boooo…boooo…anybody home? yooohooo…
Our home is never the same without the kids…they are spending the night at my in-laws. It’s oh sooooo quiet here…
I miss their kisses whenever I get home, I miss Isha’s “hello Mommy” and Josh’s “Hi Mom”, I miss their “mano” (yeah I am old-fashioned, aside from the kiss, i want the “mano” to follow)
I miss hugging them, and them hugging me back…I miss our small talks…I miss hearing them fight over nothing/petty things…I miss everything about them.
I miss Josh sitting in front of my laptop, playing his favorite online game…but on second thought…YES, oh YES, i have my laptop all to myself, i don’t need to wait hours and hours…

Went to my kids’ school today to watch the Singing Contest in Chinese. Both of them joined. As a proud and eager Mom, i went to take pictures. Then somebody held me by the arm (a bit tight) and pushed me a little, pointing to a spot where I should stay. Fine, I followed her so as not to create a scene. But right after the turn of my daughter’s class, i went up straight to her.
Just maybe, she thought I was a Nanny. I was in Jeans, Tee and flipflops (read:havaianas or rubber slippers to her) and it was a bad hair day (read: ponytail). But nevertheless, she shouldn’t be doing that. I have been hearing a lot about that Elementary Chinese Supervisor. She is a MEAN FREAK! She TERRORIZES the students. She thinks she gains respect with what she is doing. I for one was a witness to that. She goes to the students, scold them (with her big round black eye-lined eyes) as if she’s gonna eat them. But right after she turns her back, the students make faces, laugh at her and God knows what else. By the way, she is referred to a BLACK EYED SUSAN! I am planning to write the school’s admin about it. If she was able to do that to me, what more to the students who are way way younger than me and helpless. Anyways…

The kids always look forward to this occassion, they get to wear costumes, bring home a lot of goodies, etc. But this year? Yeah, they are still excited about the idea of going trick or treat, BUT not the costume thingy anymore. I guess they’ve outgrown that part now, but Mom hasn’t =) When I was at the mall, there were a lot of cute costumes on display and i started browsing, picking what looks best on them. But uh-uh, they don’t wanna wear it. Instead, Josh had this…he thinks this could be the best alternative to wearing costumes.

With the recent brouhaha going on, i chose to remain silent…no use retaliating…why in the first place should i stoop down to their level? as long as I never said a word, I’m fine really. Now i can still face them, head up, nothing to be guilty about and above all i have PEACE OF MIND.

He dreamt about his foe that night, a dream that included fistfight. Too bad i was the recipient of that one fist that smacked right in my nose, i couldn’t do anything but wince in pain, waiting for blood to flow but there was none. The first thing i did when i woke up was to feel my nose…darn it, it didn’t get broken…haha…otherwise it could have been my chance to have it fixed (fyi…that’s the part of my face which i dislike so much), so i told him, next time you dream again…hit harder ok?
p.s. (to you) scoop, ain’t it? come on, feast on it ![]()

We were treated by Rhona’s friend to a one of a kind show at Club Mwah. (I really do not like the sound of it’s name…it just doesn’t give justice to the show and them being awarded the Asia Pacific Outstanding Entertainment Club-Theater Bar…don’t you think so?) Well anyhoo, the show was fantastic, well choreographed, and the costumes…gosh it was elaborate…was reminded of Moulin Rouge (but i didn’t say it’s as beautiful as Moulin….bleh)not even close…but really, kudos to the performers, they were great!
And yeah, i noticed that most of the guests that night were Balikbayans/foreigners… so i guess if you can’t think of a cool place to bring your guests/visitors, consider Club Mwah, i’m sure they will enjoy. For more details, go to Cuz’s blog or at their website.

Now you know why it is P-A-I-N…went to my Ortho today for the continuation of my TMJ Treatment. After wearing the splint for 8 loooonnng months, i’m now at the last and final phase, BRACES. Sat on the dental chair for a straight 3 1/2 hours, can you imagine that…and i felt like my lips were tearing apart, im not kidding. And the agony doesn’t end there…now i can’t eat, it’s just too painful to bear that i had to take a pain reliever. All i had was congee and a cup of ice cream. If the pain continues, man, i’m gonna be skin and bones….arrrgggghhhh.

It was my first time to witness a FunShoot, and it’s really fun. Aside from photography and cars, this is Nelson’s next love…no wonder our darling doll is so interested in guns too.

Imeldific? I’m sure…i just looooove shoes…so when Nelson asked me to accompany him at Tagaytay Highlands, i immediately said yes. Tagaytay Highlands is synonymous to the outlets of Nike and Adidas to me. We always drop by those outlets, and if i find something cool, i don’t go home empty handed.

Josh had his first campout today…too bad his sister didn’t qualify coz she lacked in the number of attendance required…it would have been a great experience for both of them. At first i was hesitant to allow him, scared that he might hurt himself, scared that he might catch dengue, worried that he may not be able to have a good night’s rest (no portable air conditioner, no comfy bed, small pillow), and a lot more. But given the facts, he still insisted, and yeah, why not…it will be a learning experience for him.
When we visited him that night, they were out ghost hunting, he was all wet from perspiration, he was even embarrassed seeing us =) yeah, he feels all grown up!

Just when I thought i was ok, something came up that i got quite pissed off…*looks hard at Cuz**but hey, before something stirs up, it’s not her fault really.
After a lot of teasing from Nelson about what happened, he made me feel good. He treated me with a Tall Iced Caramel Machiato and Ensaymada at Starbucks…and yes, I am A-oK now…add to that I was qualified to Globe Telecom’s Loyalty Reward (not sure if that’s how they call it). I get to have either a Motorola razr v3(used to be my dream mobile phone) or Nokia 6230i, or P21,000 which can be applied to succeeding phone bills…how kewl can that be!

I dunno why some people are born ENVIOUS and JEALOUS… I leave these quotes to you…Hope it sinks in *cross fingers*
“Envy is the art of counting the other fellow’s blessings instead of your own.”

The nice thing about going to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are their teas. They have different choices ranging from rare teas, classic black, traditional blends, classic green and now becoming a favorite of mine, their herbal infusions.
They say that their herbal infusions are prepared the simple ancient Chinese method of infusing the herbs in just-boiled water for several minutes. Except for one flavor, all of their herbal infusiuns are caffeine free. It’s the best alternative, don’t you think? Especially for me, muscle spasms get active everytime i have caffeine drinks.
