Yeah shoot me, even my children know how to do it, well it’s because they learn it in school. We didn’t have PowerPoint yet at the time. I often hear Josh call/refer to his sister as “boy magnet”. It’s like when I admire Ish with anything, next the words that will come out of Joshua’s mouth would be “boy magnet”. While we were having lunch awhile back I asked him what “boy magnet” means. And he was like, “Duh! Mommy it’s the things that you do that attracts boys. You know, like how you fix your hair, the clothes that you wear.” I suddenly fixed my hair “Isha Style”, then said, like this Josh? Do I qualify? And he was like… “For the love of …Noooooo, you are already married!” Haha, as if I don’t know that. What’s funny, their Dad reacted, saying “No boy magnet for you, you are married.” DUH!

I know how expensive it can get when you have Diabetes. My dad had diabetes and we really spent a lot of money for all his diabetic supplies. Did you know that in 2005, 1.5 million new cases of diabetes were diagnosed in the United States, and what’s sad, a great number of them don’t have insurance. As I’ve told you earlier, it’s really expensive to maintain or manage a person with diabetes. But here’s a good news I’m going to share with all of you. I’ve come across this site that allows 30-60 percent savings especially to those who do not have health insurance. I was able to compare the price of their testing strips with the one my Dad used to use, and it’s really a lot cheaper. Lizeth wants to know the 3 Things I Can’t Let Go. Well for now it’s:
1. Blogging - obviously you know the reason why. I am overwhelmed by what I am making especially in the last two days. I count it as a blessing from God, and I want to take advantage of it while it lasts.
2. Belly Dancing - this is my only form of regular exercise which I really love, other than that, I am a lazy bum.
3. Cooking - I feel happy seeing my family enjoy what I cook for them. Yeah sometimes I get tired, but at the end of the day I can still smile at myself, giving myself a pat on the shoulder “Good cooking Girlie”!

Sem Break started yesterday for the kids. It’s going to be a week long vacation. We planned to go to Subic today, but some things came up so the plan was ditched. Too bad, everyone was already excited. I know you’d say what about the other days of the week. Well my answer is I don’t think so, unless we want to be caught in a jam. Yes, there will be a lot of people who will be going home to the province to remember their dead relatives. We already experienced going out of town on those dates, and I swear we will never do it again. Half of the time was wasted on travelling.
Now I have to think of another plan. Oh maybe we can go swimming at the nearby Ace Water Spa. I have not tried it, but my kids have, a couple of times already. Yeah I think that’s it, we will go swimming tomorrow!

I was talking with my sister-in-law over the phone the other night and she mentioned that she wanted to have R&R somewhere, somewhere because she does not actually know where she wants to go. She just feels like going away, and it is very timely since it’s a long weekend. I even laughed at her for not planning, but well it’s her spur of the moment. She says that she can still enjoy even if nothing is planned, as long as she can think of a perfect destination. Come to think of it, yes it can be true. There are times that we have unexpected vacations or unexpected free time, and this is the best time to getaway. It is especially true to her because she works and works and does not have the time to go on a vacation. Well now I can share with her this website I found that offers Last Minute Holidays. I’ve been getting a lot of “butterfly kisses” from my darling boy lately, he has been soooo sweet, often embracing me too. One day he hugged me tight, and threw kisses left and right. I didn’t react coz I know he needed something from me. Then he said, “Mom, are you not gonna ask what’s the catch?” I said nope! He hugged me tighter and said, “Mom can I ask for 500 pesos for my level up card?” And I was like what? Mom does not have enough moolah. And he goes, “who says, you are in the number one spot of the top earner of the day and now you say you don’t have moolah?” Haha, me and my big mouth, I couldn’t stop myself from showing him that page where I was in the number one spot. And he said “for pete’s sake, I was only asking for 500 every holiday, and how many holidays are there in a year?” I was tongue tied, now I owe him 500 for November 1 which is All Souls Day, hehe, yeah, this one included in his holiday list.
**I don’t know if I have to get angry with him for saying “for pete’s sake”, but as it is I found it funny!**

I would really suggest that you hire a termite control service before your house gets infested by termites. This is what we did in the middle of the construction of our house. We wouldn’t want to see the destruction brought about by termites in the near future. I’ve seen houses infested by termites and it’s slowly falling apart. If you don’t want this to happen to your homes, as early as now hire a termite control service before it’s too late.

I know a few people who are already using remote access for their businesses. This is one way of tracking and getting involved in their business even if they are not physically present. This site came in handy when I needed it most. When we transferred to our new house, it was when I discovered that we had bedbugs. No wonder the children always complained of itchiness and I always found bite marks in their bodies. This site provides information on how to prevent bedbugs infestation and how to get rid of them. I have always shared in this blog that I have turned into an internet junkie. It’s like whenever I need information about something, I always turn to the internet. I love going to forums and blogs too, because for me they are the number one source of “real time” information. I also find it a big help in understanding some issues, especially when I get to read the ongoing discussions. Lately, I have been asked by a friend to search about certain laws in the US specifically in LA area, and I really found Los Angeles Criminal Lawyers Blog | California Criminal Defense Law Forum very helpful. This is the blog of a group of brilliant lawyers on Criminal Law and Criminal Proceedings in the Los Angeles area. I enjoyed reading all the entries in the Celebrity High-Profile Case category especially that of Hilton and Lohan ^_^
FYI, one of the blog authors, lawyer Dmitry Gorin, is a professor at UCLA and Pepperdine Law School, and he is often seen providing commentary on Court TV.

I went to the house of Cuz today to show support in her candidacy, this is the last day of the campaign period. It was fun walking in the street, taking pictures of her while talking with the people in her barangay. Man she has a lot of supporters, I think she’s gonna win. Let us all wish her good luck and pray that she wins. We’d know the results on Monday after the counting. Go Cuz!
**She’s one happy MOMMA too, after the parade, we went to Greenbelt 4 to get her birthday wish. WOOHOO, I’m so happy for you!**
