironed it.
**Ish likes it shorter, will have to hear from Josh, we fought last night so I guess he didn’t notice it**

OMG, I’m so late in doing this, it’s been a year (uber). This tag was passed on to me late last year and I just didn’t have the time to do it =( Thanks to the following lovely bloggers who thought of me, Cuz, KC and Francine. Sorry guys for doing this only now.
1. I love to eat: Pasta, serve me any kind and before you know it, it’s all gone.
2. I hate to eat: Lengua, I don’t know but I can’t stomach it really. Talking about wild imagination ^_^
3. I love to go: Shopping! Need I say more? lol
4. I hate to go: To the wet market, I can’t stand the smell.
5. I love it when: There is peace and quiet in the house.
6. I hate it when: My kids are fighting over crap and useless things.
7. I love to see: All my online friends.
8. I hate to see: The mess in the house.
9. I love to hear: My children’s laughter.
10. I hate to hear: My children yelling at each other.
I’m not tagging anyone, but if you’d like to do this, just grab okie?

Summer vacation is almost here for the kids. I think it’s going to start mid March. Everyone here is looking forward to it. I know of a lot of families who send their kids to the United States for a grand vacation. And you know what? Visiting theme parks are always included in the itinerary. I should know because when we went there for a vacation, I made sure that we will be visiting theme parks. It’s a fun way to spend vacation. Good thing my sister-in-law told me to buy tickets online, so it will save a lot of time instead of joining the long line to buy tickets.
If any of you have plans of visiting Seaworld or the neighbouring theme parks, be sure to get your Seaworld Tickets online. You can even avail of discounted tickets. It does not only allow you to save time by purchasing online but also on money because they offer tickets at a discounted rate.

Thanks to the number of different technologies coming out in the market everyday. It makes life easier for everyone. Take for example this plasma cutter. Can you imagine if the cutting of steel and other metal is done manually? It would reach “forty-seven” years before it will be finished, lol. But with the plasma cutter, cutting will be done in an instant. Now that saves time therefore there will be a significant increase in production.

It’s really very important to bring someone who is hooked into prohibited drugs to a Drug Treatment Center. I know this is not an easy decision to make, since it will involve physical separation. But then if this will help overcome their addiction to drugs, we don’t have other choice but to give consent. Addiction to drugs should not be taken for granted. There are a lot of scary things an addict is capable of doing since they are not in their right sense of mind. If you notice, a number of crimes are committed by these drug addicts since they don’t know what they are doing. Others resort to stealing, or even killing just to be able to satisfy the urge. So before any of these things happen and before it is too late, let us consider bringing someone we know who is into the use of prohibited drugs to a rehabilitation center.
Let me share with you a Drug Treatment Center I’ve come across lately. They offer programs that will satisfy your every need. The nice thing about it is they see and treat you as an individual and not some addict. This brings back the dignity in you. They have a variety of drug addiction treatments that focuses on healing the different aspects of your addiction. Their rehabilitation center is designed to give special attention during the most difficult times. By the way, this center not only treats persons with serious addiction to prohibited drugs. Please go and visit their website and know more about their different treatment programs.

I have nothing against insurance agents, but sometimes they get overboard really and I get irritated. They keep on calling and pressuring you to get insurance from them. They get to be bothersome at times. I can’t blame them because they are trained to do that, and of course each one of them have different strategies in luring their clients. I’m sure you have your own experiences with these insurance agents.
Here’s a bit of a good news. If you are in search of term life insurance that will suit your need, you can always go online and go to termfinder.com. You can get free quotes from them and you will be able to compare the prices and what each one has to offer. By going online, nobody’s going to bug you anymore like receiving phone calls even after office hours which really suck.

I’d like to thank KC, Ryan and Chantelle for the present they sent us. It came all the way from England where they used to stay. I really love the smell of the perfume Kri, N even says that the scent fits me to a T. Ish loves her J Lo too, and she’s bringing it with her anywhere she goes. Oh she says thank you too, I always forget to give her your email addy.

I made sure that I get these bathroom vanities installed in our bathrooms, well at least for me and the kids. True enough N granted it. I don’t know but I have been dreaming of having a really beautiful bathroom, one that looks like the bathrooms found in hotels or bathrooms found in bed and bath magazines. N knows about this, so when we built this house some 2 years back he made sure that I went with him to check on the bathroom section of the home depot. And he made me choose, yay for that.

We normally spend Sundays at my Mom’s place. After the church service, we proceeded to her house to have lunch. As usual she serves good food. We pigged out once again. I love my Mom’s garden too. It was actually my sister who did the landscape when she had her vacation 2 years ago. I can’t help but notice the way she combined the plants. The colors are just great!

I really like this frame a lot. I got so excited finding out that this is one of the Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses found at ZenniOptical.com. There’s a lot more you can find in the website, all cool and funky frames. Whatever shape of face you’ve got, there’s one frame waiting for you. If you notice these are the types of frames I go for. Even my daughter Ish goes for this kind too. Yeah like mother like daughter.
For 2008, there are a few things I’ve discovered already. Best Thing Found: Zenni Optical and Great Discovery: Zenni Optical. Where on earth can you find an eight dollar prescription glasses?

I’ve been to Vegas and it was truly an experience I will never forget. We just stayed for two nights and it was never enough. I wanted to see more, but due to lack of time I was not able to do that. Vegas is really a beautiful place, even my kids loved it. This is one of the places that they still remember until now. The shows, the lights, everything about Vegas is just awesome. I suggest that whenever you visit the United States, do make it a point to visit Las Vegas. You can always go online and look for a Vegas hotel. That’s what we did when we visited.

Hey Daph this site is for you since you are getting married in May. I found out from your blog last time that you still don’t have any idea on the wedding favors. You really have to check this website, they have cool and useful wedding favors. And a lot of choices too. You can browse the wedding favors by theme. It’s cool! I’m pretty sure that before you leave the website, you’ll immediately have an idea on what to give your special guests on your wedding day. It is also interesting to note that there is a sale going on in that website. Aside from the fact that their prices are already reasonable, they have slashed it further. The items that you will find are no more than $3, gosh that’s really reasonable. Even if I convert it to my currency, it’s still affordable. I won’t be able to get something like that from where I come from.
There are quite a handful of items that I really love. The salt & pepper shakers are really lovely. I will also take note of this website, not that I am getting married again, lol. I’m thinking of having some items to be given away on my daughter’s debut. Hhhhmmm, why am I thinking of that? She’s only 14, but that will be 4 years from now. Time is running fast and before I know it, she’ll be 18. Haha, I know I can be uber sometimes, but really I am just excited finding out about this website. The things I saw there are the things that I want to give away. It’s useful, nothing like what others give just for the sake of giving. Man I hate that. So to the would be brides out there, trulyweddingfavors.com is worth visiting.

Today I went to claim the business permit from the Manila City Hall. And since it is just across a mall, I sent an sms to Cuz asking if she was within the area so we could have lunch. She was still at home when she got my sms but just the same she agreed to meet with me. We had lunch at Pot & Noodle and the food was good. I ate a lot and my tummy was really bulging ^_^. Anyways, after we had lunch, I went to buy something for Trixie. Instead of buying clothes from Animaland, I thought of buying in the infants section of a mall. I went for the smallest size which is 0-6 months. I couldn’t answer the sales ladies when they asked me what size I was looking for. I was embarrased to tell them that I was buying for a bear, lol. Today I found out that buying clothes intended for humans is much cheaper than buying clothes for stuffed toys. Isn’t she pretty in pink?

My husband would really be happy to find out that there are pet friendly hotels. You see we are dog lovers, and we treat our dogs like they are one of us. They are part of my family. When our dog Diego knows that we are bringing him with us, there is a non-stop wagging of tail. He gets excited and leaps automatically when we open the door of our vehicle. Or sometimes he would just jump inside the kennel ready to travel with us. It’s nice to know that there are hotels who take our pets into consideration. They know how attached a person can get with their pets and they wouldn’t want to leave them behind when on vacation. Just like us human, it’s also a good therapy for our pets to once in a while go out of the confines of our homes. We should let them enjoy the new environment too. Well I can really say this, because as I’ve said, we treat our dogs like family members. They deserve it being a man’s best friend.
For those animal lovers who reside in the United States, you can check out officialpethotels.com to find out if the area you are going to have pet friendly hotels. They have the complete listing, and you better find out which hotel welcomes your BF. By visiting the website, you will also find tips for travelling with pets. Get yourselves acquainted with the website first, and find out everything you ought to know to avoid delays and for a hassle-free travel.

How long have you been blogging? I started this blog in July 2004. Used to be called funkymomma, but due to unavoidable circumstances (some nosey people), I changed the url to what it is now. And still they found me ^_^.
What inspired you to write a blog, and who are your mentors? It was one of my college bestfriends (Y) who encouraged me to blog. And yeah she was my mentor. She was really a big help in explaining the concept of blogging, down to html codes and all. Eventually I learned on my own by buying books on html codes, did a major tweaking which kept me awake til the wee hours.
What are the 3 things that you love about being online?
I am able to connect with friends.
I am able to share my thoughts to my loved ones and friends.
I make moolah by going online.
What are the three things that you struggle with in the online-world?
I’ve developed back pains sitting it out in front of the laptop.
Poor eyesight.
Sometimes poor internet connection (no dial-up here) which is a bit frustrating.
I’d like to thank Francine for this tag. I’m not tagging anyone this time because I know a lot of you have pending tags to do. But if you feel like doing/grabbing this, go ahead, I don’t mind. I need an extra link love, lol.

It really makes me happy when someone wants to be friends with me for life. And I’d like to thank Rachel for this award. I am also hopeful that the beginning of this friendship we have will bring us to greater things. To our friendship!…cheers!
I’d like to give this award to the following peeps. I hope our friendship goes beyond blogging…something like til we’re old and grey, we will still be there for each other.
KC - I met her a few months back, and seems like I’ve known her for ages already. She is a beautiful lady inside out.
Thess - She is never selfish. Whatever new things she discovers (problogging), she automatically shares it with us.
Rhada - I fondly call her CutiePatootie. She makes me laugh all the time and it’s such a welcome treat! What more if I meet her in person (which I look forward to), it’s going to be hilarious.
Justice - I’ve met her a couple of times already and there was never a dull moment with this lady. Thanks for sharing your life with me. Looking forward to seeing you this March.

When my sisters first got to the United States, they were excited that for the first time they will be able to experience winter. Little did they know that this will be their most hated season. Having come from a tropical country, they are not used to cold weather. The lowest they’ve experienced is like 8 degrees. I can just imagine how cold they will feel when it hits below 0 degrees. Most Asians I know really hate it when it gets cold. There are some friends who even choose to schedule their holidays during the winter season. It’s really a must to have Gas central heating in every home that experience the winter season. Comfort is really very important more than anything else.
Have you thought of who is the best when it comes to Central heating installation? You might want to consider northerngasheating.com. They have this slim boiler which does not get in the way, in fact it was designed to add aesthetic appeal to your homes. I remember a show I watched on TV, and her heater was really an eyesore. It was the problem of the homeowner because even if how much she conceals it, the more it’s obvious. But with the slim boilers, it can even free up some free space.
Now let’s go to your existing boilers. Are you having it checked regularly? If you find something wrong, are you able to troubleshoot? If not then it’s best that you go for a Boiler service. Don’t take things for granted, and think that safety should always come first.
